1 The beginning

Today, at mid January in 2176, there no much I can do, trap in the middle of island, guarded by some man in the corner of island, just like usual thing I do, playing some VR games. I got addicted to play VR games when I still 6 years old, I still remember the first game I play called 'let's become farmer', it is offline game, the goal is collect a lot money for easier life of farmer. It is my first time playing VR games, in fact I am still playing this games right now, because it feel like I really life in this game, it is have 50% identical with real world. Just imagine the graphic like 3D cartoon with more like human, without any glitch or some weird line in the character. Just playing this game make me feel that I really like a farmer.

In fact 'let's be a farmer' are legend game that published in 2100, its so legend that the game got remake in the latest VR technology. Just in fact people still like playing it, make this game deserve to be called legendary games, 76 years this game still survive. But the remake still contain same graphic with the first game when it published. What featured this game have that many people love are you can make your own family, married to one of any NPC the game have, and building your own family, and what amazing is the game used real time option so it feel like we life in the game itself. Its already 4 years I play this game, having 4 child and have happy life. What I confused in this game until now is when I want to touch my wife, there seem like wall that block me for doing it. When I sleep with my wife, the distance of me and my wife is 1 meter and still there seem like wall block it. You can imagine how big the bed are :D.

After finish playing it, I save and turn off the game and ready for my lunch. Calling someone to send me some food, and waiting in my sofa in middle of the room. The house I live in is big enough, consists of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 playground (where are my VR tools and other think I keep), 1 place to exercise and of course 1 place in the middle when I can rest and watch some news on TV. Sometimes I envy people that can enjoying life with other, and me, if I want to become like them, I need courage to deal with problems that will arise later, if the problem just include me I can face it, but if the other include, I can't. seeing people suffer cause of me make my heart like be stabbing by knife, but the knife not sharp enough.

After 5 minute, the food come, the food deliver by drone from nearest island, for the speed of the drone, its faster, maybe just need 10 sec to reach 1kM. but the drone is rarely used to transport item cause there are teleportation door. Every house have this teleportation door, only in half rich and rich people that have it, but for the poor, they only can go to delivery center to get the thing that send to them.

Eating my food while watching TV, there some shocking news that all the famous VR games developer in the world agreed to make VRMMO that will shock the world because it will be the first 100% reality VRMMO that ever made and its called 'Fantasy Online', it is not like there no VRMMO, but to make 100% reality is almost impossible. Mad Machine Inc. is one of the developer that can make 85% reality until now. The other is trying to make the better one, but only 80% reality that can be made. But now, this crazy idea come up with president of the gaming world Mr. Shinsuke 2 years ago, and now this game is finished and will be published in 1st march 2176. Its 2 month less from now.

Just like it name, Fantasy Online are the world that only appear in our imagination, the game full of magic, adventure, any other interesting thing. It will be set up in the world called Gaia, world full of many different species like elf, dwarf, etc. and player can choose one of it for his/her character. The fun part is human, elf, dwarf, beast, vampire and undead will be not in the same city. Every species have its own city and after player reached level 20, human, elf and dwarf will be in Light Continent and beast, vampire and undead will be in Dark Continent.

Hearing this, I grow excited, just imagine you live alone in unknown island, can't do anything like normal people be, when you see out the window, what you see just a lot of wood everywhere. And now, there will be game that can make 100% reality and that will be fantasy world too, I can't wait to play it. But, what if this 100% reality will make my bad luck aura came again???

"Who cares, this is just a game. It will be not people die in real life, can't it?"

The VR tools to play this game is different from usually used, this VR tools with the shape of glasses is far more simple than the latest VR tools that like helm. So everyone need to order it or buy it from nearest VR store. But the next word that came from Mr. Shinsuke shock me, because there will not be any online order to buy it, everyone need to buy it directly from the store.

Hearing that, I don't know what I do next, after thinking for a minute, I decided I will try to call someone, maybe he can send me one.

"Mister, I need new VR tools that can play Fantasy Online, can you deliver it?"

Without so much though, someone reply it so fast that make me happy

"It will be send and come in 5 minute from now" someone reply.

After 5 minute, the VR tools really come from the drone. When I get the tools, in the TV, Mr. Shinsuke told that the distribution of new VR tools will be send to VR market in all the world in 25th february, so everyone will be ready after. This is shock me, why someone can deliver it now? Are this tools is fake, not wanting to wait anymore I called someone and ask.

"Mister, are you kidding me? Mr. Shinsuke said the distribution will be in 25th February, but how can you obtain it now? It still 1 more month that anybody can have it? Are u send me the fake one?"

Without hesitation Someone answer

"its not fake, this VR tools come directly from Gaming World Organisation and send it to you, all higher up in the company that join hand in this game afraid if you not get one now, maybe the company building will collapse now because maybe earthquake, do you remember when you still 3 years old when you want a horse toys like in the TV and your mother buy it for you but got scam, the toys is fake that look like the real one?"

Hearing this I confused, what this tools relation to that time? Than someone continue

"you got accident when the horse toys broken and you got broken leg, but what about the company that make that fake toys, that company building is on fire and all the asset that company have disappear in an instant"

I got shock hearing this, I want to know is there victims in that fire? Before I ask it, someone continue

"it is okay, no victims in that accident. In fact is night time when the building is on fire and the building is empty"

Hearing this I am not relieved at all, but got scared by someone, how can he now what I am gonna ask him. Not long after that sentence someone continue again

"Government will make sure to give what you ask except for you to go outside the island and other impossible thing. And don't afraid of me, if you thinking how I can know what you thinking about the victims, is easy, no one want to hurt each other specially for 10 years old kid who have wife and 4 child and have to work in farm"

Hearing this I feel like chill in my all body and what only I can answer are simple

"Thank you"

After that I turn off the phone with my face turn pale like dying man, and mumbling

"I will never complaint anything again to someone".

Note :

Someone is Ein the MC call if he need anything, I want to add that someone not introduced himself to ein, but dunno should i write it, so i write it in this simple note. and Ein never ask about it too, so we just call him someone, maybe in the future i will make this character to be clear of his status. my friend ask me how u can get 4 child if when u can't touched ur wife? simple, u sleep, the next day ur wife pregnant (i must crazy if i make that scene, cause this web novel is to all ages)
