143 143. Berserks

Ben & Deliora's battle gets more heated up after they transform into their strongest form. Deliora rushes to Ben and punches Ben with all he has. He doesn't use his beam because Ben can always dodge it.

Ben doesn't back down and faces Deliora's punches head-on. He creates a pair of gigantic solar element fists on his hands to counter Deliora's punches. This is something that Ben made after scanning many Magic Books in Magic Library.

Both Ben & Deliora keep punching toward each other and no one backs off. Their punches are very strong that they created explosions & shockwaves upon contact. They're so fast that they look like blurry lines.

*BOOM BOOM BOOM*

"ROAR!" screams Deliora.

Deliora keeps roaring while punching at Ben with all his strength. His fully red eyes look menacing and his fangs make him look scarier. But Ben doesn't get affected by that and he can't push Ben, so he exerts more power.

On another side, Ben is very focusing on countering Deliora's punches. He is too focused that his eyes look like they're fully white. His mouth is shut tight as he just focuses on looking & sensing the incoming attacks & counter them.

Suddenly, Ben senses another type of attack coming from Deliora. He is very focused, so he can feel that this attack is different. It comes from Deliora's mouth, so Ben knows it is a beam.

*PSHEW*

Deliora shoots a lime energy beam amidst his punches toward Ben. Ben who has sensed it also has prepared his spell to counter it. A reddish-gold magic circle is spinning in front of his mouth.

"Sun Devil's Scream!" says Ben as he shoots a very strong solar energy from his mouth.

Ben exerts more power for this Scream spell to counter Deliora's beam.

*BOOM*

Their attacks clash and push each other in the center. They get into a stalemate for a moment before Ben's attack gets pushed and Deliora's attack passes through. It hits the spot where Ben stands and creates a big explosion.

Deliora thinks that he has overpowered Ben's attack. But he's wrong, Ben weakened his spell deliberately. He thinks that trying to overpower each other like that is stupid and just wasting energy.

So Ben weakened his Scream spell and teleported away to avoid Deliora's energy beam. Now he is right on Deliora's left side without the demon's knowledge. He also has extended both his hands to the front and a reddish-gold magic circle has formed on his hands.

"Sun Devil's Solar Cannon!" says Ben as he shoots strong solar energy from his hands.

The solar energy shoots straight toward Deliora's left torso. Deliora realized it, but he is too late because the solar energy has arrived right beside him. It hits his left upper torso and explodes very strongly.

A massive explosion happens inside the dome and it gathers everyone's attention. The explosion engulfs the whole space in the dome that it glows bright red. This spell is one of Ben's strongest spells, so the effect must be big because it used a lot of power.

The bright red dome can be seen from all sides of the island. It gathers everyone's attention and they all look at it. They stopped their battle for a moment and look at the dome with widened eyes. If they're still inside the dome, they will get engulfed by the explosion too.

Everyone there now has the same thought, they are glad they aren't inside the dome. Just from the explosion effect, they can judge that it's very strong. None of them are sure that they can defend against it.

But none of them know whose power is that, whether it's Ben's magic or Deliora's magic. Even Gray & Lyon aren't sure of it because they remember Deliora has this kind of power, but it can be Ben's power too because they don't know anything about it.

The explosion distracts them for a moment but they focus on their battles again. They can't do anything about Ben's battle with the dome still there, so they can only fight their opponents now. Well, it's not like they want to get in there after seeing such an explosion, even Lyon who wanted to kill Deliora.

Back to the dome, the explosion effect has subsided. The dust & smoke that cover the whole space has started to disperse. A big crater is seen in the explosion site and the whole temple ruins have been truly destroyed now.

All of the temple remains are pushed to the side and stacked on the dome wall. Deliora is also seen lying on top of those remains after being pushed by Ben's spell. He has blood covering his body and there's a big hole on his left torso.

But he isn't dead yet and he can stand up again slowly. He looks at Ben who is still standing in his initial position. Deliora has a pained expression, but he still looks at the grinning Ben with hatred all over his face.

Ben is the only one who doesn't get affected by that explosion as it is his spell and he has been prepared for the effect. Even the ground beneath and behind him is still intact. But it doesn't mean that he is not getting affected at all.

Right now, Ben is hiding his tiredness after using a lot of power for that spell. He hides his frantic breathing by grinning and having a smug face. That spell used a third of his full MP, so it made him tired.

He hides his tiredness to show Deliora that their levels are far apart. Actually, he still has more than 100,000 MP, but the last spell has taken a lot of his MP at once, that's what tires him. He still can fight with Deliora like before, but he needs a little rest if he wants to exert the same power.

But he can't wait because Deliora will recover too and that will be troublesome. He doesn't know what the demon still has and he needs to finish this right now. There are more spells that he still wants to test, but that's not a priority now.

"Well, Deliora, I think this is goodbye. You've just woken up, but you need to sleep again. Don't worry, I promise no one will wake you up again, so you won't get into the same trouble again," says Ben while grinning & transforming to his normal form.

"GRRR!" groans Deliora angrily.

Ben raises his right hand in front of him and makes a dark purple magic circle. Then a dark purple ball the size of a volleyball appears on top of it.

"Don't worry about burial, I will help you with it," says Ben as he throws the ball to Deliora.

The ball flies to Deliora and the demon wants to evade it. But he is too weak to run from it with all his injuries. The ball eventually arrives in front of his chest and he can't do anything about it.

"Sun Devil's Gravity Spot!" says Ben as he clenches his right hand.

Deliora suddenly gets pulled by the gravity ball and so are all the temple ruins in the dome. His hands & legs are also pulled, so he is seen like a koala that hugs the ball now. He tries to resist it, but the gravity ball is very strong as it has 38 times gravity, which is Ben's current limit.

The temple ruins that get pulled are flying toward Deliora. As he is the closest to the ball, Deliora is stuck in the center. The ruins fly fast and start to hit him very hard but he can't do anything except groan in pain.

The ruins cover Deliora's body on every side and start to form a giant ball. Eventually, all the temple ruins bury him and a gigantic ball is formed. It hovers midair and Ben pulls it closer to him.

"He's still alive, huh? What a tenacious guy. But this will surely end you. Sun Devil's Gravity Compression!" says Ben.

Ben opens his clenched right hand and pours more MP onto it before clenching it again. He spread the gravity all over the gigantic ball and then compress it. The gigantic ball's size reduces slowly as it gets denser and denser.

Eventually, it becomes very dense and reduced to half of its initial size. Now Ben can't sense any life sign from Deliora. The demon has been crushed to death inside the giant ball.

Ben puts the giant ball on the ground and says, "Job's done."
