638 Ian to the rescue - Part 4

Although it was not the first time Maggie had sat inside a chopper, her actions were still sloppy for she was still in a daze. Ian was doing way more than she had expected and she had no idea what was happening with her. A few moments ago, she was still standing and staring at the gigantic beast that had descended on its designated spot and the next instant, she was sitting beside the pilot while Ian made sure she was securely trapped before he too joined her.

Maggie felt like she was living a dream. After Ian shut the chopper door, the pilot spoke to them but none of the words registered in her mind.

"We will be taking off in three." Maggie heard the blades starting to rotate faster. "Two." The pilot glanced at the two people beside him. "One." And the chopper left the ground.
