12 Loyalty

From the left corner of the room, a tall and ordinary looking man can be seen putting his hand before his mouth trying to stop the laughter that was threatening to come out. If someone were to see him, they would be confused and surprised beyond belief, they would be full of questions such as, 'who is this man? I swear to God I didn't see anyone other than the young lady sitting on a chair while elegantly sipping her tea, how can there be suddenly a person over there?' However, the two women especially Ye Su was already used to this, so there was no expression other than an annoyance on her face. Velove Vladimir, on the other hand, was a different case, she could easily sense his presence anywhere and anytime.

"Forgive me for disturbing your time, young miss, but one member of the council is present in the building at this moment. If he were to see you here, this could be a hindrance to your plan, young miss." Ye Si knelt down with one knee beside his comrade, Ye Su. His tone changes drastically from the playful one to serious.

"It's my lord, to you!" Ye Su glared at the kneeling man beside her.

"One of us, need to have a bigger heart to always remind our young lord here, that she's a lady" Ye Si glaring back at Ye Su, refused to back down.

"It's fine Ye Su, I don't mind. This is good for the appearance in front of those common people anyway." Seeing the duo bickering habit was starting, Velove could only sigh.

Velove stared at the spot where the papers were just burnt, she especially looked so deep in thought. After a while, her mesmerising amethyst eyes were flashed with light. The corner of her mouth was lifted seductively, showing her white little canine teeth.

"This actually works in my favour." Velove stood up from her chair, then walked to the window who showed her the view of the front entrance of the building. She could clearly see every person who just arrived or left.

Looking at her straight and strong back, Ye Si and Ye Su felt a great heartache for their master, because no matter how strong and powerful their master was, she was just an eighteen-year-old girl. Her strong and enchanting figure always emitted that heart-wrenching sadness and loneliness ever since she was just a child. Although she never told them her goals behind all these grand and peerless plans, they swore they would do it with everything they've got.

They remembered the first time they were brought to her by her father, the Head of Vladimir family, Victor Van Vladimir. Velove seemed like she didn't mind those two presences, she kept reading her book, and after a good 30 minutes, she closed the book then finally looked at them who stood very still with their hands behind their backs. She then walked back and forth, in front of them when she suddenly asked very bending mind questions, "Do you believe in reincarnation? Do you ever think that one of the reasons we can't detect any life force in the universe is because we are the isolated one? Tell me, if you were to choose between the love of your life or your family, which one will you choose? Or if I were to tell you to kill many people, are you going to question my command or are you going to obey them without question? To be honest, I still have many irrelevant and unimportant questions that might sound ludicrous, but for now, you just have to answer my last question." The little Velove finally looked at her two new subordinates with the tinkling of curiosity in her eyes.

Ye Si answered her without any doubt or hesitation, "We are chosen to be your left and right hand, my lady. Should you tell us to kill, then we will kill and obey your every order without question. Should you tell us to put a dagger into our hearts, we will gladly do so."

Ye Su, also said the same answer as him.

Velove Vladimir smiled when she heard their answer, but her beautiful eyes were a bit dimming.

"I am truly flattered hearing your answers, but I can't help but feel complicated now, I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but as your master, I only want for the two of you to be loyal only to me. This, though I don't go into details, you know what I mean right?" Her voice turned very frosty in the last sentence.

Ye Si and Ye Su, startled when they heard her. But they completely understand her meaning. They firmly nodded their heads in unison said "Yes!'
