The Meetup (Part 5)

He'd been standing there like forever. 'When is this guy going to come out,' while grumbling, his eyes checking the time.

"Ah Shit!" He turned around and ran outside the shop. His face was filled with frustration cum desperation.

'Why did I feel like this?' He gripped his chest tight before getting into the car and drove away.

Xuan Li quickly shouted for his father as soon as he got home. He was prepared to wait for a few minutes but his father was so excited he jumped inside the car just after he called his name.

"Dad, aren't you a little bit too old to be excited like this?" Xuan Li laughed. He was really happy to see his father acting like this.

Xuan Ming blushed. Why did he acted like a girl and shamed himself in front of his son? He really wanted to buried his head in the ground right now.

Wanting to escape from his son's teasing, he quickly buckled up the seatbelt and said angrily- (not that it sounded mad though), "Quick! Drive already."

This manner of his only invited more teasing from his son so he quickly shut his mouth and looked away, ignoring his son completely. Seeing his father didn't pay him any attention, he also kept silence and focussed on driving.

A middle age man in suit kept wandering his eyes restlessly through the glass wall. His demeanour really caught the eyes of people especially so since his face was so attractive. His entire being was exuding the aura of superior, making people wonder about his identity.

His glass had been refilled five times already, but the person he was waiting for hadn't arrive yet. 'Am I getting stood up?' his heart fell. 'Nonononononono… positive…positive… maybe he stuck in the traffic. Yeah, that's definitely the reason why…' he tried to calm down.

"Ah!" he subconsciously stood up. He was so nervous his palm had become sweaty. 'He's here. He's here.' His face brightened up.

"Dad, are you sure this is the right place?" Xuan Li asked doubtfully. 'What kind of woman did my father wants to marry?" (-_-|||)

Not like he wanted to complain but this place was really famous for being luxurious- people need to make a reservation first but even the reservation required payment. However, it was still fully booked every day. That's why he was so curious about the identity of this woman.

Xuan Ming nodded. "Yup. He said D'Aurora Restaurant. Come! Let's go already. I'm sure he's been waiting for a long time already." He swiftly grabbed his son's hand and led him inside the restaurant.

Entering the place, Xuan Li's eyes automatically scanned the people in there.

'A single woman, pretty, maybe a little bit high class?' he thought while keep looking for a person fitting his description. 'Oh! Found one.'

"Hmm? Ah Li, where are you going? It's over here." The older man said, pulling the younger one towards the opposite direction.

"Eh? But there's only man there. Maybe she hasn't arrived yet? But dad clearly said she may have been waiting for too long.' He kept contemplating while letting himself dragged by his father.

"Uh…"

'What the heck is this? Why are we standing here? Tell me this is not what I'm thinking right now.' His inside was in total chaos. Nevertheless, he still could keep his composure very well. 'Thanked my lifestyle I guess?' he sighed internally.

Standing beside a handsome man in suit, he said cheerfully, "Ah Li, meet my new love of my life, Mr. Wang Mo."
