1 Identity
I am Geoffry Gold, I'm an adventurer searching for treasure in the unknown regions of the world! I have done many previous adventures and my very first, which I am willing to share, was when I encountered the Fire Cracker! The fiery beast was able to burn whole cities to the ground!
I was approached, in my small adventurers' shop in my village, an old man told me that his town had constantly been terrorized by the Fire Cracker! They'd rebuild their homes and return to good times, but a year later it would return and we'd repeat!
So, I followed the man back to his scorched village where children and parents sat outside their ash homes.
"We know that the dragon lives in the Northern Mountains where the Heart of Searing is!" the man said
"That'll be his power source. We destroy that, he'll be less powerful and easy to defeat!" I replied.
After more talking and negotiations, I and a small group of villagers ventured up the mountains!
Paths had been carved out along the cliff. The further we got, though, the smoky and foggy it would become! We walked onto a flat surface where a large nest sat.
"Saigo ni! Watashitachiha kono noroi kara kaihō sa remasu!" A man said before running at the nest!
"No don't!! What's he saying?" I asked
"He said, Finally! We will be free of this curse!!" A man said.
GGUUUUUURAGHHHHHH!! The dragon had returned and was ready for blood! We heard a distant groan and knew it had found the man!
"私を憐れんでください!お願いします!番号!番号!!" He screamed! I knew that meant something along the lines of "Have mercy! No No NO!"
"行進する!" Someone else shouted, I had no idea what he said, but everyone else ran forward towards the flame beast! I was in terror at what I saw happen to some of the warriors!
I scrambled forward towards the nest to claim the heart and defeat the Fire Cracker. I jumped over and thrust my arms forward to grasp the Heart!
A warrior who had lost his top half had dropped his sword! It was my time! I jumped onto the dragon and stabbed it inside his stomach. His stomach acid would start to pour out burning him on the inside! I progressed to his massive fire lungs which contained high amounts of CO2, but it would severely damage him! With him slowly becoming weaker and weaker, I struck my final blow to his head! His fire slowly burned out and fog cleared around the area! The dragon fell to the ground, with his final breaths he told me something, he said:
"Geoffry, you're not who you truly are! You are not who you think you are!" the dragon said
"What do you mean? Who am I?" I asked, but the monster had already died.
We escaped with only a few men left alive, but I did what I had to. I was paid for my efforts (20,000 Kren) and left-back to my village. One thing stuck in my head, who am I really!
