10 9. Female lead

After climbing down the wall with difficulty Myra ran towards her room to get a quick change of clothes. Before walking towards the back courtyard. 

Myra tried to walk quickly but unfortunately because of the heavy dress she could only walk in a slow pace. Suddenly few hushed voices entered her ears. 

"What happened?" a female asked her friend with a confused expression. 

"Seems like something happened to Young miss of General Manor." the other female next to her replied also not sure what is going on inside General Song's Manor. 

Myra lowered her head and walked forward when more gossips entered her ears. 

"I saw her hand maid crying!" a man furrowed brows as he gossiped with the person beside him. 

After walking a few more steps she heard more gossips about the happening in General Song Manor. 

No one had clear understanding about the situation but all of them knew that something bad happened in General Song Manor. 

"Poor thing!" an old lady exclaimed. 

Hearing all this Myra pressed her lips in a thin line. Slowly making her way towards the Backyard, where the hairpin Ceremony was held.

The day which was supposed to be auspicious day for both sisters was now caught in various gossips. 

All the guests were talking about the accident happened in General Manor. 

From their talking Myra already knew what was going on in General Song Manor. She was not worried because everything was going according to plot. 

Instead she was feeling bad for real Song Li Na. She was such a sweet and responsible girl. She would make a perfect docile female lead, it's just that audience this days people does not  like reading about docile and shy yet powerful female leads that much.

 Of course, there are many readers who like such sweet female lead but there majority of fans of heroic and badass female lead. 

And the female lead character Myra wrote about happens to be a cool, badass and crazy character, making her feel more interesting than typical sweet character. 

It's just that when thinking about facing her Myra does not know how to react.

In original novel Song Li Jing married someone after this hairpin ceremony but now that Myra occupying her body there's no way she is going to marry anyone.

'I have to find my way back home.' Myra thought to herself anxiously. 

Engrossed in her thoughts she did not went to middle of back courtyard but stood at the corner of the courtyard. 

No one noticed her standing in the corner because guests were indulge in gossips and servants were panicking running all over the General Manor. 

Myra stood at a place gazing at her feet. She did not dare to go and see Song Li Na right now. 

'She must have left by now.' when this thought came to her mind, Myra instantly teared up without any warning. 

While Myra was indulged in her emotional strom a hand softly on her head, making Myra jump away in shock. 

" Gosh, why are you so scared? It's not like I'm going to eat you up. I bet your meat won't be tasty to eat too." A clear and sweet voice echoed in her ears but the words were completely contrary to sweet. 

It wasn't hard to guess the owner of this sweet voice. It was none other than my bad ass new sister, the female lead. Yes, the cool, badass and amazing female lead. 

Myra turned and looked at the identical teenager girl standing in front of me with furrowed brows.

Calming down, she bit her lower lip softly and blinked a few times before opening her mouth to speak. 

"Sis, Younger sister? What, What are you doing here? Our hairpin ceremony is about to start." Myra wasn't stuttering on purpose but looking at the small face and remembering the mischievousness of this girl in front of she can't help herself from stuttering a bit.

The was once a wonderful character for her. But when she finally this character came in front of her, she can't help shrinking her neck. It was not only because of the character but the type of story she wrote. 

While writing the story it felt really exciting but suddenly coming in such a close contact with the story, her body shuddered in fear. 

'I know she won't hurt me but...'  Myra tried to console herself but it was to no avail. She could not console her inner fear especially because of the plot she created. 

Myra turned to look at the female lead, who had a slight smile on her face. The Female Lead looked askance at her.

Myra dodge her gaze and looked around landing her gaze at Madam Song who walked towards the crowd calmly but there was no smile found on her face.

General Song was much more better than her. he commanded few servants to look for his two daughters and continue with the hairpin Ceremony.

Originally, neither General Song nor Madam Song were in mood to continue the ceremony.

When they heard that Song Li Na wasn't breathing anymore their beats hitched and they ran towards her courtyard in a heavy mood.

When they reached Song Li Na's courtyard, the two saw their daughter covering her head with white gauze.

Sensing their presence she turned to look at them. She raised her eyebrow in enquiry.

"Who?"

Hearing this both Father and mother Song felt their heart clashed. First their elder daughter lost her memories. And now their younger daughter also.....

Madam Song stopped thinking and hugged Song Li Na. Her eyes teary she Said. "Na'er, what happened to you? The maid said they found you were lying in the ground breathless. Mother....."

"Mother don't worry, when I woke up I could not remember anything. But it's fine I can always remember it later. If I can't then you are there to help." Song Li Na said with a gentle smile on her face.

Madam Song nodded and let go of Song Li Na. "Since you are fine let's continue with the ceremony. You should stay here and rest. Soon I'll send a maid to call you. It'll take only few minutes to complete ceremony, could you do it?"
