5 Reunion and Rage

In a gigantic moving giant that was the base of Phantom Lord, Jose was watching as his ace Gajeel tortured the Heartfelia heiress by kicking and punching her when he suddenly sensed a massive surge in ethernano that had even him sweating a little, in a resounding boom a bolt of purple lightning struck the room he was in from which a young man emerged,

"I see you have gotten even stronger than before," Jose said with a smirk but was inwardly planning on how to get rid of Ren before he became a threat to the phantom lord as he was already on par with him in terms of battle experience and had already surpassed him in magic power,

"and I see that you are still as insufferable as ever, this better be worth it Porla or this time I will kill you," Ren said as Jose adopted a neutral face, he motioned towards the image on the remote vision lacrima to show Gajeel who was now fighting with Natsu,

"Help Gajeel defeat that dragon slayer, after that we will destroy their guild completely, then I will provide you with all the information I have on the cult," Jose said as Ren raised an eyebrow and said,

"Then what about the four people I sense on the main hall, one of them has a magical signature that clearly surpasses that dragon slayer, should I not be taking care of this person before helping your ace?" he asked in curiosity as Jose had a savage grin,

"No, I will take care of themselves myself, besides, I have a bone to pick with a certain Titania" Jose said as darkness radiated off of him, Ren raised an eyebrow but did not say anything, walking towards the place where the two dragon slayers were going at it,

Of course, he knew who the Titania was, he had heard about the youngest S-class mage in the history of Fairy Tail who shared the same name as his dead best friend, he had at one point hoped that this Erza was indeed his friend but during the past nine years he had come to accept the truth that this world simply went against everything he hoped for, thus he gave up hope and just focused on his revenge, besides, he had confirmed with an agent of his called Siegrain from the magic council that this Erza was not the one from Rosemary Village, although the man was nothing but a puppet for his former guildmate Ultear, he still had his own will and did not have any benefit by lying to him about this,

As Ren got near the location of the battle he saw both the Dragon Slayers power up to seriously battle but compared to what he had seen from a fake dragon slayer like Laxus, their power was not even worth mentioning,

Gajeel suddenly sniffed the air before looking towards Ren's location and saying,

"What are you doing here Demon?" he asked as Ren replied,

"I came to defeat the dragon slayer over there under Jose's request"

"I do not need your help in taking down one of my kind!!" Gajeel shouted but Ren replied in a bored tone,

"I don't care if you want help or not, I am removing that guy now"

But before Gajeel could reply, Natsu ran towards Ren and hit him in the face with his magic,

"Don't ignore me you damned bastards!!!"

but the moment the dust cleared he was stunned to find that Ren had not even flinched and had a bored expression,

"Is that all? if so then this will be a serious waste of my time" Ren said as he simply used his Earth Demon power to multiply the physical power of his body and hit Natsu in the stomach which sent him flying into the wall which gave way under the impact,

Natsu's limp body fell down from the wall, just as Ren was about to turn around and leave Natsu struggled to get up as he said,

"I-I am not done yet you Phantom scum-" but before he could complete his words Ren was on him again as a rain of hits landed on his body enhanced with Earth Demon powers, making sure he did not use his fire-based ability even once for he knew that Dragon Slayers had the same ability as the God Slayers, Devil Slayers, and Demon slayers to consume their elements, by the end of his rampage, the dragon slayer was out cold as his body was colored in purple and red, to the side he could hear the cries of the girl called Lucy who seemed to be very worried for the young man, Ren felt slightly guilty for hurting her friend so much in front of her, but he quickly crushed that feeling as he focused on his mission, the sooner he got this done the sooner he could get back to searching for the Demon lacrima and the closer he was to his revenge,

"Damn, you did not even let me have any fun at all!!" Gajeel said with gritted teeth as Ren walked past him not even bothering to give him a reply, but suddenly, both of them felt a dark power wash over them as Gajeel smirked and Ren had a neutral face, Gajeel looked towards the crying Lucy and Happy who were already trying to wake up Natsu and said,

"Looks like you Fairies are done for, the master has finally decided to fight himself"

"Fairy Tail will not loose to monsters like you!!!" Lucy said as an enraged expression but Gajeel had an amused expression and said,

"We may be monsters girl but your guild lost all chances of victory the moment the real Demon showed up," he said as he pointed over his shoulder towards Ren who was already walking out of the room, heading towards Jose's location,

Jose was having fun as he tortured the famed Titania Erza, but suddenly, Makarov showed up and had her and his kids leave,

"Time to find out who is the stronger one of us!!!" Jose said as he and Makarov got ready to clash, but then suddenly, Ren showed up and said,

"Not so fast Jose, before you go and die on me I need you to tell me everything about the cult," he said as Jose said,

"That can wait until I have dealt with this old man-"

"No, it can't Jose, as I said I need you alive and sane to give me the info, not a dead man which is sure to happen if what I sense from that old man over there is right," Ren said with a bored voice as Jose first had a stunned look before it was replaced with rage,

"you dare say that the master of Fairy Tail is stronger than me??" he shouted as he fired his dark magic at Ren who simply swatted away his attack with a single hand as both Makarov and Jose had a stunned expression,

"attack me again, and you die," Ren said as an evil presence pressed down on both Jose and Makarov,

'what an evil presence, it makes Jose's dark magic look like a harmless child' Makarov thought as he looked at the young man seriously,

"I do not have time for this, Jose, you have until the count of three to surrender," Makarov said,

Ren watched as Jose started to mouth off like a fool ignoring the obvious build-up of magic coming from Makarov, he quickly covered himself in a magic barrier as Makarov reached the count of three,

"Fairy Law!!!" Makarov said as the magic attacked Jose head-on and completely removed his will to fight, he even-aged visibly from that attack, but the attack affected Ren as well,

it enraged him, by making Jose incapable of speaking for now and by leaving him with a possible trauma, Makarov had taken away his chance at obtaining information about the cult,

"The war is over-" " Shut up old man!!!" Makarov was interrupted by Ren who hit him straight in the face which sent Makarov flying to his guild, but Ren did not give up, he immediately flew towards Makarov coated in demonic energy,

"Master!!!" the guild members screamed as they got in front of Makarov to defend him but a single swipe from Ren was enough to send them all flying,

"Damn you old man, because of you I lost my chance at obtaining vital information, because of you my revenge will be delayed, I Ren Triton swear to make you pay for this slight against me!!!!!" he screamed in rage as power radiated off of him which scared even Makarov with how dark it was, but all of Ren's rage was doused when he heard a scarily familiar voice,

"Ren?"

he immediately turned around and was stunned as the beautiful woman in front of him was replaced with the image of a young girl with red hair and brown eyes,

'how?' he thought to himself as he observed the woman who was covering her mouth as tears fell down from one of her eyes, those eyes that had always stared at him sternly every time he had caused mischief while out hunting for food with the village hunters, that red hair that was so uncommon in the village that everyone knew who she was, that voice which was always stern yet filled with a warmth whenever he came back hurt from his expeditions,

"Erza?"

And so, the Demon King reunited with the Fairy Queen,
