Our First Date

Jace's POV

I want Miracle to forget the death threat, even for a while; I tell the other bodyguards that Mira wants to have a pretend dinner with me, we all know the drill if she needs any of us to be her date, we should play the role. Only Charles knew the real score between Miracle and me.

"Jace, why it has always to be you? I think Ms. White really likes you, she just demands to have a supposed date to be with you. This is so unfair." Chris complains to me.

"You can ask her, Chris, if you wish to be Mira's date tonight just tell her, you want to be her date it is simple as that." I pretended not to care.
