9 Chapter 9

As Kanna got inside the car, Reo closed the door right behind her before walking fast towards David. Anger filling his gaze.

"What do you think you're doing?!" David screamed, trying his best to reach the black car, but his men gathered around it, blocking his way.

"I told you to mind your business." Reo said, his gaze was dark... David already knew that the man never liked him in the first place but this was the look he gave to his enemies.

Clearly he disliked him coming around and trying to reach her. Did they reach that stage yet then? Were they already too involved with each other that the idea of him coming around and getting her away from him would put him on his blacklist?

"It is my business! If anything happens to her-

"Shut your mouth"

Shock painting his face David took a few steps back before sighing. He knew what this look on his face meant... he considered Kanna his property now...

It was known that Reo was a very possessive man... he disliked any men going too close to Urie back when she was alive... but you could only tell if you knew him very well.

"I'm not your enemy cousin."

"Oyabun" he corrected, before glaring and gripping his shirt's collar.

"Stop coming around" he ordered

"The woman is in danger around you and you know that better than me. Grand-mother knows her face now, you won't keep her for long and you know it. Just let her go."

"You're not any better. You're also a Kobayashi remember?"

"But I'm not the Oyabun! You have responsibilities! Big ones actually! And Grand-mother would never let you toss them out the window especially if it's because of a woman. She'll deal with her sooner or later and you know that!"

Reo's face turned pale as he slowly took in what he just said. His grand-mother knew about her... that was a very bad thing... Her getting involved in his love life was not rare and she happened to check him a few times in the past about who he shall never bring home. And even though he never actually thought of taking that woman seriously enough to consider that thought, she definitely was the type she would automatically hate. The woman was a journalist... and she happened to do some researches about him... she would see her as a threat.

"Let her go! Why is it so hard for you to do?? You don't even like her !!" David then shouted. He was annoyed.

Then Reo just turned around and walked away.

"Let her go! You're putting the woman in danger god damnit!"

Then he disappeared inside the car and it took off.

As he watched the car get away, David felt helpless. This was getting too complicated... the last time he saw them they barely knew each other... now what?! What the heck happened?

As the car took off, and they both stood there silent, Kanna could hear her heart literally go crazy in her chest. It had been quite long since she had last seen him and now, so suddenly he appeared again... Why was he back? After chasing her away so nonchalantly...

The last few weeks were quite unbearable. She hated the fact that he knew exactly where she stayed at, but still never came around... never even called. Not that he owed him that kind of attention, hell that was not his place of course. But a tiny part was clinging to the slightest hope that he would still come back... that he also thought about her the same way thought about him everyday. It was stupid but she couldn't control it

She realized how much, despite the fact that getting involved with him made her life a whole mess, she selfishly enjoyed the thrill of being around him... She had missed her heart beating so fast that it threatened to leave her chest; She had missed his gorgeous dark gaze staring right through her soul; His little smirk that always, always made a mess of her.

Lost in her thoughts, she did not even realize she was staring at him. Rude.

"What were you doing with him?" He then asked, before she could even curse herself out.

He was looking at her, intently. Something was indeed going on. He seemed quite bothered that David would approach her to warn her about something, speaking of which... how did he even know?

"Do you have your men also follow me around? How did you even know where I was?" She also asked, without ever leaving his gaze.

He frowned, but the next second he sighed, before leaning back in his seat. His voice spitting annoyance:

"I don't need you to die."

The soft look on her face disappeared in seconds, replaced by a cold and angry glare at him.

"You chased me away last time. Didn't you know then, that I might be in danger?"

He threw a quick look at her before leaning closer. She drew back quickly but he still managed to catch her arm and pull her closer to him.

"...You should've never came around... never..." the last word was a whisper...

Their faces insanely close, she already knew her cheeks were scarlet. His breathing on her right cheek, he was leaning closer and closer. Then, he spoke again in a whisper:

"What did he tell you?"

Suddenly feeling incredibly hot, Kanna looked away before trying her best to control her fast breathing, and numb heart.

*He makes me go crazy*

"He said your grand-mother was after me. He wanted to help me get away before it got too messy." She finally admitted.

