1 Chapter 1

Moving into a new town is the most annoying thing ever,I have done it a hundred times.But this time is apparently different. See my parents had a the brilliant idea to send me off to live in a different town while they go on one of their business trips. Normally they would take me with them, but they had the brilliant thought of sending me to live with my mom's sister , aunt Vivi for my senior year. Because apparently I need ' stability ' for my senior year. The only bright side of this is that I get to spend time with my aunt.

Once I got my bags I went and looked for my aunt. After a bit of looking, I stood near the doors and took out my phone to call my aunt to see where she is. "Claire bear." I heard my aunts excited voice from behind me. I turned around and I was instantly engulfed in a hug." I missed you ." I said after we parted, aunt Vivi smiled , "I missed you too, when was the last time I saw you. Last thanksgiving?" she asked. I nodded" Yeah that sounds about right."

"You must be tired. It must have been a long flight. Let's head home, okay?" Auntie asked. I nodded then we went to the car.

Aunt Vivi pulled into the driveway. You expect that I have been here before . But I haven't been here before, since my family and I are are always moving so I never got the chance to come and visit .

Her house was a big home that is stories. Although it's a big house it still looks homey . Here is the thing our family is quite rich , like really rich. My grandpa has a multi businesses all across the world, it went to my dad when he was in his twenties.But that is not only it, he opened his own business when he was 18 . And by the time my grandpa's business was supposed to be passed over to him he had his own successful company. Since my dad is an only child he took over his dad's business and he took care of it alongside his own , eventually he combined both companies and he became one of the most rich people in the states.

Then he married my mom and she also comes from a rich family. After she married my dad she opened her own business and they started travelling to expand their companies and at some time during that they had me . So it's easy to say that my childhood revolved around their businesses. I always had a good relationship with my dad, but me and my mom butted heads quite often but I love her.

Moving on I walked through the door and I was welcomed with the smell of cookies , " I made cookies as a welcome home gift ." Auntie said with a smile. " Let me take you to your room ". Auntie said then led me to the stairs .

We stopped a door and the moment I opened it I saw a big room with big bed. It had light gray walls and I had my own big desk." You have a walk in closet and a master bathroom. I'll leave you to rest." she said then left the room. I put my bags on the floor and went to the bed, I laid on the bed. I slowly felt myself falling asleep. And before long I was fast asleep.

"Claire , honey . Wake up" I heard Auntie say. I groaned then slowly opened my eyes, and I saw my aunt standing beside my bed. I sat up then asked her, "Yes , what is it auntie?". " My friend is over with her kids. Would you mind if you come and greet them. You don't have to if you don't want to though." she asked. "Oh no, it's okay. I just need to freshen up." I said quickly. She nodded and left the room so I can freshen up.

I got out of bed and opened my bag and took my toiletries out , then headed to the bathroom.

After I freshened up and changed into new clothes I went down to the living room. When I reached the living room I saw a woman holding a baby girl that looked about 9 months old and boy with brown hair and blue eyes that looked about my age. "That's my beautiful niece, Claire." Aunt Vivi said. "Hello ma'am pleasure to meet you." I greeted her, "Oh none of that , I'm Alexa and this is my daughter Bella and my son Alec." Alexa said then nudged Alec, he didn't move but when he saw his mom's glare he said" Hey." while glaring at me. "Well I made dinner so everyone come on let's eat." my aunt clapped her hands and everyone went to the dining room.

After dinner we went back to the living room, aunt Vivi and Alexa were talking and I was playing with Bella. Alec was just texting on his phone, finally he got of it and said " I want to meet with my friends.""How about you take Claire with you so she can get to know the town." Alexa said as if she came with the brightest idea. I tried to reject the offer but my aunt quickly agreed"that is a brilliant idea." "no absolutely not, I want to see my friends alone." Alec snapped. Alexa smile quickly turned into a glare " If you don't take her , you're not allowed to go.' she said , "Alexa it's okay , I want to stay here with bella." I tried to say. Alexa quickly got up and took Bella from me, "Nonsense , Alec will take you with him." she demanded. Alec glared at me then said" We're leaving now." before leaving the house.I looked at my aunt but she gave me a look and I just took my phone and followed Alec.

I met Alec outside and he quickly said, "Listen I just took you cause I don't want to make my mom mad.Please refrain yourself from looking stupid in front of my friends." I glared at him, "It's not as if I want to be here with you heck I don't even want to be in this town but I'm forced to so please keep your bad mood to yourself." I snapped. He glared at me and started walking.

I sighed and followed him. This is gonna be a long night........
