The present day...

[Cassandra's POV]

My name is Cassandra Sphinx, Kinsley.

Daughter of Evie Aurora and Xander Helio. The Last Endured Oracle of the Prophecies.

...

It's a beautiful morning with bright light falling on her room through out the curtains. The sound of birds can be heard in the bedroom from the balcony. Cassandra woke up from her bed, stretching her arms before walking out to prepare. As she went to wash her face, she then felt weary.

She had a dream last night, and by looking at her, it must be a terrible one. Slowly she walks toward the balcony and opened the door, embracing herself as the cool breeze of air blowed her hair.

Her golden brown hair swayed as the breeze played to it, her pink tourmaline eyes opens with glittering shades. Her thin pinky rose lips parted as she let it a sigh before turning back on her bedroom.

She took a deep breath from the chilling air, after a few moments she went back inside as she picked up her school bag. Then, with a tip-toes she went to the dining room to eat her breakfast. Cassandra sat up as the maids laid the foods on the big long table, her eyes sparkles as she saw the foods been served. With an excited look, she inhaled the sweet scent coming from the food, savoring the smell of fresh and delicious dishes. Later on, after she had finished her meal she took her bag and headed to the living room where the other servants and maid had been waiting.

"Good morning Milady" greeted the servants in unison while bowing their heads to Cassandra. Cassandra took a single step and waved her hands, signaling them to lift up their heads now.

"Good morning. I'll be heading off to school, please take care of the house" Cassandra said with a smile, she glanced at the maids and butler who stood there.

"At your service, Milady". They all said in unison as they watched her walking to the front door.

"Ohh, right. I almost forgot to tell you, please inform Lady Selene that I had took it. And remember to feed it when I'm not here, I will be counting to you all" she turned back her and told them, assuring something before she proceeds. They bowed and responded surely to her, before she bid goodbyes leaving the house.

The driver, John opened the car for Cassandra while bowing his head and hands placed on his chest. When she had walked in, he closed the door before leaving the mansion's gate. He drove her to the 'MONOVA University' which was her school she'd been studying. After a while, They entered the school entrance gate and John opened the car door.

"Have a good day, Milady". John said before closing the car, John handed her bag before leaving in the gates. On her way to her classroom, a sudden loud voice called her from behind, greeting everyone.

"Goooood Morning, Cass!!!" exclaimed the ponytailed girl, her sky blue hair swayed left to right as she approached Cassandra holding a box of documents. Everyone around had heard her voice but didn't seem to pay attention to it, after all it was her habit.

"You too. You seem so hyped up today too, huh" Cassandra said, glancing at her with a smile on her face. She was Ella Ferradir, a member of the student council and Cassandras energetic Junior. While walking, the both chatted each other.

"Cassy, The other group is going for a road trip this coming week. Are you planning to join them?" Ella asked, her eyes visibly sparkling.

For a moment, Cassandra rubbed her temples as she replied unsure. "I don't know, maybe yes or not" murmured Cassandra, her eyes were little disappointed.

"Same as here, I actually was planning to go but due to the upcoming autumn. The student council has pretty gotten busy, preparing for the cultural festival. Hah~ How frustrating. I wish I could go too" Ella responded with a heavy sigh, because of the work pulling up she wasn't able to go for a summer trip. Ella lowered her head in disappointment, she really want to relax yet she was so busy on the student council that she has no time to school trips or even a break.

"Class is starting soon, you should probably hurry before you get late " Ella said looking at her wrist watch, her blue eyes staring worriedly at the watch. On the other side, Cassandra who seems to have not clearly heard Ella turned to Ella.

"The class will start any minute now, you should hurry" Ella uttered when she saw how Cassandra reacted. Ella was Cassandra's junior, though they are likely school mate but Ella had more position than Cassandra. As a student council member, it was her duty to take care of the students and paper works on school. Though she might have been really busy but she always had a jolly spirit and warming attitude which made her look cool.

"Then I'll head now, see ya later" Cassandra replied, waving her hands towards Ella before walking towards the opposite way. Looking at Cassandra's back, Ella frowned upon herself before taking her step to the opposite direction.

After the class, the bell rang as everyone gathered in the canteen to have their meal. The voices of everyone chatting could be heard when you enter the hall, groups of boys and girl sitting on each tables as they gather, it sure was always as lively as ever.

While Cassandra was looking for a seat, she found Charlotte and the other's which was also her schoolmates gathering in one big table. When she looked around and didn't find any vacant seat, she frowned and looked back to where Charlotte and the other was. She strode towards Charlotte and sat next to her, placing her tray of food on the table.

"Cass, the summer camp is on the way. Shall we go?" Charlotte started with a smile of excitement. Her eyes wondered as if to favour her bestfriend to go with her, but she didn't expect she would actually turn her down.

"Sorry, I can't " Cassandra muttered and starts to eat her meal before it gets cold. She blew her brewed coffee and sipped it, savoring the bland taste of the black coffee.

"Nahh, your just turning me down not because your busy but you are heading somewhere, weren't you?" Charlotte said pouting her cheeks ss she crossed her arms while glancing at Cassandra.

"I have my own plans, and so do you" uttered Cassandra as she looked at Charlotte who puffed her cheek.

"Not you two again" on the opposite direction, Amarie commented turning her eyes towards the two who was glancing eachother. The Spring was over and Summer is coming in which many things will bloom. Amarie frowned giving a little cold blood to Charlotte and Cassandra.

"Yeah yeah, you should stop. This isn't something to fight over" another girl, which has a short silver hair and bright green eyes said. She is Lashley Turner, one of Cassandra's great friends.

"We all have our plans, aren't we? Can we discuss this after we atel? It will take sometime before we could settle our plans" replied Lilyan Saville. She has light pink hair, and candle-like eyes that warms you with a single glance.

"I having a weekend with my grandparents, so I can't come with you" Cassandra said finaly, she finished her meal and her coffee as she wiped her lips. Her pink tourmaline eyes glanced at Lilyan who likely have the jollynes on her.

"Well, I'm going for a trip in Geneva. So it's a no" Lilyan muttered after she finished her meal. When she mentioned Geneva, they all shifted their eyes to her so if she said something likable.

"So, who will you be with?" asked Amarie, she held her hands on her cheeks and look to her side. Her eyes was filled with thoughts that Lilyan couldn't even guess what she was thinking.

"Well, I'm just going to visit my hometown. There's nothing special about it" replied Lilyan, her hands played on the table.

"Hmm... I wonder what hot you to visit that place when you even said you won't go back. Surprising..." Lasheley said as her thumbs laid on her cheeks, wondering with a teasing smile.

"Cassandra, your going back to Verona, right?. Mind if I accompany you on the way?" Lilyan uttered as she glanced at Cassandra who was listening to them, she quickly changed the topic before anyone else's could get the answer.

"Uhmm, Sure you can" Cassandra replied, her brows knitting as she glanced at Lilyan who was sweating coldly.

"Great! I shall prepare for the departure" told Lilyan excitedly at Cassandra, her smile brighten after hearing it. She then stood up and walked towards the counter before coming back to her seat.

"So... " they looked at Lilyan as they all sad in unsion