And next thing, they were face to face, and he was glaring with a mysterious look on his face.

"What." She asked, but he remained of marble, as if he already knew. He definitely knew.

Leaning back in his seat he sighed again with an annoyed tint in his voice.

"You should've stayed in your place." He finally spoke.

"You have the audacity to say that after literally kidnapping me?"

"You should've stayed in your place, as that low payed journalist that only wrote articles about random and irrelevant stuff literally no one payed attention to." He repeated, but this time facing her, to let her know clearly that he was indeed aiming to be offensive.

There we go. He was being a jerk again. Typical... But she couldn't deny how offended she was actually feeling.

"You have some nerve..." she said.

"Yes the fuck I have. Because that's what you should've kept doing. Getting involved with the yakuzas, getting involved with me, that was a very bad, very stupid move of you!"

He was angry, she could tell, but she didn't care one bit. Looking his way, her eyes defying his, she lost it.

"Oh really?! Was it?! And why the fuck are you here then?!"

He was silent so she continued:

"You can't just kidnap me then chase me away and then take me back as you please! I'm not a fucking object! I never asked for this! You gave me a warning and I was about to leave it alone, then what fucking happened?! My whole house and work are taken away from me! And you want me to think that it's my fault?!" She was screaming, she was mad, and usually when it got there, she couldn't control her tears. They were running down her cheeks, ruining her make-up.

Strangely, Reo was taking in everything, every word. He wasn't frowning, he wasn't glaring or annoyed... just kind of surprised to realize how much this woman's life had changed after coming across his...

Few minutes passed, the car was riding in silence. He could hear her panting and trying hard to calm down. And when she finally did he then spoke:

"She will destroy you."

She raised her head quickly before staring at him, in shock.

"Why would she ever?!"

"Because you're a woman. And you're in my life..."

"In what way am I in your life? We are not even seeing each other, you payed the apartment because it was your own fault I lost mine. And I was planning on leaving as soon as I got enough cash anyway."

"Do you think she cares about the details?"

She hated to admit it but by the way David was talking about her earlier or the way Reo seemed to be so disturbed, she could tell underestimating that woman would be stupid and suicidal.

Let us not forget what his family was known for. And who he actually was... he was the Oyabun... not only was he a Yakuza, he was also quite the most powerful one in all Japan. So obviously with all this notoriety, women were obviously lining up to be his. And his grand-mother was the one who shall decide whom that would be.

She was feeling a tint disappointed by this realization but managed to brush it off. It was a bad idea to get involved with him, he was right... From the start it was a bad idea. And now he was weirdly trying to get her out of his mess, she shall do just that.

"So what now? You're just going to deliver me to your grand-mother so she can do what she wants ?" She asked, sarcasm heavy in her tone.

He threw a quick glance at her, probably annoyed by the sarcasm in her voice, but she didn't care.

"She should never meet you."

"So where" She asked again, curious. Already guessing where.

He didn't answer so she tried to guess.

Glaring hard at him, she almost laughed.

"I'm not leaving the city... "

Then the car stopped and his man got out suddenly and Reo turned his face to face her.

"What is going on?" She asked, quite scared by the fact that they were suddenly alone in the car. The windows were too dark, she couldn't see where they were. What was happening.

And after staring hard at her for far too long, he then spoke.

"Your choice."

"What?!"

"Your choice if you want to get away from me now or stay woman."

His voice was serious, and as he was staring right at her brown eyes, she then realized how close he was to her face. His hair in his usual bun, but some locks we're on his face. His breathing was normal but she could tell by the flames in his eyes that the question was crucial. Her answer would categorize their relationship.

Getting nervous, Kanna could feel her hands shaking and her breathing embarrassingly loud.

And while remembering how the last few weeks went by she couldn't help but feel trapped.

She would lay in bed all day, thinking about him. What he could be possibly doing... if he actually cared about her... she thought of calling that annoying chauffeur and ask to speak to him but fought and resisted.

Ever since they crossed path the worst had happened to her. She wasn't the same. She didn't miss that ambitious and boring lifestyle as a journalist, the slightest.

