29 Time to say your goodbyes...

Shadow, Atsuhiro, Kuro and Kiyoshi stood in front of Reo with Shadow in the middle while Atsuhiro and Kiyoshi stood by his side at a distance, summoning the last bits of energy they had left in their body. Kuro stood between the three and Reo as Evelyn made her way towards Reo's back.

The dragon spirits returned to the guardians and shrunk back into their Soul gears as they held their ground firmly.

"Prosfero..." Izumi placed her palm on Reo's back as she chanted the word slowly.

All of a sudden, the royal palace of Tristina burst out Colossal amounts of pure energy shaking the entire city as it beamed up and engulfed the whole palace. The energy twisted and turned as it sped towards Evelyn.

The energy that sped to Evelyn, entered her body in a rush. The amount of energy that was entering her body would rip her apart, but she wasn't going to store that energy in her. Evelyn was only an intermediary to help transfer the energy at a constant pace to Reo. A stream of energy flowed into Reo from Evelyn's palm.

The Demon Kings grasped what Reo meant by 'Time to meet my end'. "Don't let the divine guardian completely absorb the energy....!!!" The 1st Demon King, Yasha Helios roared as he sped towards Reo only to clash with Shadow's sword in mid air.

Shadow pushed Yasha back as he struck his sword to the ground. Shadow landed on his sword and clasped his hands together with a loud 'Bang' as he stood on the sword. Atsuhiro and Kiyoshi followed Shadow's gestures accurately.

"CLYPEUS DIVIE...!!!" Shadow and the other two shouted in unison as they let go of their clasped hands with a swift cut to the air which resulted in an energy barrier around the Demon Kings and their armies. The barrier had three layers, two layers of pure energy which were joined to each other and one with dark energy which was the last line of defence and was a few meters away from the other two.

The Demon Kings were furious at the thought that there was a possibility that they would be sealed away again if the situation prevailed any longer. They attacked the barrier together as barbarically as they could. Atsuhiro and Kiyoshi fell to their knees as they struggled to hold the barrier. Kuro and Shadow were made up of dark energy which meant that they couldn't back up or transfer any energy to Atsuhiro or Kiyoshi.

As Kiyoshi and Atsuhiro held the barrier, Reo's aura was undergoing tremendous changes. Reo's Soul gear converged back into one long sword. The skin tone of Reo became brighter and brighter with each passing minute. Reo's eyes turned golden as bue sparks started to appear all around his body.

The two layered barrier broke after the both held out for five and a half minutes. The burden of holding the barrier for the next few minutes fell entirely on Shadow's shoulders. As Shadow trembled to hold the barrier, energy started transferring into him from the back, it was Kuro who was providing him with energy.

Atsuhiro and Kiyoshi panted heavily as they looked at each other. It was after three and a half minutes that Shadow's barrier broke. The Demon Kings dashed towards Reo and Izumi desperately. Shadow and the others took many hits and slashes to their bodies as they tried their best to stop the Demon Kings. The armies weren't able to come near Reo as they couldn't bear the pure energy around him.

"Time for you to sleep...!" Yasha Helios along with the third and the fifth Demon Kings bolted towards Reo as they found an opening to close in. Shadow and Kuro immediately blocked Yasha but couldn't stop the third and the fifth Demon King. Atsuhiko dashed between Reo and the speeding Demon Kings as he held his Soul gear-Long Sword horizontally in a hope to block the incoming Demon Swords which were about to slash Reo.

The Demon Swords were as strong as the Soul Swords which were being strengthened by the guardians energies for centuries, they were forged 210 years ago by the Master Smiths of that time. But even though they were very powerful, they wouldn't be able to stop two Demon Swords as they were deprived of energy as well..

'CRACKKK!!!' Atsuhiro's Soul Sword shattered into pieces as the Demon Swords slashed his body to leave an X-shaped scar on his body. The 1st dragon sped out of the broken Soul Sword towards the sky as he repelled the Demon Kings to a distance as he was forcefully ejected out of the Soul sword.

"Go...I can no longer contain you inside me...you cannot be eaten away by darkness too...goodbye..!" Those were the last words of Atsuhiro as he fell to the ground. The 1st dragon spirit knew that his survival was very important for the future of the world. He sped away into the clouds and disappeared as he rushed towards his resting place.

Everyone present there wanted to come rushing towards Atsuhiro, their hearts were racing and aching as they saw him, but they couldn't. One wrong step would end the world and leave it engulfed in darkness forever, so the others continued holding the DKs back with a heavy heart.

Even after nine and a half minutes, the Shadow was in no position to withdraw from his spot, it was more like he couldn't. As if the thundering clouds cleared or a violent ocean calmed down, the atmosphere suddenly fell silent as a ring of energy surged through the city.

"Time to say your goodbyes..." A slow voice escaped Reo's mouth as Evelyn fell to her knees after being exhausted of transferring that tremendous amount of energy into Reo. She had no energy left as she gave her remaining energy as well to Reo.

Reo no longer looked like a normal human, veins were popping up on his body as his skin and hair turned snow white as golden energy hovered over all of his body. His body and his Soul Sword were beaming with pure energy as his eyes were covered with a golden energy layer. He looked as if he was about to explode from the tremendous amounts of energy within him.

"FINAL LIGHT...DIVINITY'S RAGE!!!!" A wave of pure energy exploded out of Reo's sword as he slashed the space in front of him. The wave of pure energy successfully engulfed the Demon Kings except the 2nd Demon King who escaped as he kicked the 6th Demon King in the opposite direction which gained him enough momentum to escape the wave's engulfment. Shadow and Kuro intercepted the 2nd Demon King who tried to approach Reo.

"THE ARMIES...!" The Divine dragon sped out of his Soul sword as it radiated bright golden energy after absorbing a lot of energy from the Soul Sword "Leave it to me, Reo...!" the Divine dragon sped towards the Demon Armies and emitted all its energy as it circled around in the sky.

"It is going to be your end..!" Yasha Helios exclaimed as he struggled against the wave of energy that the Demon Kings were trapped in.

"Yes..it is going to be my end...But if I am going to go down...it is only going to be after I seal you all up...!" Reo shouted as he riled up the rest of his energy to deal his last card against the Demon Kings and finish this once and for all.
