9 Dinner

But what greeted his eyes were a pure white body with not a shred of clothing on while those twin peaks were standing tall in his eyes while subconsciously looking down catching the full view of her secret garden while still looking on dumbly he heard a scream of embarrassment and anger realizing what's happening he quickly turned around. "I'm sorry Mikumo I didn't mean to peep on you I just heard singing on the way home and came here and then got lost listening to your song and since your hair was covering your back I didn't realize I'm really sorry".

As he quickly apologized. Mikumo said with nervousness "don't turn around just wait for me to wear my clothes" while hurriedly putting on her clothes. In the silence of the night, there was no noise except the noise of the waves and insects as well of the rustling of clothes. After putting on her clothes "so … so… d~did did y~you see" asked mikumo with a calm voice but you could faintly hear the slight tremble in her voice. "U~um y~yes I saw I'm really sorry I really didn't mean to I'll do anything to make it up to you" answered Haruto quickly while his heart was beating non stop like a drum.

After his voice sounded there was a silence followed after while his heart wouldn't stop beating as though it would jump out his chest soon eventually Mikumo spoke " never mind just treat it as though you never saw anything tonight okay and don't tell anyone about what you saw okay" with embarrassment but turned slightly threatening at the end.

But he quietly muttered "but I'll never forget something like that even if you killed me" but she heard his quiet mutter " what did you say" while raising her voice with a red blush spread across her cheeks making her even more beautiful under the moonlight " n~no~no that's not what I mean i~it's just that I~I~I" stuttering while his face was slowly turning red. Seeing his reaction she slowly calmed down and started laughing and seeing her calm down and laugh he just started staring at her face. Seeing him being dazed again " hey snap out of it" hearing her he started apologizing again but was stopped " didn't you say you would make it up to me earlier," said mikumo with a smile

"Of course I'll make it up," said Haruto nervously. Mikumo said, "so how are you going to make it up to me". haruto stopped for a moment and thought he doesn't know any way to make it up and even though he is getting paid as a recruit he doesn't know what to but so immediately said what was on his mind " dinner yes dinner I'll treat you to dinner you can eat anything you want and as much if I can afford it".

Hearing his reply she was stunned for a while then smiled " okay I haven't eaten dinner yet just get it the kitchen to make the regular and your pay for it".

"Um is it possible to for us to eat together".

She stared at him with wide eyes, he quickly said: " no it's not something weird or anything it's just I haven't had dinner yet either and my pay is kinda low so …". She was quiet for a while saying quietly " I'm not used to eating with others nevermind".

While slowly walking down. Seeing her about to leave he couldn't help but reach out his hand to grab a hold of her hand" wait didn't I say I'll make it up so I will" then he dragged her along with him towards town. While being dragged by him feeling his warm hands holding hers she doesn't know why but she didn't feel displeased at all.

Inside a noodle restaurant at a table with two people sitting silently without touching the food in front of them. "Mikumo-san why aren't you eating" after a moment of silence. Mikumo with her head down slowly looking up at Haruto with a faint blush "um I haven't eaten with anybody before this is my first time eating something outside of my arranged meal so I don't know how to eat this". Looking at her shy but the nervous appearance that contained a hint of anticipation and hearing what she said, he felt sorry for her after these 6 days he remembered his days when he was young where no one would associate with him where he would desperately hope someone would be friends with him.
