3 This World Doesn't have Spiritual Energy?

After Akane had left the room Xuan Ren Ryu started inspecting his body again, this time Xuan Ren Ryu understood the gist of the body, so he didn't try to fix the body but continued cultivating, trying to sense the Spiritual energy in the air.

No matter how hard he tried, he was unable to sense the Spiritual energy in the air. Xuan Ren Ryu gave up on sensing the Spiritual energy. Looks like there was no spiritual energy in this world.

"If there was no spiritual energy then I won't be able to cultivate, I need to search for another way to cultivate or I won't be able to cultivate anymore." Thought Xuan Ren Ryu.

Xuan Ren Ryu spent 15-20 minutes and thought about spiritual fruits, spiritual artifacts, other items related to spiritual energy but soon gave up, "If there was no spiritual energy then from where did these spiritual fruits, other spiritual items pop out from?" Xuan Ren Ryu felt ridiculous for wasting time thinking about this nonsense.

"I need to fix my brain cells before thinking about cultivation otherwise I will waste my time again."

Since he can't use spiritual energy Xuan Ren Ryu used his mental strength exhausting his soul power to fix the meat paste like brain cells, he slowly sent his mental energy into the deflated brain cells to inflate them back. Otherwise, there won't be enough blood circulation in the damaged part resulting in the side effects like slow reaction, thinking,...

The moment the mental energy touched the inner parts of his small brain, he felt a pang like pain behind the back of his head.

Xuan Ren Ryu endured the pain, continued working on the brain cells. After three minutes, he completely exhausted his soul energy and started panting heavily.

Out of Reflex, Xuan Ren Ryu immediately cross-legged to meditate in hopes of recovering his soul energy.

"Sigh, Xuan Ren's personality was too stronger than Xuan Ryu. I should control my self from giving in to Xuan Ren's old habits or I will become another Xuan Ren. Now I am Xuan Ren Ryu, not Ren or Ryu, I am the both of them combined and I won't pick one, discarding the another." Xuan Ren Ryu said with determination.

After he determined himself, Xuan Ren Ryu went out of his room towards the hall to relax by watching his favorite anime.

"Even though this is a Magic World, most of the basics were similar to the Legendary Planet Earth!"

Akane sat on the chair doing her homework.

Xuan Ren Ryu saw Akane doing her homework and asked her "Doing your homework?"

Akane heard Xuan Ren Ryu's voice, so she looked at him and shook her head in rejection, "Brother? Why did you come out? I am writing a theory on magic, my very own hypothesis."

"Hypothesis on magic? I don't think I can break through to level-2 so good luck." Replied Xuan Ren Ryu.

"Don't say that brother. You will definitely make a breakthrough and I believe in you." Akane replied with a smile on her face.

"You didn't tell me, why you came out of your room instead of taking rest," asked Akane.

"I felt bored, so I came out to watch some anime." Said Xuan Ren Ryu.

"Wait! I'm done studying so let's watch together." Replied Akane.

Xuan Ren Ryu nodded his head and said: "Hehe, I am going to watch anime with the Academy's top beauty, I wonder how your fans will feel if they knew it."

Xuan Ren Ryu teased Akane, making her blush.

"Why don't you tell them?" Akane countered him.

If it's the old Xuan Ryu then he will be scared and reply, "No thank you,"

Xuan Ren Ryu replied, "Sure, Why not?"
