2 1. What's going on?

The afterglow of the sunset lit up the whole city, painting it with orange and red. Resulting in a seren atmosphere in the city.

Ring ring *

The phone bell rang breaking the since of the dim lit room.

"Hello" a girl with black rimmed glasses and a bun. Wearing hoodie and sweat pants, displaying a typical image of Otaku picked up the call.

"Am I speaking to Miss Myra?" a polite female voice sounded through the other side of the phone.

"Yes, yes may I know who's this?" Myra asked hesitantly.

"Miss Myra, I'm Qin xue, you've been working on your debut novel, right?" the other side said.

"ah yes, yes!!" Myra replied a little dumbfounded.

That's because she got the call in her personal number.

"Miss Myra, we can help you make your novel better and more popular. If you are interested in collaborating with us please do reply to the email." said Qin Xue

"email?"

"ah, I've send you an email earlier but I didn't get any reply from you."

'What? Email? I was working my ass off finishing my Novel I didn't even have time to take shower since last 3 days how am I suppose to read any email.' Thought Myra.

"Oh, I'm so sorry Miss Qin xue, I was working so I might did not noticed it. I'll read your proposal and reply to you as soon as possible." Myra replied politely.

'My tone was very earnest and pleasant. I know the other party definitely believed that I'm actually gonna reply. But if I think of it again it won't take much time for me to read let's see what rubbish they have come up with.' Myra thought to herself again.

"Sure Miss, you can take your time. Just open the email once." Qin Xue kept convincing Myra.

"yes, yes." Myra gave perfunctory reply before hanging up.

Myra POV

"Phew* what a headache and what was with the last line just open the email once?Ah, are they trying to send some virus through email? Hehe, whatever I had a different phone for email and it's a new one so it won't be a problem right? If there's any problem I'll just report it to cyber crime."

I reached out for the phone in my drawer just to find that it's dead.

"I should put it in charging and take a quick shower la!"

I put the phone on charge before grabbing going for shower.

30 minutes later

After a warm shower, I turned on the phone. I don't know why but since I've received that call I really want to see it... Curiosity.. Might be..

But that moment... I really regretted for a long time. As the saying goes curiosity kills the cat my situation as somewhat same.

I turned on the phone and immediately went to emails. A long list of new email were there.

"Gosh who come I got this many emails in such a small time? Ah whatever I'll just go through them one by one." I thought.

Finally after going through few emails I finally found the email from Qin Xue.

but just as I opened the email suddenly lights started flickering for a minute before turning off.

I went to windows, slightly lifting the curtains before peeking out of the window.

The dreamy sky from before was now surrounded with dark clouds roaring with thunder.

I am not afraid of thunder but I feel like something is off about today's sky. It looks more like an animated sky.

While I was contemplating on sudden changes of environment and electricity and thunder bolt suddenly strike towards me.

"ah"

I screamed as I lost my balance. I closed my eyes in fear, basically expecting a sharp pain from hitting the ground but...

I felt a strong pair of hands around my waist. I slowly opened my left eye peaking around. When a mesmerizing face came into my sight. I opened both of my eyes widely. Carefully looking at the person who appeared in front of me suddenly.

The man had beautiful red Phoenix eyes, chiseled chin and slightly tanned body.

Just, what is going on? Can someone tell me? Please? Mom I don't know what to feel anymore.

"am I that handsome that you can't take your eyes of me?"

The man in front of me threw a bewitching smile and said in a low voice.

Bewildered I turned my head to ignore him But, another shock hit me.

The dark clouds and my room from before are no where to seen. Instead it was replaced by another painting like scene.

A beautiful waterfall was in front of me. Coupled with colorful forest it felt like I came to another world. It was just so beautiful. But soon the muffled male voice once again spoke.

"What you are shy now? Would you like me to carry you to your tent?" the man said in a low muffled voice.

"what tent" I exclaimed widening my eyes. I just can't make out anything from this situation.

" it's dark now, a beautiful lady like you shouldn't be bathing here or do you want something to happen? " he said with a smug on his face.

Listening to his words I just can't make any sense. Until I look down at my own body. It was covered with a thin white muslin instead of my bathrobe. Although, I'm a modern person and don't mind it, like my body is still covered with a cloths it's not like I'm naked but right now I really feel humiliated. It Feels worst than a naked person.

Struggling in his arms I tried to free myself from him it's just that he is too strong to fight against.

" Narcissistic! Scoundrel!" I spat out angrily and I regretted it instantly.

"aah!"

Hearing my words, The man dropped me immediately.

I fall onto the hard ground. I can feel the sharp pain on my butt which I was anticipating few minutes ago.
