29 Problems.

It has been a rough time for me since I have left the Founder's Grave. Traveling over forty three hundred kilometers is not a joke.

Normally that would take a little over a month to traverse by foot, about thirty seven days.

This trip cost me two agonizing weeks of absolute hell.

It only took me two weeks due to me not sleeping and constantly using my top speed and high vitality I got from the purer Uzumaki bloodline.

In this timeframe I also managed to find out that I was able to use all Imperial Arms, it is just that I'am forced with having to endure twice the amount of backlash that is normally fixed with the Arm.

If I were to have Esdeath's Imperial Arm, then the voices in my head would be twice in amount and volume. For the mental energy cost of controlling Incursio would double and so on and so forth.

The Arms I managed to grab actually have a high affinity, except for Seraphim Hand: Piercer; this one refuses to acknowledge me. I assume that this one is because all the previous owners were beautiful woman and due to me not wanting to get a sex change I decided to keep it in storage.

Death's Herald: Executioner, this one and I managed to get along after I cut down a herd of twenty two Third Class Danger Beast known as Rage Cow/Bull. Gaining me a total of 11,000FC.

With this I purchased a decent tent to camp that instantly pops up, costing me around only 1000FC. Quite cheap for such a great product. I also bought a gun, or more accurately a Desert Tech HTI and this one just so happens to be used with .50 BMG rounds. Bought this lovely Rifle for 1200FC and 1000 Rounds for 100FC.

The camp kept me nice and comfortable while I took a nap once every two days for an hour and it also provided a grill to cook the meat I hunted. The rifle helped me level my Gun Arts Skill a little as I did a good bit of hunting along the way. Killing off the weak of the Rage Cow/Bull Herd that I completely decimated along the way, can't kill all of them as they will get wild and out of hand if I allow them to surround me..

--------------------------------------------------

In the time it took me traverse the continent from the Tomb of the Founder to the Wasteland Battlefield I had the clone I left behind set off on a mission that will take several months.

The mission was the scouting of the surrounding forest, I was to document the areas where it is possible to spot and find herds of Danger Beast for future hunting and avoiding.

That information was already in Rongo Rongo so reporting back in several months will be a cinch. Once the hunters of the surrounding villages get their hands on it, I can expect a drop in the population of Danger Beast from all over.

But now that I'am nearing the Wasteland Battlefield I have a feeling that this is not going to be near as easy as the Tomb of the Founder, though it was a bit annoying. In fact, now that I listen carefully the sounds of footsteps can be heard in the distance.

While listening in, it seems to be only a small squad of humans though; I don't know any details beyond that as it is all I can hear.

Being wary of my surroundings I leave the final patch of forest, from here I make my way forward without the precious cover of the trees.

With my newly found vulnerability of being seen from all directions, I march forward; to the Wasteland Battlefield. Observing my surrounding I spot the people who were making the footsteps at a distance of roughly twenty two hundred meters.

After confirming that they are the ones who decided to come and disturb my job, I have decided to either get rid of them or have them work for me; not with me.

The unit seemed to be of a militaristic standing rather than a group of wanders or adventurers. They seemed organized, though small in number at only a group of eight.

And just like I wanted, they didn't spot me, completely unaware of my presence. This is only because the back of the group didn't turn around to spot me, this was a signal to me that they are preparing to set up camp soon and so he sees no reason as to keep watch when the surroundings seem safe enough.

But I must say that I whole heartedly agree with him, no reason at all to look back at all. Saves me the trouble and you the pain of having a metal bullet fly through your skull.

They must either be amateurs, a newly formed group, or are just plain arrogant.

Either way, today they die or become slaves. I personally prefer the second option, as they can be useful.

Opening up the Shop interface, I typed in the key word (Slave) and many options popped up in response.

[Slave Collar… 50FC Each.]

[Slavery Explosive Collar(One Piece)… 350FC Each.]

[Magic Slavery Collar(Death March)… 10,000FC Each.]

…Etc.

Each of them could be used on different people/beings. For the Strong the Magic Slavery Collar is needed, but for ordinary people the Slave Collar is all I will need and if somebody is in between then the Explosive Collar is what is suggested.

So now I must only wait it out and I will strike as the moon lingers overhead.

------------------------------------

Sure, something doesn't feel entirely right. But it is now or never, I can tell that as soon as the sun comes up this group will head into the Wasteland Battlefield.

Though the reason is still unclear.

Both on the half of why I feel something is off and the fact that we all are going in the same direction.

So now that the moon hang high in the sky, I decided to move forward with my shitty plan I just mashed together and go on in.

As I approached the camp from the south I left a space of fifty meters between us, I gazed in with the Sharingan at full power, being able to clearly see into the camp I discovered something was off.

The camp was a little more active than I thought it would be and this showed me just how childish these people are, I've lost all respect for them as a fellow warrior.

And now they must learn their lesson.

With but a single hand sign I use the Henge no Jutsu, turning me into a different looking person. I have taken on the look of Fire Fist Ace. And so I approached.

As I made my way to their encampment, they noticed me and quickly made moves so as to prepare for my arrival. Unknowing of their soon to be fate.

Now as I made my way into the camp, I raised the hat on my hand with a single finger and smile on my face. That soon disappeared as I gazed upon the familiar figure in front of me, it was…

"Najenda? I didn't expect to see you in this backwater place, might I know the reason?"

It was a beautiful and captivating woman with silver hair and a pair of glistening eyes. She has yet to leave the Empire for the Revolutionist and therefore she isn't wearing her eyepatch or metallic arm.

But let me tell you, she was surprised as to see a new face now her name.

"Who are you? I have never seen your face before, I suggest that you speak now or become a corpse."

Looking deep into her eyes. I said…

"You can call me, Fire Fist Ace. Just Ace if that don't strike your fancy."

And so now I know that this mission will be troublesome.
