5 Chapter 5 - The imprisonment

Maximus' pov:

I can't believe that this woman is my mate. She is so weak. She didn't even try to talk back to me. How she would be able to be the Luna of my pack. She is absolutely pathetic.

-"You are overreacting. Do not underestimate her. I feel her wolf, she's strong! " my wolf scolded.

-"Yeah...whatever. You can't convince me with just a hunch when the facts show the opposite".

Α knock on the door interrupted my discussion with Drako. I told them to enter and when the door opened Jina got in wearing a very tight pink dress which revealed her assets. She is so fucking hot and also the most powerful she wolf in my pack.

-"You forgot to say the most self seeker she wolf also" Drako intervened and as always I ignored him. I wouldn't let him spoil it for me. For days I was travelling without having the opportunity to entertain myself. Of course I had other women all this time but with the revealing of Adelina as my mate in the last pack it was impossible for me to have some fun.

Jina approached me with this alluring way of hers, leaned to me and told in my ear

-"Baby where have you been? You forgot me ..you didn't even salute me when you came. I missed you baby".

I brought her towards my body, hugged her and kissed her all over. Her kisses are so sensual and the way she handles her body is so sexy and alluring. She always turn me on and she is always a great fck.

Adelina's pov:

After the guards accompanied me to my room, Ι sat on my bed completely socked. What was that? Why is he so mean? I have to go back and talk to him. Right now. I have to sort things out.

I left my room and headed for Maximus' office. I didn't know why, but an awful feeling took me over, like something bad was going to happen. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my heart. I knocked the door but I herd nothing in response. Instead, weird sounds were heard from inside, like moaning. I didn't think further and entered the office. The spectacle left me speechless. Maximus was having sex with another woman. A tall, skinny red haired woman, who was all over his body touching and kissing him. When he realized my presence he made a big growl and yelled at me to get out.

Although his reaction made my knees weak, I stayed in my position and demanded explanations.

-"How dare you? Who do you think you are?" Maximus growled at me.

-"Baby who's that bitch?" the red haired asked staring at me with venomous eyes.

-"I am his mate. And who are you?" I responded with pride.

-"You? Ηis mate?" and then turning to Maximus she continued "Is she kidding? This short worthless woman? This minion? Your mate? Don't make me laugh! She isn't even pretty!", the red haired continued mocking and underestimating me.

- "Get out!" Maximus yelled at me.

-"I won't. Until you tell me who this woman is. I demand explanations" I told him stubbornly.

-"I am his love and future Luna of this pack bitch. Didn't you know that?" the red haired intervened in a sassily way.

-"What? How is this possible? I am his mate! I am going to be Luna!" I protested.

-"Jina please leave us alone. I have some things to discuss" Maximus told her

-"Alright my love. But do me a favor, teach this bitch a lesson for disrespecting us."

After giving him a full of lust kiss she left the office. I take a deep breath, one that I didn't know I was holding. I tried to relax and asked Maximus as calmly as I could.

-"Maximus what's going on? Can you explain me please?"

-"It's Alpha to you and I am not obliged to explain anything to you. A few minutes ago I gave you the rules of the pack. Your impiety won't be tolerated. You are nothing. Your demands don't mean anything to me. How dare you acting like this? How dare you disobeying me? Your misbehavior will be punished. You must learn your lesson. You will be imprisoned in the dungeons for a week with only food water and bread. That will teach you who the Alpha is".

-"What? I am imprisoned while you got caught kissing another woman? Really now are you serious?"

-"Guards! Take her to the dungeons."

-"But but..."

Two guards stormed in the office and grabbed me by the arms. They lead me down to the stairs where the cells were. The stink was unbearable. Smells from tail, blood, mold and impurities were all over the place. It was clear that it hadn't been cleaned and ventilated for years. The guards forced me into a cell and left me alone. In the cell there was a bed from straws with an old blanket full of holes. Above the bed there was a small window with bars from which you could see the sky and the stars. It also had a very dirty toilet. The cell railings were silver in order no werewolf could escape from here. Sadness, disappointment, injustice, raillery overwhelmed me.

Where I got myself into? This can't be happening. Mates aren't supposed to act and behave like that! What's his problem? What did I do wrong? Oh my goddess please let it be a nightmare.

Hours passed in absolute loneliness. Only a guard came by in the afternoon and left me some dry bread and a bottle of water. I was really very hungry and thirsty. I needed food to regain my power. The night that arrived was cold but my heart was colder. My wolf tried to keep me warm. My heart, my body, my mind aches. I do not know what to do. I didn't believe that my mate would treat me like this. I feel abashed and agitated. One part of me wants to fight and claim my mate from this red haired. But the other part feels completely helpless and incompetent. I wander if he deserves a chance after all...
