86 Ghoul Spirit

"How does it feel being thrown out?" Anna chuckled as she stood up from her chair and pulled him up from the ground along with giving him a cup of water.

"Senior Ornn is very eccentric and very energetic." John answered with a wry smile thinking of what happened inside the blacksmith, he took the cup and drank it all in one go.

"Many other customers of Master also felt that he was eccentric and very energetic." Anna laughed as she went back to her desk and started and opened the drawer and started to search for something.

"Hmmm, where is that token... Aha! Finally found you, you little thing!"

After a lot of searching, Anna finally found what she was looking for, it was a token that has the same designs as the number tag with the numbers being replaced by the word 'Subjugation'.

"You can take this token to the Cherry Blossom Holy Knight Squadron and they will know exactly what to do after seeing this, you just need to say the name of the dark guild to them."

Then she handed the token to him with a smile as she wished him good luck on his journey to subdue the dark guild.

"Miss Anna, please tell Senior Ornn that the number of the forged items that I need is a hundred." John requested to which Anna nodded.

John took the token as he quickly walked back to the amusement park as the time he spent inside the blacksmith was shorter than he expected, with only one-hour passing.

And he quickly saw their group in the previous spot where they are eating before he left, he saw that Ur was looking at him with a smile.

" You seem to know that this will happen, right Miss Ur?" John asked when he saw Ur's teasing smile.

"So, what did you get?" Ur asked not hiding the fact that she already knew what happened in the blacksmith as she already experienced it herself.

"Subjugation." John answered as he put the subjugation token on the table, Ur laughed seeing this as she pointed at the token. "It looks like your luck ended when you got picked, actually getting subjugation like what are the odds?"

"Ha! If you think that my luck ended, then you are mistaken. The dart landed between upgrade and subjugation, which grants me a free upgrade on the item. How about you, Miss Ur, what did you get?"

Ur's teasing expression quickly soured when she heard John's words, although unlucky to get subjugation it doesn't matter if you get an upgrade with it.

She would have been so much happier if she got the upgrade option along with the subjugation one she got when she went to that old guy's place.

"You must have got a worse option right?!" John laughed when he saw Ur's sour face, which cause her face to turn even sourer, as she just hmph and stopped talking.

John laughed even more when he saw this, Cana on the other hand observed the token as she curiously asked.

"What is the use of this token, John?"

Before John could even answer, Ur took the initiative and answered Cana's question.

"That's a subjugation token when you hand it over to the Cherry Blossom Holy Knight and tell them the name of the dark guild you are tasked to subdue."

"They would hand over files that contain information regarding the dark guild, like potential bases of the dark guilds, magic specialization, strength of members, etc."

"You seem to be fairly knowledgeable regarding this token Miss Ur. Did the option you receive back then was subjugation?"

"Just shut up and go on your subjugation already! Or do you want us to even accompany you?!" Ur shouted as she was really angry with this kid.

In the first few weeks of their meeting, this kid was still polite with her, but as the days have gone by he slowly started to become bolder and bolder just like now.

"Alright, alright, I will be setting off tomorrow, and no you can't come with me Cana, this subjugation will be a solo journey." John said turning down Cana's pleading eyes.

"I really can't come with you?" Cana pleaded with big teary eyes.

"You really can't, I'll play with you the next time we meet, I promise, okay?" John promised as he rubbed her hair while Cana closed her eyes in comfort.

"Okay, I won't accompany you guys any longer, I need to look for the Cherry Blossom Holy Knights to get information regarding the dark guild."

"Okay, take care of yourself."

John just nodded and waved at the words as he walked towards the center of Crocus where the headquarters of Cherry Blossom Holy Knights is based on.

After walking for thirty minutes, John arrived in front of a huge barracks with armored knights keep walking in and out of the building, John walked in after taking a moment to appreciate the scenery.

He quickly arrived in front of a receptionist who asked him what's his purpose for coming to their headquarters.

John took out the subjugation token and hinted. "Miss Anna said that if I show this to the knights in the Cherry Blossom Holy Knights, you guys would know what it meant."

The receptionist was surprised to see the token, she quickly grabbed his hands and dragged him upstairs while saying.

"It's been a long time since a subjugation token came to our headquarters, I'll quickly drive you through the process to let you see information on the guild you've been tasked on."

And then after an hour of complicated processing, John received the information regarding the Ghoul Spirit Dark Guild. He immediately opened it and read the information inside.

"Hmmm, so the guild base of Ghoul Spirit is somewhere around the northwest of Shirotsume town. Inside that gloomy forest? Who would want to live inside that gloomy place?" John contemplated when he looked at the information on where the guild most likely is.

He got his answer when he looked at what magic the ghoul spirit guild is specializing in, necromancy magic, the guild specialized in necromancy, and that's the reason why they lived in such a gloomy place.

Newly raised zombies are weak to sunlight, and living inside such a gloomy place where sunlight hardly reaches is beneficial to their zombies.

"Necromancy again, huh? Why can't the dead just stay dead?" John let out a tired sigh seeing that he'll have to fight a lot of zombies this time.

"At least the strongest among them is an A-level dark mage, with this, I still have the strength to subdue this whole dark guild by myself."

John then stood up as he already recorded all the information in the file in his archive, he handed it to the receptionist that guided him as he went back to the fairy tail hotel.

He planned to rest first for today and quickly set off for Shirotsume town the next morning, after saying good night to the others he quickly head into bed to rest.

The next day, inside the cafeteria, reserved for guild members at the top of the hotel, John and the others were eating.

"Are you sure you don't want us to accompany you, kid?" Ur asked while drinking her coffee.

"No need, I'm sure I'll be able to handle this dark guild by myself." John said when he realized that his words seems like it was setting up a flag.

But, it was already too late to regret it, the deed has already been done, and the flag has been set.
