4 Day 3 A collective of projects and ideas!

(AN= S.C = South Carolina and thanks for the name suggestions! if you didn't get chosen I'll use your name on another thing in a future chapter :)! )

[Day 3, Month October, Year 2270]

I woke up with Diablo whining and checked what time it is, currently, its 8:34 am

"God, you smell" my nose scrunched up at the smell of diablo, guess they're wild for a reason.

I looked over and decided on names for the other pups, as there were 6 pups and a dog in total left, I had to think about it a bit.

I walked over to the first pup and looked at him deciding on the name 'spot' with the first one out of the way and ironically, I called him like this is because he is a black Labrador with a white spot on his torso.

The 4 other male pups I named respectively, Rex, Sterben, Rosco, and Chop.

Rex was a follower, you could see with the way he followed the other female pup around everywhere, guess we can know who'll help with scouting.

Sterben looked like a pup on its death bed but was the most active next to another pup, He was a black Labrador with white streaks running across his body.

Rosco and chop looked the exact same, so I'll get them different colored collars, so I know which is which, I've always been bad with telling twins apart. They're the laziest so far but I think we can fix that up when they're growing up.

There are 2 female pups and I called them, Rose and Ahsoka. Rose is a golden, brown Labrador whilst also being a lot quieter than the others, Ahsoka, on the other hand, is basically what you would expect from a puppy named Ahsoka, sterben keeps following her which annoys her I can tell from here, they're both super energetic and doesn't listen to her mom, I snickered to that, to be honest.

nice! So, there are hidden missions I can complete, so I can technically unlock a lot of other stuff by doing random things and hoping it can help out.

Whilst having the inner monologue I fixed all the collars to their necks and brought out the food bowls, filled them all with some canned dog food I got, and got them to eat some.

Next, I got a bathtub ready in the barracks, got to wait for the dogs to finish eating, and then try, keyword being tried to get them in the bathtub.

[Time skip 20 minutes]

Soaked and shivering I leave the bathtub, the dogs all literally whined when getting them in the bath, it took me well over 20 minutes to get them all washed I haven't even dried them. Got pushed in twice by the mom and nearly drowned because of her as well.

I have never glared at a dog but that was the first time I did, now thinking back I had to laugh about it.

I checked the system for new notifications and noticed a few remaining ones that I didn't get to see yesterday considering the adrenaline I had running thru my body it kinda makes sense.

So fixing the troop transport netted me some nice XP and I got a hidden mission when the wall or LAAT got fixed up, most likely the LAAT considering it was done first.

I walked over to the closet I had put a few clothing pieces in and took the other set of military fatigues and put my armor on again.

Before I forget it I can choose new perks and I went ahead and chose toughness and upped that twice now I got 20% Damage resistance, then I went and got iron fist for the extra 20% punch damage.

finally leaving the barracks for the day, I squinted my eyes when the sun shone straight into my eyes.

heading over to the command center to check on the drones first, I noticed one of the trucks was dismantled looking out of the gate.

I guess they're done with 'researching' the trucks, hope they can fix it, maybe add repulsors to the trucks instead of tracks? We'll have to refit a fusion reactor to fit in there and make sure it's 'radiation proof'

Plans for later, the drones however have had some casualties, 2 were damaged scouting around the S.C. Saugus Ironworks, raiders have taken it over and fortified it, most likely a version of the Forged in S.C.

One of the buildings I will have to take over just to get a pre-build refinery for metals, this will help with making the normal items that I'll sell to the public, like pre-war weapons and tools.

Weapon making will continue to be a grand money-grubbing enterprise even after a devastating war happened, but at least I'll make some money from this. And I can also get a better reputation for arming the 'citizens' of the commonwealths of America.

I snort thinking about that, maybe I should open the hospital when I have those synths to do the same as Dr. Usanagi, she did make quite the number of caps from operating and installing cybernetics.

If I utilize the Star Wars prosthetics, I can maybe even recruit grizzled war veterans or even just plain old, crippled people to work for me, if I save them from their 'life of torment' they might just hand over their loyalty, well as long as they weren't raiders beforehand.

Entertainment is something I can continue into as well, Music, Art, and more can be found around the world and we could even maybe recreate it in a few years.

it could prove to be another economical area we can abuse with droids.

And who knows maybe one day I can make Mandalorian armor or even Mjolnir armor to make specialized units,

If and this is a very big IF, I can get a cloning facility with all the features and options, and maybe get a DNA sample from one of the fictional characters like john aka master chief aka Spartan 117,

Jango Fett (Cause he's a badass and who wouldn't have a Mando as the clone template) just to get those iconic clone units.

Maybe in the future I can have Jedi running around killing people with the force, "hahaha" I laughed out loud on that thought, I'd rather have the revanites. Or even the old Je'daii order.

The modern Jedi and Sith are basically the opposites of each other.

