2 Chapter 2

The lady was confused, she looked me into my eyes. And believed me or not, I felt I was melting. Those eyes, so beautiful. When she got closer, my heart beat faster and faster until even I can even hear it.

"Why are you looking me like that? Do I have dirty on my face?" She asked me in confusion.

She is still walking towards me until she reached on my front and stop.

"You're beautiful" What the heck did I just said? I just want to ask where is the reception area and yet my mouth betrayed me on the spot. I smiled awkwardly and turned around to fled. For sure this event will gone viral.

I didn't see what's the reaction of gorgeous lady because after I said it, I turned around and walked away.

Two steps, three steps, I noticed someone just clutch on my right side. I stop and turned around to looked who was it. To my surprise, it was the beautiful lady. What the heck!

I gathered all my strength and step back away from her.

She knitted her brow like she was completely confused.

I took a deep breath "First, tell John that I will not buy it, second, really? He actually wasted a huge money, for what!? Just to make fun of me. Third, If he is making fun, this is not the right time because I'm not feeling well. And fourth, yeah! I know you are beautiful" I smiled awkwardly and left. Actually I didn't want to told her that she is beautiful, but when I saw her like she is confused to what I said, I complemented her.

Before I could get away, my head ache started to attack again. I closed my eyes because of the pain I felt, I want to shout but I stop myself because I don't want to disturb anyone. The the world spin very fast and I felt like the world was placed upside-down. Until I can't endure it anymore, I drop to the floor and the last thing I saw is the gorgeous lady was coming rushing towards me. Everything went dark.

Darkness

When I opened back my eyes, I found myself standing in the middle of the darkness. I can't even see my own body. I slowly walked around to find something that may can help me but it seems that everything was empty. And then, I saw a torch not far from me. I slowly approached it but when I get closer, I stop.

"Helo! Anyone here!" My echoed throughout the entire place. I waited for some time to know if anyone heard me. But a minute had passed and still there's no one in the vicinity.

I walked closer to the torch until I could reached it. Standing closer to it, I noticed that the fire on the torch didn't give of heat.

"Weird." I mumbled.

I reached it out but when my hand touch the torch. I was stunned by next thing that happened. The whole world was like spinning very fast and then the place where the torch was standing started to crumpled down. I tried to react but I was to late, I fall into the infinite darkness. The torch was still there on the same place floating.

I don't know how long I fall, maybe an hour or longer that. The torch before is already gone and the only thing that remains is the darkness.

I closed my eyes. It seems that I will not reached my thirty years, I thought.

They say, when you are dying, you will remember everything in your life. At first I didn't believed it because there is no solid evidence and besides no one came back to proved it, they just die.

I tried to remember everything, from my childhood till to my last memory.

My name was Adam and I am a soldier. Yes you heard it right, but compare to others, I'm different because I never got into combat and I'm sucks. I can't even do my job well.

When the Christmas season came, I was invited by John to go with him to a party. At first I didn't want to, but he was persistent, pestering me to come with him.

During the party, I stayed away from the rest but John saw me. He tried to make me drink but I never wanted to. In the end I accepted his offer and that's the start. I drunk and drunk until I vomit everything I ate, that's the last thing I remembered.

I opened back my eyes and I saw a speck of light. I eyed it intently and then it suddenly exploded into a blinding light. I tried to close and cover my eyes but my hands felts to heavy for me and I realized that including my whole body felt numb. I tried to scream but there is no voice came of. My heart started to beat faster and faster and the exploding light become bigger and bigger. It engulf me until everything become silent.

I slowly opened back my eyes, the first thing I saw was the golden decorated ceiling. I was back again?
