8 The Longest night and the reunion

Midnight

Wendy struggled to get as many people healed as possible. She was running out of mana and was about to get to Erza when she saw Ichigo walk over and try to help Erza as much as possible. Erza was surprised about how much control he had but didnt think about it to much. "I dont know how effective my healing will be with how much energy Ive used up so please be careful." She said. "How about I help then." A voice said behind her. She looked behind her to see a soul reaper with black hair and a blue sash around his chest. "HINATORO!!!! How did you get here?" Rukia exclaimed in excitement. "Did liuetenant Matsumoto not tell you? We made a Senkimon to get to this world a few days ago." Hinatoro said. At this Toshiro turned and yelled out "Rangiku!!!!" She in turn began to try and run and hide from her captains rath. She ultimatley failed and began to be lectured by him and many of the rescue crew.

Ichigo and Hinatoro got Erza into a position a little more comfortable on a stretcher and Hinatoro began healing her. Wendy for her part watched in amazement at how quickly Erza was healed. "Now you still need to be careful. I did heal you but you are still weak from the explotion." Hinatoro said. Erza lightly grunted as she tried to shift postions, however Ichigo after sheathing his shorter Zangetsu put his hand lightly on her shoulder.

This caused her to stop and look up at him. His look was a reasuring one. His eyes were just as captivating as before. Her heart started to speed up and a light blush formed. "Everything is gonna be alright." Ichigo said. Even with the Horn and other hollowfication parts his words still caused her to relax. She could tell he was in control. He wasnt going to go on a rampage like before.

Kurosaki Clenic Karakuta Town

Early morning

Ichigo and Mira sat in the living room of the clenic/house. Ichigo decided to have her and Erza stay at his home on Earth as to make sure no other suprise attacks would happen. Ishhin for his part was his usual self that night. Though after hearing what happened he did allow the three to stay there.

The house was currently quiet with only Ichigo and Mira being awake. "Your world is so different from ours. I cant even figure out what half of the stuff is here." Mira said in amazement. Ichigo chuckled at her statement. "Yeah thats what I thought about when I first came to Earthland. Though after a little bit I got used to it." He said. This caused Mira to smile. She was trying to get her mind off what happened the night before. Though it was proving to be rather difficult due to the fact that she so clearly remembered the man that caused all that damage. His face looked so menacing that it still sent chills down her spine.

A knock came from the door. Ichigo stood up and saw the rest of the strongest team in Fairytail outside the door and opened it. "Hey guys, come on in." He said. Soon the group walked in and after some small chat they soon moved to where Mira was at and sat around the room.

Ichigo almost made it back to his seat when all of the sudden a certain someone tried a sneak attack on him. "GOOD MORNING ICHIGO!!!!" from the other room Ishhin jumped out with his right leg extended aiming for Ichigo's head. Ichigo dodged and gave a right hook straight towards his fathers head. The fist landed and set him flying into the kitchen. There was a loud crash and grunting as Ishhin landed. Mira was wide eyed along with Lucy and Wendy. The rest were equally shocked but kept the reaction inward. 'He wasnt lieing when he said that his dad tried to beat him up all tye time.' Natsu thought. Ishhin then looked around and saw the rest of the group tahy was in the room. They all had the same mark as Erza and Mira sobhe knew he could trust them. Though there was one matter that had to be addressed. "You with the black hair, where the hell are your clothes!" He shouted at Grey. Grey looked down to see that he was once again in his boxers. He quickly then found the rest of the outfit he was wearing and put it back on. Ichigo gave a look telling his father that this would not be the last time it would happen. At this Ishhin scrached his head for a second and groaned at the thought before he looked back at the rest of the group and introduced him self.

He next went on about his beutiful daughters and as if on cue they also came down stairs. The entire group began chating giving Ichigo the chance to sneak out. His phone that Kiskue gave him was going off and he could sense the hollow near by.

As he shut the door and switched into his soul form he turned back to look through the glass door.

Everyone seemed happy, which was good. However he did not. What happened that night he blamed himself for. He thought that maybe he just needed some fresh air and that taking care of this hollow might help.

He then used flash step and disapeared from the clinic. Isshin while the others were talking to Yuzu and Karin looked out at the door. He was the only one to sense Ichigo leave. 'Dont blame yourself for this. You did nothing wrong. I can tell your probably feeling guilty right now. But dont they need you now more than ever.'

Soul Society

Midday

Rukia was catching up on some Errands that were sorley needed. Her life was going pretty much back to normal now that she was back but she sensed that the threat might still be out there. Rhe only thing keeping her mind off that was the work on finishing reconstruction of  Soul Society.

The Serietei was running smoothly but the rest of Soul Society wasnt quite back on its feet yet. Every soul reaper was helping out whenever they got the chance but it was still going to take a long while. She sighed and continued on her way to the squad 13 barracks to continue that work.

Squad 1 barracks

Shunsui looked at the report from the night before about the Quincy that attacked Fairytail. 'Theres no doubt about it. It was As Node.' He thought. The reports described to a T about what happened and where there might possibly be a hidding spot for Ywatch to heal at. The door to the main room of the barracks opened and 3 people walk in. "You wanted to see us?" Kensei asked. He had brought two of his men with him by orders of the Captain Commander. He saw the look on Shunsui's face and knew it couldnt be good. Shunsui put doen the stack of papers and then looked at the three individuals. "Yes I did, I want you to go to the city where As Node was last seen and see if you pick up the reshi of any other Quincys from Vandericht. We dont know if this was a solo attack or if this was a planned operation." He said. The two soul reapers on each side of Kensei went wide eyed. Kensei however looked almost like he knew what was going on already. "Your planning for the worst case scinario arnt you?" He said crossing his arms and giving a stern look of concern to Shunsui. "Its that obvious huh? Well you got me, but like I said this could have been a one off to get revenge." "Yes but how likely is it that it was just a 'one off'?" Shunsui then stroked the facial hair on his chin. He couldnt say anything but his actions gave away the answer to that thought: not likely.

Kensei sighed out of fustration. "And here I thought we killed the jackass." He said. "We all thought that way. But somehow he was revived. We need to find out how and stop it from happening again along with stop whayever he is planning." Shunsui said. "Understood. We'll head out imideatly." Kensei said. He and his team turned around and started to head out, but before Kensei left he turned around and gave a reasuring look. He could tell that the captain commander was worried.

Shunsui nodded and then Kensei proceeded to leave to go to the Senkimon. This mission would be a deadly one for him, and he knew it.
