she hated her life

Shen Yue, an ugly girl whom everyone despises, they stayed and avoided her like a plague, she really couldn't blame people for always ignoring her. She herself knows that her ugliness was just so unimaginable, sometimes she cursed the gods for giving her such a miserable life. Her parents not only die, she was now living with her uncle which of course stayed away from her as it she would infect him.

His wife was the worst, giving her countless clothes to wash and giving her numerous work to do didn't satisfy her, she just liked seeing shen Yue begging as if it was her fault that she came into the world.

Ever since she was born, there had been a huge scar on her left profile that no matter how she tried to hide it, it just wouldn't escape the eyes of the curious beings. Her right profile was now ruined with marks inflicted on her by her so called- uncle's wife. She really hates her life and wished she could die. she sometimes tries to take her life away but thinking about the pain, she couldn't bear to do it. She just kept having faith, hoping that one day, she would overcome all these.

Wearing her green robe and preparing for the day, she packed her books into her bag and headed out, her uncle's wife saw her going out and didn't even bother to ask her if she had eaten. God knows how the girl's face almost made her puke!.

Shen yue lowered her gaze as she walked among the flowers heading for the imperial college right in front of her, she had lowered her gaze not to attract any unnecessary attention towards herself but as if she never lowered it, other people stood like six metre away from her.

She was already used to this kind of treatment so she doesn't complain, she doesn't even have a friend to whom she can play with, share her secrets with and hug whenever she is feeling down. She was always alone with nobody to care for her, her book had turned into her best friend so any activity or any incident that happened in the day was usually reported to that book of hers.

"C'mon shift your hair away from your face and let me picture your ugliness once again" Came the voice by her side, the guy managed to get closer to her but one thing that he wanted was to torment and make her life a living hell In the college.

His name is Liu Feng, the royal prince, he has dark hair and brown eyes, his lips red like roses that someone would think that he painted it everyday but that was just the way it naturally was. His nose was sharp and pointed his eyebrows dark and thick. He was not only intelligent but handsome and shen Yue just couldn't stand next to him.

"Let go of me please" Shen Yue begged while keeping her voice low so she wouldn't get more attention, Liu feng wasn't willing to stop taunting her, he grabbed her wrist harshly as he pulled her closer to him and shifted her hair away from the left side of her face, seeing it, his lips curved up into a great satisfaction and he started calling the attention of his friends who were known as broadcaster.

One minute everyone gathered around them but kept their distance away at the girl and started laughing out at Liu feng's joke. Shen Yue hated this guy in front of her at the same time has a crush on him, she couldn't bring herself down to tell him because she knew that he would surely insult her and embarrass her.

He would tell his friends and they would laugh about it and tell it to their other friends, and the gossip cycle just kept rotating and it would all be about shen Yue!.

"Bring out your phones and start recording this, it has been a long time since I watched an interesting movie" one of the guy's said as they kept laughing at shen yue's vulnerability. she wouldn't dare to fight with the prince if she doesn't want her butt kicked out of the college.

"Alright, alright, get back to your classes, the teacher should be in the class by now!" Liu Feng ordered and like the prince he was commanding respect from them, they all moved back into their respective classes. Liu Feng let go of shen yue's hand as he wiped his hand with his handkerchief.

"Ugliness can be transmitted, you know?" he said and without waiting for her response, he walked away from her like he doesn't to spend another minute with her, looks like ugliness was seriously a disease that spread like wildfire in this college and no one wanted to contract the disease.

Shen Yue of course, didn't make any comment to that insult, instead being the good girl she is always and having the kindest heart that nobody didn't notice, she shifted her hair to her left side and brought out a mirror to check if it was well covered. This little action of hers didn't escape Liu feng's eyes, as if he had been watching her even when he left and he commented on it.

"Is that a mirror I see in your hand? what are you checking out from that face of yours?" he asked, this guy was the definition of arrogant, rude if not that he was the most handsome in the college and the most intelligent guy. He wouldn't have been noticed.

Shen Yue didn't bother to talk as she dropped the mirror into her sack bag, she wasn't only ugly, she was poor, she could even be seen as the poorest in the college and most of all she was dumb. No matter how she tried to read, it just wasn't easy for her and she had to think that her existence was cursed!
