PROLOGUE 2.0

I came out of bed as I angrily turned off the alarm. That was the twenty second alarm to go off, yup I set twenty two alarms with just a minute interval between them so the alarm will finally do it job and wake me up. I was never a morning person but there are some things I cannot just adjust their timing like my final exam that was scheduled for 8:30 am. It is all thank to Harley that I did not have to stay an extra year in uni. I just love that bitch so much. Anyways I better get ready or Ill be late to pick Harley up from the airport and that would make her furious and trust me, you dont ever want to see her furious.

After like an extra minute or two, I finally got out of bed and connected my phone to the speaker playing Ed Sheerans bad habit and putting my music on shuffle mode before entering the bathroom to take my bath. After about fifteen minutes, lovely by Jay Davies was playing as I came out of the bathroom dressed in my Pj as I sang along to the song word for word, chill I am not going back to bed I just did not want to ruin my clothes because I am a messy eater. I went to the kitchen and made myself some toast and tea.

I was doing the dishes after breakfast when got a message from Harley. The message reads; SABRINA PRECIOUS BLACK tell me you are awake and on your way to the airport cos if you are not trust me you are not ready for what is coming your way when I board a taxi and get to your place. Love you boo with a heart. God! I got goose bumps just reading the message. I checked the time and it was almost 10 am. Her plane lands in twenty minutes time and it is a fifteen minute drive to the airport so I dried my hands and went to change. fifteen minutes later I was dressed in a blue boyfriend jean with a peach crop top with lace at the tip and a black sneaker and with my braids unpacked, I was ready to go. I carried my mini bag that has my Air pod in it and grabbed my car keys off the dining table as I left the house for the airport.

JAY DAVIES

I am never to trust Chris, I know he is my P.A and all but seriously I doubt if he knows what he is doing most of the time he enters a club. He just vanishes and I probably wouldnt see him until the next morning but yesterday was different, he didnt run off instead he got me so drunk that I cant even lift my hands without feeling like dying from the migraine. After about an hour off tossing round the bed I heard the door open and guess who it was. My very competent P.A. he brought me some painkillers and Chinese for breakfast. I didnt say anything as I used the drug and ate breakfast before taking my bath. I felt better after taking my bath and that was when I finally spoke.

You bastard! I said calmly. Yo! jay, so about yesterday. Uh.. I just want to say I he said uncertainly.

I cut him off as I threw a baseball at him. Dont ask me where I got it from.

Ah! He winced as the ball hit him on his right arm.

Remind me why I employed you I asked frustrated.

I wouldnt want to say but if I dont have any other choice, I would have to remind you of the fact that you didnt employ me. I am just here doing the duties of a best friend and following the bro code that states to always help a brother in need. He said cockily.

Just shut up and stop been cocky. I cannot wait to get a new P.A. I cannot believe the last one travelled without giving a notice I mean who does that.

Ever since my last PA decided to go on a romantic vacation with her boyfriend in the middle of my tour I have been stranded with chris, my best friend for fifteen years now. He wasnt supposed to even be in LA then but he managed to convince Belle, my manager and she agreed. I smell something fishy though, I mean belle is always so strict especially when it comes to business and she allowed a jobless and senseless person like chris to fill in as my PA? Either she was stressed and annoyed about the unplanned delay or she likes chris which will be funny because they are opposites of each other, well opposites attracts. I should observe a bit more before playing matchmaker.

Jay I heard chris call my name and it was then I realised I have been staring at him for the past fifteen seconds or so. Yes came my reply

Stop staring at me as if I am jobless, I have a job you know

Travelling around the world playing games is definitely a job I replied sarcastically.

That shouldnt be a problem since we are both doing our hobbies as our jobs and may I remind you I make millions of dollars a month from travelling and gaming as you just mentioned and you should feel grateful because I could be making thousands and millions if I wasnt here with you. He sassed.

Just shut up! we have to get to the airport I have to pick siri up from the airport in case you my personal assistant forgot. I said looking pointedly at him because this wasnt the first time he would forget my schedule not even the second. I am enduring a lot having him as my pa but he is worth the trouble sometimes.

Oh please, how would I ever forget my love muffin and you should stop calling her siri you know she hates it. Anyways you should get dressed and let get going. When does her flight lands?

I thought she was your love muffin you should know shouldnt you?

You know I hate anything dealing with papers I just couldnt look through it. Just tell me. He whined.

It wasnt even on paper you idiot. Belle said she sent it to your email but you were obviously gaming to check through it.

Just tell meeee. He whined

Fine her plane lands ten am. It almost ten let me get dressed. I said as I left the sitting room for my room.

Ten minutes later

I wore a black khaki pant, white tees, a bucket hat, nose mask, sunglass before putting my black dc martens boot on. I went out of my room and into the sitting room where i found chris on his phone probably gaming again. Gaming is the only thing he knows.

Hey, Im done lets go. I said as I threw him my car keys. He stood up to catch the key but wasnt able to and he pouted I laughed at him as he picked up the key.

"Why are you dressed like a kidnapper?"he asked

I gave him a pointed look before asking" am I supposed to let everyone know I am JD?"

"no but I feel the cover is too much people might start suspecting something"

"fine so what should I remove?" I asked after giving it a thought

"the sunglasses so you can at least see and pull the nose mask down a little".

"okay" I said before doing as he said and we left for the airport.