She found herself attracted to him, his lifestyle, everything about him was just drawing her closer and closer.

She knew... even the first time she met him, she knew that he would make a mess of her life. And now that she didn't have anything to lose... instead of walking away and protecting her little heart... she just wanted to throw it right at him. Take it... take it all

When she regained consciousness of the situation, he was insanely close, his nose touching hers and his almond eyes looking down at hers... he wasn't smirking or anything... his face was sort of "neutral" but she could tell by the electricity in the air and the way he was now staring at her lips, that he wanted her. Yes, he wanted her whole, as much as she wanted to give herself to him.

It would be a stupid thing to do... but she spent too much time away from him... missing him and regretting so much not kissing him when she could...

"So?" He whispered, his large right hand reaching down for her cheek, then fondling it.

At the contact, she closed her eyes... feeling overwhelmed by a river of emotions and hormones... she knew if she opened her eyes again... she would jump and kiss him... but it had to come from him... she had to know that he wanted this as much as she did.

"I have nothing to lose anymore..."

"You do... your life..." he corrected.

She then opened her eyes, realizing it was true. Getting involved with him was dangerous and yes she could possibly lose her life...

"So then... should I walk away?" She asked, staring at his pink lips, hard.

"You should."

"Yeah..."

And after that, her lips were on his. She didn't even know who crossed that line... but she was happy they did.

Before even realizing, she was on his lap, her legs parted on each side of his thighs. His hands were respectively sliding down her back and the other in her hair.

The kiss was soft and wild. Their heated tongues fighting for dominance. You could tell they had been holding it in for far too long.

Eyes closed, Kanna was loving it. He was a good kisser, and his hand sliding down her back and gripping her ass awoke her hormones, it was getting too hot.

He was licking, biting, pecking her lips while she was left there moaning, loving it. Every second of it.

After a few minutes, realizing air leaving her lungs, she stopped the kiss. Her breathing was heavy, loud and clear.

Slowly opening her eyes, she then realized he was still looking at her... it was impossible to tell his thoughts. But his breathing was also irregular. Fire still in his eyes, his hand still on her thigh while the other was on her leg.

"I-

She didn't even know what to say... the mood was obvious. They both wanted to go further... but she was scared... she still didn't know how to qualify their relationship. And she would be damned to give her whole to him, when it was clear to be a bad idea from the start.

But as she was lost in her thoughts again, the grip behind her back tightened, drawing her attention back to him. And when she tried to lock her eyes again with his, his lips were on her again. But this time it was wilder. His hands were everywhere, her moaning got louder while she felt him lay her down on the seat. On top of her, his hands were on both her legs, sliding up her blue office skirt. He was still kissing her, his tongue caressing hers again and again, then he was in her neck biting and licking it...

It was too much, she was panting loudly, her hands in his hair while he was leaning back to her face... she threw a quick glance at him, curious.

It was quite dark, but she could tell he was staring at her... looking to say the least. Curiously his gaze was soft... he was enjoying.

"What do you want, woman?" He suddenly asked, his eyes on hers. He was serious again...

Looking away, Kanna felt trapped... it was hard... She knew exactly what she wanted... but it was a very bad choice, and she might end up regretting it... and there was nothing she hated more than remorse...

But she also couldn't deny how crazy she was over this man... she wanted all of it...

And that was exactly what it was: All of it or nothing.

"So?" He repeated, as he leaned down, closer to her face, his nose on her cheek, never leaving her gaze.

She then sighed, or moaned... it sounded just alike... next thing known, she was cupping his face and kissing him again.

He was smirking, this same evil smile on his face, victorious.

"All of it then?" He asked while kissing her... her eyes were closed, enjoying, while his were bright open scanning her every movements.

"All of it." She answered, in a whisper. But he heard it. Loud and clear. He won, she was his, she wanted all of it. It didn't matter the aftermath right now...

So then he kissed her again, and again, and again, and again. His hands were everywhere. And as she was moaning and fighting against her boiling hormones, he reached for her ear and whispered:

"Welcome in hell."

Opening her eyes slowly, the first thing facing her was his beautiful devilish smirk, and she thought maybe hell wasn't too bad after all.
