26 Tripartite Clash

Will's mind had changed very dramatically in a matter of a few minutes in the real world. First, his consciousness which was a white mist condensed into a solid white sphere and then his mind was somehow changed on looking at the terrifying eye belonging to the being with the terrifying claw.

Looking at the blue haired woman, Will wasn't too flustered, and continued to maintain a calm demeanor. He looked at Aria, who was relieved to see him wake up, but at the same time, hesitant because of the sudden arrival of this blue haired woman.

Will looked at the woman only to see that she was looking at him with immense curiosity like a child who found an interesting new toy.

"You are connected to the icy cold lake we happened across earlier. Have you been following us since then?" Will finally asked after leading out a turbid breath.

The woman had an interesting smile on her face as she pinched her chin with a thoughtful expression.

"You could say that."

However her eyes did not leave Will's body, as if she was very puzzled by what happened. Not only did his mind completely disappear from his body and he entered a false death state, he also managed to erase her strand of energy from his body. She was curious about this peculiar brat, but that was the extent of her interest - mild curiosity.

"Why is your body in such a contradictory mess?" She asked.

Will laughed. "I don't think it is any of your business." However, the moment he said that he regretted it. This woman was definitely not ordinary, yet he arrogantly retorted back. Being in Enkidu's mind had caused some of his wild characteristics to influence him.

The woman snorted. "Very Well. It truly is none of my business." She then turned towards Aria with a gentle gaze. "Little girl, why did you follow this brat into this land?"

Upon hearing the woman's question Aria was dumbfounded. "What do you mean? What do my actions have to do with you?" She asked with wariness.

The woman looked at Aria with some hesitation in her eyes, but soon she turned her gaze beyond the two.

From the central forbidden region of the Exploding Crust Dead Zone, huge tremors began radiating out, causing stones all over to begin popping like balloons and venting out steam. A huge crack began splitting the earth apart from the central region amd Will could see a bright yellow eruption of lava.

The woman with blue hair turned serious for the first time. Her blue irises glowed and her blue hair turned into sparkling water that then formed a curtain of water, protecting the three from the blast of the heat wave.

Will saw the woman's power and was surprised. She wasn't someone to be trifled with, and at the same time, he had a nagging feeling in his heart that the woman was not really human. However, his attention was soon consumed by the appearance of a person from the sudden volcanic eruption.

He looked like a man. His hair, his eyebrows and his eyes were all made of flames, and his pale but strong body walked out of the volcano as if he had been having a warm spa treatment. The man's eyes turned towards the three and began walking towards them.

Within a few instants, he had already arrived on a stone beside the one Will, Aria and the woman in blue were standing on. Will noticed that the stone the man stood on began to melt simply from coming into close proximity of the man, no being.

"Pure Effervescence, what are you doing in my territory?" The man asked with a smirk as he used his hand to push back his hair made of flames in an effort to look cool.

The woman in blue snorted. "Your territory? Incandescent Flame, you seem to have grown quite an attitude."

Incandescent Flame ignored the jab of the ethereal Pure Effervescence, and instead turned his attention to the two people standing beside her.

"A human pup whose body seems to be on the verge of collapse. Boring. Oh, what is this I sense from this girl?" Incandescent Flame asked himself loudly, clearly in a mocking voice directed at Pure Effervescence.

Aria was stunned. These two beings defied all her understanding of power. They had to be extremely high level warriors at the very least, in her approximation. Yet, now both had turned towards her with curiosity.

"The girl is under my protection. Don't you dare try scheming." Pure Effervescence snorted as her hair made of water turned into a whip, smashing into Incandescent Flame, who shrugged off the whip with a hand that turned into molten lava.

The moment the whip hit the lava hand, a buzzing sound erupted from the rapid heating of the water, however, both individuals immediately withdrew their moves when they saw deeper cracks appearing in the earth as a result of the clash.

"You've grown stronger." Pure Effervescence snorted.

However Incandescent Flame had a dignified look on his face. "Yet I can only continue to match your strength. You haven't been slacking off either."

However, he soon turned his attention towards the girl, Aria. "Do you know why Pure Effervescence wishes to protect you?" He asked in a playful voice.

"Incandescent flame, do not test my bottom line." The beautiful woman with blue hair flared her eyes in warning.

"It seems you haven't even explained to her what her situation is?" Incandescent Flame asked in puzzlement. "If the Deva King finds out what you've done, do you think you can protect this girl?"

"Oh? Let the Deva King come and meet me first. I wonder why he keeps avoiding me?" A voice suddenly boomed throughout the stony plains. Without delay, Will immediately turned his head upwards to see a heroic looking man who looked incredibly beautiful float down from the sky.

"Teacher!" Aria suddenly said as she felt a sigh of relief. She did not know who these two people were, but now that her teacher arrived, things would be fine.

Incandescent Light and Pure Effervescence looked upwards as well, but each had conflicting emotions. Incandescent Light had a shadow of fear creep upon his face, while Pure Effervescence had a complicated expression.

"Lord Woodvelle... You are actually on Oa?" Incandescent Light shivered in fear as the lava around him began to cool drastically.

Woodvelle's platinum hair was blowing in the wind as he calmly landed down and walked towards Aria, before ruffling her hair. "Teacher is here to protect you, don't worry." He said with a gentle smile, before turning his gaze towards Incandescent Flame.

Incandescent Flame shook his head. "Lord Woodvelle, I am indeed not your match. But are you really going to go against the Devas for the sake of this girl?"

Woodvelle laughed loudly. "I do whatever I want. If the Devas wish to cross me, I dare them to. A mere ant like you dares to have malicious thoughts on my daughter, do you think you can survive today?"

"Y..your daughter?" Incandescent Light looked at Woodvelle with horror before he turned towards Pure Effervescence, who seemed to be standing behind Woodvelle, as if agreeing with what Woodvelle just said.

"You... this is heresy!" Incandescent Light spoke in heavy breaths as his eyes turned towards Aria. The more he looked at her face, the more he found it to be an amalgam of Woodvelle and Pure Effervescence. His eyes turned to one of extreme horror.

Woodvelle snorted. "You actually dared to stare at her in my presence?"

A grand authority suddenly emerged from Woodvelle's body, turning into a solid aura of silver light that smothered Incandescent Light. Incandescent Light blazed into a terrifying lava to resist the light, but he found that his body was rapidly disintegrating away. Before he could even react, Incandescent Light's short stay had already overrun its welcome and he disappeared with a look of horror on his face.

Aria looked at the scene with dull eyes. In her mind only one word was constantly repeating itself like a recorder. "Daughter?"
