166 166. Zero
With Nirvana being destructed, Ben now just needs to defeat Oracion Seis. He gets down from Jura's Earth wall and meets with Jura who has waited for him below after seeing him on the top of the wall, munching sunlight.
"How's Nirvana?" asks Jura.
"Done, nothing remains of it, not even a piece of brick," says Ben.
"Why are you going that far to destroy it? I believe you can destroy it with another method instead of melting it completely," asks Jura curiously.
"Sorry, it's a personal reason," says Ben.
Jura sighs hearing that and says, "Well, the most important thing is that Nirvana finally gets destroyed. Now we just need to take care of Oracion Seis and their subordinate Dark Guilds."
"Yeah, let's go," says Ben before he runs off.
Ben moves fast and leaves Jura who can't move as fast as him. He goes to find Brain who is the one responsible for everything that happened here.
"He should be fighting with Mira now because she won't let him alone," says Ben as he runs.
Ben finally finds Brain and Mira who aren't fighting like his prediction. They didn't fight because Mira has defeated Brain. She used her Halphas form and overpowered him who tried to chase Nirvana even when she attacked him.
"It seems I don't need to do anything again," says Ben.
"You can praise me," says Mira while smiling.
Ben smiles and pats her head while praising her for doing a good job. But then they suddenly hear a loud screaming voice and Mira recognizes it as Natsu's voice. They thought something has happened, so they want to move, but then they stop.
They feel something behind them and look back to see it. Brain has woken up again, but he seems very different. The biggest difference is the lines on his face have disappeared completely now after getting reduced slowly before.
Another difference is Brain's Magic Power is greater than before. Quite strange but not impossible because he might use something to store his Magic Power and release it now. His eyes also become red now as if he hasn't slept for days.
"Hahaha, finally I can get out," says 'Brain'
"Get out?" asks Mira confusedly.
"Hehehe, I must thank you for defeating Brain, little girl. Your friends also have defeated my guild members so I can get out. Well, I'm happy to get out, but I'm also pissed because this means that all of them are incompetent," says 'Brain'.
"You are not Brain, at least not the previous Brain. Who are you?" asks Ben.
"I think I can tell you before I kill you, I am Brain, but also not him, I am Zero," says Zero.
"Someone with double personalities, huh? I will be interested to learn about it if this is a normal situation. But I'm not in the mood to do that. I'm in the mood to beat you up though. You've caused a lot of trouble for us," says Ben as he walks forward and gestures to Mira to move back.
"Beat me up? Hahaha, if you think that I'm the same as Brain then you are dead wrong. I will be the one who beat you up, brat," says Zero as he gathers a lot of dark energy on his hands.
"Dark Delete!" casts Zero.
Zero shoots many dark spheres from his hands toward Ben. But Ben just takes out his Pendragon and swings it to the incoming spheres. The Pendragon can cut the spheres easily as if they're paper.
Of course, it makes Zero angry because Ben can destroy his attack very easily. He knows Ben is the biggest threat in this mission, so he won't play around now. Zero gathers a lot of his dark energy around his fingertip.
"Genesis Zero!" casts Zero.
Zero unleashes a lot of phantoms to attack Ben who keeps walking toward him. The phantoms move toward Ben and he just looks at them calmly.
"Phantoms again," says Ben as he remembers about Jose who also used phantoms.
Ben doesn't move and just holds Pendragon while looking at Zero. The phantoms then start to surround Ben and he is buried by them. Zero smirks seeing Ben can't do anything, but then his smirk stiffens when he feels his phantoms are reducing.
Right now, Ben is swinging his sword around and cutting the phantoms. He infuses his sword with Light Magic to make his attacks stronger. Just one slash of his sword can cut the phantoms in half instantly.
The phantoms' number reduced fast and it makes Zero angrier. Genesis Zero is his strongest spell and Ben can break it easily as if the phantoms are very weak. But they are not weak, Ben is just stronger than him and Pendragon is just too sharp.
"It looks similar, but your phantoms are nothing compared to Jose's phantoms. Well, even your Magic Power is nothing compared to him," says Ben while walking toward Zero after defeating every phantom.
"What do you want to say?" asks Zero.
"You are weak," says Ben while smirking.
Zero has his veins pop in anger and he immediately release all his magic power. He extends his right hand toward Ben and casts, "Dark Gravity!"
The gravity around Ben increases 10 times and makes the ground cave in. Zero expects Ben to fall, but nothing happens, and Ben just stands there normally.
"What? You expect me who can control the gravity to fall under this measly spell? Let me show you the real gravity spell," says Ben as he raises his right hand in front of him.
Ben increases the gravity around Zero to 40 times normal gravity. It makes Zero fall on the ground instantly because the gravity pressure is very strong. He looks at Ben with disbelief and hatred, but he can't do anything, not even lift a finger.
"This is the difference between us and you should have just given up. But I'll give you a chance to struggle even though it's useless," says Ben as he dispels his Gravity Magic.
Zero jumps back immediately and gets wary of Ben. He doesn't know what Ben wants to do by releasing him. But then he sees Ben is in a fighting stance with his fists ready.
"Come! Let's fight like a man," says Ben while smirking.
"You'll regret this," says Zero as he covers his hands with Dark Energy.
Zero rushes at Ben and they are engaged in close combat. But different from Zero who uses Magic to strengthen his attacks, Ben doesn't use any enhancement and purely uses his physical strength.
Even so, he can handle Zero's relentless attacks well and doesn't get hit at all. Of course, this makes Zero even angrier and he unleashes more power. But nothing changes and Ben still dominates the fight.
Ben mainly uses dodging and parrying to handle Zero's attacks. Then he will strike Zero with punches or kicks when he sees gaps. His strikes are very powerful even though he doesn't even use Magic because his physique is very strong.
In the end, Zero can't handle Ben's attacks and get a lot of injuries. Ben decides to finish the fight after Zero gets weakened a lot. He stands in front of Zero and immediately sends a barrage of punches.
For the final attack, Ben covers his right hand with Light Magic. Then he looks at the beaten-up Zero and says, "See? I told you that you are weak."
Zero looks at the incoming Light Punch and curses, "DAMN!"
*BAM*
The Light Punch hits Zero's face very hard and flings him back very fast. Zero crashes onto trees and breaks them. He only stops after reaching 100 meters distance with him being unconscious. Ben has defeated Zero without much effort.
