39 Tony Stark's New Life in Anime

CAUTION: Spoilers ahead for Endgame. For those who haven't seen it, be aware that I'll be spoiling part of the ending.

So, this idea came about because of a brief thought on what Tony Stark could bring to the real world if he were to become more than fiction. Obviously, my thoughts turned to anime instead of real world applications. This will basically be a foray into the various different worlds he could be a major player in. Almost all of the choices are sci-fi, with maybe one fantasy world. And most of them involve mecha.

To start off, I'll list some of the anime he could be introduced in. Things like Gundam, Code Geass, Infinite Stratos, and Patlabor. Mostly those that focus on technological mechs rather than phantasmal robots. There is one exception to this rule, that being Knights & Magic, where the spells are based upon coding/programming, which Tony is a supreme expert in. He'd be even better than the main character, far surpassing what Ernesti was capable of.

Of course if you do end up using this idea, you might need to go hard into the aspects of engineering and mechanics. This wouldn't be much of a problem for someone with a college degree in either of those subjects, but the layman may struggle. That's why a franchise which doesn't go too deeply into the technology of their universe would be much harder to write than others. I can understand why some would be put off by that part.

Any choice you pick, it is still the Tony Stark that dies in Endgame, so try to write from that perspective.