The Jedi and their indoctrination of babies, the Sith, and their brainwashing. Literally the same coin just 2 different sides.

Anyway getting off-road here with the rants.

Heading over to the main droid I asked him about the time left for all the projects to be completed.

"Current estimates are at 12 hours remaining for dismantling the house, the watchtowers are finished and we have gotten the first truck modified to your specifications, do you wish for the other trucks to be modified differently?" he asked me

"Yes, see if you can remake the repulsor tech from the galaxy, if you need extra power try refitting the fusion reactors from this world into the truck you fix and go from there, make the truck you refit into a mobile base, basically mounted turrets and other goodies you expect to find on a small freighter," I responded making me go out of breath with how much I said

"It will be possible to do this, would you like to repurpose the LAAT to transport the truck bed as well?" the droid asked, I quickly responded with "No, don't worry about that when I'm able to start producing starships we can send out sensor buoys to see where we are and if there is a galactic civilization near us."

"Very well sir, Estimate project finish 3 days and 12 hours."

Alright, I got the estimated time to get scouting again,

now that I have the drone fabricator I can practically create drones forever, if I have the resources.

opening up the fabricator panel I get on the fuel menu and check again what I would need

For this, I'm going to open up a few more Regular items,

That's awesome! The weapons I can make soon enough for my forces, if I can get a standardized rifle then I can sell the MP5's and Glocks, considering they use 9mm pistol rounds I won't run out of ammo if I switch it up.

The Vibranium weave book was a surprise, an awesome surprise I must say, If I can make shields or just bulletproof armor for my troops I can get a casualty rate down for a while and my recruitment could go up, now this I can also use on my vehicles or synths. Buildings will come later when I have a drone able to scan and mine hotspots with vibranium. I would expect to find some on this planet with how many asteroids fell down to the earth during these 200 years.

Maybe the aliens use vibranium? A thought for another time.

Now that I have the resources to fabricate the drones I can make a lot of the scout drones, and upgrade them with metal detectors.

That will not take all the resources, but it will take most and I can live with that.

Now that these drones are done I'm sending them out, they will find the metal hotspots and send the data back to base. When these guys are done I'll hope for some mining equipment to mine these hotspots out.

<POV change> {Brotherhood of steel scribe, radio operator}

"Welcommmeeeee to the South Carolina summer radio, this is your host skinny Pepe and with me is a settler from Portsville who saw an awesome battle between a wasteland and a summer boyz groupie!" the radio operator listened in on this piece, if this has some juicy info I can maybe get a promotion!

"Why don't you say hello to our dear fellow wastelanders?" the podcaster asked his guest, "R-right hello everyone, uhm…. I'm from Portsville-" he got cut off "Come on bud, let's hear the story! What happened out there?!"

"Right right! I was talking to our guard joe when we spotted some raiders attacking the gas station near our settlement, we thought they were attacking another caravan but it all changed about 5 minutes into the fight, something like a vertibird came in and a shot green lasers to the raiders. Not even a single shot was fired back! They died instantly cut in half and all, then we saw someone, just one person come out of the gas station and leave in the strange aircraft with a few dogs and some sort of motorcycle"

'Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit!!!!' the radio operator said in his mind

"Paladin McMillan!" he shouted for the paladin who ran over as soon as he was called.

"What is it scribe?" he asked hurried, "I heard some reports from the radio about something resembling a vertibird in South Carolina. Near Portsville sir!" the scribe responded

"Good work scribe, you may have gotten the Brotherhood a good clue to those damn remnants!" Responded the Paladin

"doing my job sir!" the scribe saluted before getting back to work and writing out a report on the current info he got from the radio.

in the background paladin McMillan called out to the midwestern brotherhood to get a scouting party sent to Portsville and find more about the technology that was heard found near it.

it's been a few hours since the radio podcaster released some info from what happened yesterday. The brotherhood of steel most likely heard it or some other technology depraving group.

I'm just going to back and play with the dogs a bit until the scout drones have found a few metal deposits.

= Time skip 5 hours =

it's 8 pm now, I literally played 5 hours with these doggies, they're cute as hell and sleeping now.

the drones have found about 20 metal deposits around here including near the raider and mutant outposts, the major lot of them are near Beaufort about 9 of them.

These deposits not only include Iron, copper, tin, and aluminum, they also include, Titanium and vibranium.

This is what I need right now, imagine getting a Vibranium covered LAAT or even just a beskar mix with vibranium to make armor. Vibranium suppressors for weapons and just blatant vibranium weaponry, since it negates kinetic force on an amazing scale you can practically shoot for an unlimited time without feeling the kick, well you'll feel uncomfortable after a few hours of shooting.

Doing a workout and then eating my dinner, mac and cheese (President cheese from France) which smells bad but is oh so tasty!

I return to take my shower and all the dogs are now lying on the bed

Heading to La-La land is faster now after working out.
