10 10. Leaving Vault 81 Into The Commonwealth

After that Sico and Officer Edwards went back to the security department room to gather the group and lead them to the cafeteria where the officer gave them a nice little party to celebrate their success. When the party was over, everyone went back to their room to get a shower and went to sleep after an exhausting day. Went Sico lay down in his bed he didn't forget to see his status and saw that there were an extra 17 mole rat meat and mole rat teeth after killing the mole rat when finished saw his status Sico went to sleep.
Two days have passed since the extermination of the mole rat, the project has been restarted and going on the right track. Sico and Calvin make sure that there are no mole rat dens so that there are no similar accidents again. With the project continuing without any problems, Sico now thinks that after the second phase is finished he will make a preparation to leave the vault and he has 5 months before the quest deadline, Sico thinks that he will ask the Twins and Curie to follow him on the journey because he plans to make a little mercenary group.
After finishing thinking about that, Sico back to focus on his work and brought a lot of cement to block the previous mole rat den. When the mole rat den has been sealed off with cement, Sico asks for some help from the other workers to bring a steel wall to block the den that fills with cement. After that his work was finished for the day and went back to his room to get some rest for the night, the next day he met up with the Twins to discuss what he was thinking yesterday.
Sico: "Hey guys, I have something wanted to talk about with you guys."
Jenny: "What is it Sico?."
Robert: "Yeah what is it about?."
Sico: "So after this project is done, I'm thinking about leaving the vault to get some adventure in the outside world and I want you guys to join me."
Jenny: "What!? Are you serious!? I mean it's pretty dangerous you know and the situation is pretty much different than we get done adventure on the vault lower ground."
Robert: "What Jenny said is right Sico, it's doesn't mean that me and Jenny afraid or something but do you really think this through and not just some excited about it for a moment?."
Sico: "Of course, I think it's through Robert, don't worry you know I have always had the ambition to rule the outside world."
Robert: "Wow! That was a pretty big ambition and I'm in if you make me your deputy after that."
Sico: "Of course Robert you will always be my right hand man."
Jenny: "Hey you two don't leave me out, I'm also joining you know."
Sico: "Hahaha… yes Jenny we know, so after this project let's train together you guys. We had to have good combat skills and stamina plus strength to survive out there you know."
The Twins: "Yes sir!!!"
After that they split up and go back to their work, Sico while working thinks that he has to go to the sanctuary to get the Sole Survivor's assistance because all of us know how strong the sole survivor is and Sico hopes that the sole survivor is a female so that he maybe can make her become his girlfriend.
Four months have passed and the project's second phase has been completed without any more incidents aside from the mole rat incident. Sico and the others celebrate it in the cafeteria because they know after this phase is done there is only one phase left and the lower ground can permanently become the living space for everyone. After the party was finished, Sico and everyone went back to their room to get some rest for the night.
In the morning, Sico woke up and then ate some breakfast after that took a shower. After that he went to the overseer's room to tell her about his plan to leave the vault in 5 months, when Sico arrived he saw that the overseer was doing nothing and just watching outside of her room through her window.
Sico: "Excuse me, overseer, May I have a moment?."
Gwen: "Of course Sico please have a seat, So what brings you to my room in the morning."
Sico: "Yes I have something to talk about with you overseer."
Gwen: "Oh? What is it?."
Sico: "I want to ask permission from you for me, the Twins, and Curie to leave the vault and go to the outside world."
Gwen: "What!? Are you crazy!? Do you realize how dangerous outside of the vault is!?."
Sico: "Of course, that's why we still have to go. We don't want to live the rest of our lives inside this vault, and who knows how much longer the vault can hold on? Besides I think we have to start expanding outside to make a settlement because we need more people you know that and who knows when the raider get smart and try to blast through the door"
Gwen: "Fine, but please stay safe out there and remember this place will always welcome you guys back whenever you want to."
Sico: "Thank you, overseer. Oh and please give us leave for 5 months, we want to use this time to train and prepare for the journey."
Gwen: "Okay then is there anything else?."
Sico: "No overseer, I take my leave now."
After finishing talking to the overseer, Sico went to the Twins to tell them to start training and prepare for the journey while he went to his parent to ask permission from them.
Sico: "Mom? Dad? May I have your moment?."
Lisa: "What is it, honey?."
Jacob: "Well what do you want to talk about?."
Sico: "I want to ask permission from the two of you that I prepare to leave the vault in 5 months."
Lisa: "What!? No, you can't it's dangerous!."
Jacob: "Hold on honey let me talk to him, are you serious Sico? You know that the outside world is dangerous will you be ready to accept that responsibility?."
Sico: "Yes Dad, I can don't worry you know how smart are you, son."
Jacob: "Okay then you have my permission."
Lisa: "But Jacob, he still…."
Jacob: "Enough Lisa, he has become a grown up man and has a mind of his own. As long as he knows about what is the possibility of his choice we have to accept it."
Lisa: "Okay then, Sico you got my permission."
Sico: "Thanks Mom, thanks, Dad."
After the talk between parents and their child, 5 months have passed. Sico with his group are ready to go on their journey while waiting for the vault door to be open, they say goodbye to everyone who cares about them, especially Sico who hugs his mom who crying. When the door opened the group went out looked back to say goodbye one last time then went forward and went going they heard a sound from behind like Stay safe or don't forget to come back.
While going on to the outside of the cave, Sico heard a sound from the system that told him the quest was finished.
System: [Ding! Congratulations on finishing your quest after calculating the grade you got A, so here is your reward: 5 special stats, 5.000 caps, 3 sets of combat armor, 2 Automatic Assault Rifle, 2.500 5.56mm ammo, and power armor T51 blueprint.]
Sico: 'Yes!!! Finally, a big reward thank you system.'

Sico: 'Hell yeah new quest, the rewards are good finally there is transportation for us in the future and meet up with the sole survivor? I wonder if the sole survivor is a male or female? Now I can not reveal the prize out of the air in front of them, maybe when we loot some building I just make it as I found it there.'
Sico: 'Now for the stats, I think I put 2 for luck, 1 for strength, and 2 for endurance now system shows me my status'

After they go out of the Vault 81 cave, they see a new world in front of them like real plants or cars but destroyed. Sico tells the group that he was given a map of the Commonwealth they called by the great war survivor and it was given by the overseer where she got it while trading with the trader that always traded resources. Now Sico notified the group that he wanted to go to the Diamond City which is the biggest settlement in the Commonwealth and wanted to make a base there.
After that, they follow Sico who has the map while looting the building on the way to Diamond City. Then while Sico loots the building, he quietly places the rewards he gets 2 Automatic assault rifles, 2.500 5.56mm ammo, and 3 sets of combat armor then calls the group that he found something. When the Twins and Curie saw what Sico found they were ecstatic and quickly used the combat armor alongside Sico and the weapon used by Sico and Robert. After putting on the combat armor and bringing the weapon, they continue their journey to the Diamond City to make it their first base.
