5 Chapter 5: Joining Fairy Tail

*Earth Land, Ishgar, Magnolia* * November 7, Year 771* ***********************************One Month Later**********************************************

*Morning*

It's been one month since I started training in the formations of bickslow shown on the anime. Anyways when I gone back from the orphanage. I created two more totems, then I started training crazily.

Only going home to sleep and eat, it even went as far as to eat breakfast at the forest. During this one month of training, I achieve to use my line formation with 2 pairs of two totems and a five totem line formation.

I also learned the baryon formation but I'm not too proficient in using it, In the anime Bickslow needs 3.5 seconds to use it. But I need 15 seconds to use the baryon formation, It's worth it though the power of this move in my rank is equal to a Peak F-rank mage attack.

I can use it as my finishing move, I just need to shorten the time that I need to use it. After this training I decided to join Fairy tail.

As I finished having a bath and brushing my teeth, I go down to the first floor to have my last breakfast with the other kids. After eating breakfast I have a teary goodbye with the kids and the matron from the orphanage.

I walk through the streets of Magnolia to the strongest guild in Fiore, The Fairy Tail guild. I saw the building of the fairy tail guild.

It's a three floored building in a pagoda shape, with red tiles for roof, having a orange fairy tail insignia banner on the third floor. As I walked to the massive gates, I raised my head to see the words 'Fairy Tail' written in bold characters.

I pushed through the massive gates, what greeted me was a bar of men and women drinking everywhere. It's pretty chaotic even without the main cast of the anime. They noticed me as I walk to the bar table, where there's a short man drinking beer. Nonetheless they went back to drinking.

As I stand in front of him head to head, the short old man finally noticed me. This short old man is wearing a white shirt with a black Fairy Tail stamp in the middle under an orange hoodie. His attire was completed with matching orange shorts and an orange and blue striped jester hat.

As he raised his head, he asked me " What you want Kid Hic*?" " I want to join fairy tail" I answered. Finally sober he raises his eyebrow at my answer. " You sure kid you're pretty young you know?" "I can use magic" I replied to him as I make my totems afloat.

"Oh? You use the same magic as that brat?" He spoke with interest. " Sure kid where do you want your guild mark be?" " At my right arm guild master." "No need to call me guild master, just call me old man we're family now."

I looked through the guild hall as I got my right arm tattooed. I notice that Laxus and his team is not here.

'He's probably on a mission with his team' I thought. After the tattoo was done, Makarov raises his head to the other guild members and shouted " We have a new member to the guild. Let's Party!!!"

"OOOOOOOOOHHHHH" The other guild members shouted as they have a new member to the family. As they partied a member sat down beside me. " Hey kid mind telling your name? Name's Macao Conbolt BTW."

Macao Conbolt is just 23 years old this year, He's still pretty handsome not like his mid 30's self at the start of the cannon. He's dark blue hair is spiky on the front of his head and wears a deep blue colored t-shirt and white jeans.

"My name is John Osborne, uncle." " Hey I'm not an uncle I'm just 23 this year." He said popping a vein on my comment. "you're single?" "yes single." "No relationship, kid or what so ever?" "your point?" " Then You're an Uncle."

"I'M NOT AN UNCLE!!!! I'M ONLY 23 YEARS OLD GOD DAMN IT." He yelled attracting laughter from everyone in the bar. "So you're an uncle now, Macao HAHAHA!" said a brown haired man from the side.

"IF I'M AN UNCLE AND WE'RE THE SAME AGE, YOU'RE ALSO AN UNCLE TOO WAKABA !!!" Yelled Macao to the brown haired man called Wakaba. The other guild members just laugh at their antics.

I got up from the bar and go to the task board and looked through it before finally settling on a task. The task is an F-rank mission about killing five wolves that is terrorizing the village. It's said on the task that they already killed a small family of three in the village.

[KILL WOLVES] Requirement: None Location: Village of Wells Type of mission: Extermination Description: These 5 wolves are dangerous and cunning, They have already killed a small family. Everyone from the village pile some money to exterminate the wolves. Requestor: Village of Wells Reward: 25,000 Jewels

I took the task and head towards the bar table and put it in front of Makarov." Are you sure you can do this job kiddo?" "Yes I'm sure that I can do it." "Well prove it to me in the practice area." We head to the practice area that is in the backyard.

As the crowd noticed the excitement they also followed to see what's this new member is capable of. As I headed into the backyard I noticed the crow following behind, I decided to show off a bit later. I noticed in the backyard that there's mannequin stationed 25 meters ahead.

"Go do your best kiddo" "I'll do better than what you can think of."

I positioned myself 15 meters in front of the mannequin, I was thinking of using the line formation since it's my strongest move that I can use instantly. I concentrate as the five totems behind me floated.

"Soldiers, Line Formation." As I speak the five totems quickly connect to each other forming a 5 meter line of totems. After connecting it instantly fired a 5 meter horizontally long slash that slashed at the mannequins in front of me.

After the attack crashed, it only left a white mark at the place the slash hit. I'm guessing that the mannequin is made of special materials as the slash only left a white mark. I was forced out of thinking by the slightly astonished voices around me.

"This kid is better than I thought." "I thought He will only be equivalent to a beginner F-rank mage, but this slash's power has reach a middle stage F-rank mage's power"

"Ok kid you've proved yourself you can go to the job now." He said to me as he stamped the mission paper.

"Okay I will be going now gramps, I'll be back one week later." I replied to him.
