1 First Idea: Resident Evil

Some time ago, I had a thought on what would happen if someone was perfectly compatible with all the viruses spawned from the Progenitor strain. So this fan-fic would be about either a reincarnated, transmigrated, or insert character who is found as a baby in the Sun Garden in 1968 when the ruins are discovered. He/She's (Your choice) adopted by either Spencer or Ashford, (Your choice), and used as a test subject for the various Viruses. Now, I figure I should give some examples of what the different viruses could do.

First of all, The T-Virus. I mean, my thoughts are just a basic strength boost. It would make the OC as strong as a Tyrant, with similar durability. You might be able to make it more interesting, but I'm spit-balling here. Maybe he/she gains the ability to control its mutations for special uses.

The G-Virus would give the OC super-regeneration like Sherry Birkin. This powerful regeneration would also dramatically extend the character's lifespan, bordering immortality. If the OC has the T-Virus they would also gain Electrokinesis, similar to the t+G-Virus. Again, these are just rough ideas, it is completely up to You.

There is an A-Virus, but it seems to just be a repeat of the T-Virus, so C-Virus it is. I guess the C-Virus would give him/her the ability to transform parts of their body into various weapons, similar to Alex Mercer from PROTOTYPE (If you know this game, you are cool in my book). From what I have seen of Resident Evil 6, the extent of transformations seems almost limitless, so let's say it is up to the imagination of the Author.

There's also the Prototype virus which gave Albert Wesker his abilities. So it's pretty obvious what powers the OC would gain. The t-Veronica Virus is another one I can't really say is too important. I suppose they might gain the ability to grow an armored carapace or use weaponized blood. I'll just move on to Uroboros to wrap up.

For the most part, it's just another upgrade to physical strength, durability, and regeneration. I suppose they might be able to use the tentacles for some functions. For the most part that's what I've got thoughts on. There are definitely other things to use but I'll move on to give some plot ideas.

There's always a revenge story plotline. Picture this, years spent as a guinea pig, constantly poked and prodded with needles, shot, electrocuted, drained of blood. You've become tired and angry at your over twenty years of misery. So, you break out and, after reading some medical documents, you realize that you are able to perfectly merge with all the various viruses Umbrella developed from the Progenitor strain. You decide to make it your mission to fuse with all of them and destroy the Corporation with your bare hands.

Obviously that one is banking on the insert rather than either the transmigration or reincarnation. Transmigration might not be right for the whole baby thing, so maybe a system type deal? The character all of a sudden is thrust into the RE world, and after being bitten gains a system which tells him his abilities and maybe he decides to meddle in the plot, gain a couple waifus, and generally be a badass. That one sounds like a pretty stereo-typical fan-fic, but I'd still read it.

I think for the reincarnation, something like a combination of the two previous. Maybe he is used as a test subject, but eventually breaks free and then begins his journey to become harem master of Resident Evil. I mean with all these scenarios it'd be pretty boring if he just killed everything with ease. So, maybe something like various organizations try and kill the main character? I don't know, it isn't me writing the entire thing, I have to leave something for You.

Now, I going to clarify some things. My thoughts for this were that every virus the mc fuses with is kept relatively dormant, in a way. They are active, but his DNA keeps the mutations in line. This prevents things like the G-Virus from getting out of hand. So all that's left are the benefits, increasing strength, durability, regeneration, lifespan, agility, and overall power. I was also thinking that the different viruses keep the others in check as well, adding to the mc's stability.

So those are my thoughts for a Resident Evil Fan-Fiction. Let me know if you would like to see something like this, I know I would. This idea has been furiously buzzing in the back of my mind for months now, so I glad it's off my chest. For those of you wondering where my actual novel is, I've stated that it's now been moved to Moonquill. Feel free to give your own thoughts, I'm happy to hear them.
