3 Chapter 3: Planning for my Future

*Earth Land, Ishgar, Magnolia* *Year 771* *Afternoon*

After I tested the power of my totems, I got up and start exploring the forest hoping to run into some small animals to put inside my space. So I kept walking through the forest until I hear something moving in the bushes.

I quickly turned to look at the bush and used my totems to knock away the bush and see what's inside. After the bush is gone, I saw a horned rabbit lying down shivering. Horned rabbit is a rabbit with a horn that barely qualifies as a magic creature.

As a magic beast even though it's weak it can still beat a teenager easily. It's meat is also more nutritious than normal rabbits. So I quickly use my totems to rush at it and knocked it out and I put it inside my space.

*3 Hours Later*

While I was searching for herbs and magical creatures. I stumble upon a nest of weird chicken, the weird thing? They have 3 legs!!

The nest has one rooster and three hens, with about 18 eggs in the nest. Look at this chicken it has a harem, He's rubbing it on the face of us single dogs, jokes aside I swiftly knock out the family of chickens and put them in the space.

After the first horned rabbits and three legged chicken I encounter 3 more rabbits a pair and a sole female, btw the first rabbit I got is a male. And ransack 2 more chicken nests.

With my successful harvest I killed another horned rabbit and have the totems carry it for me. While walking through the city gates many eyes turned to me or to my totems that was carrying a horned rabbit. I quickly reach the orphanage after minutes of walking.

As I enter the orphanage I saw the matron blocking the door. And when I thought about it, it's about to be night time. I sweated a bit from the thought as I saw that she finally noticed me.

As she noticed me She started running? Or speed walking? Speed walking is definitely the word.

"Where have you been Young man??!!"

"I was in the forest.." I whispered.

"OH! So you thought you're strong enough just because you've learned your magic? You think you can go anywhere now that you've learned magic??"She sarcastically said to me.

"Yes you see I've hunted a horned rabbit" I said proudly with a toothy grin.

"ouch" I yelled in pain. Apparently my head's been smack by a fist of love.

"You think you can go challenging magical creatures just because you have magic?!!! What if something happened to you? Don't you know how worried I am?!' She scolded me and cried.

" I'm sorry Matron I won't do it again I'll ask for permission next time." I apologize to her. I know that the Matron treats everyone in the orphanage as her kid. So one can imagine if one of her kid suddenly didn't went back from adventuring.

"Ok I forgive you, but don't do it again ok? For tonight's dinner will be the horned rabbit that you've hunted." She replied rubbing her eyes of tears.

We both entered the orphanage and saw the other kids sitting at the table. They turned their heads when we entered. They saw my totems and the horned rabbits. They started running and asking all kinds of question about the totems and horned rabbits.

"WOW! What's this flying wood thingy?" "WOW! John what's this rabbit?"

"Why does this rabbit have horns?" They bombarded me with questions, the matron can see me getting annoyed so she stopped the kids from annoying me more. " Okay kids Your brother John will tell you his story about his adventure later at the dinner."

This excites the already excited kids, so they started running to the table and sat down waiting for the food so that I can tell them my story. I also sat down as I waited for the food by telling them my adventure to the forest.

After we ate a satisfactory dinner, I finished the story that I'm telling them. We all went upstairs to sleep

When I reached the bedroom the first thing that I did after lying down on the bed is to enter the space with my consciousness. When I entered the space I saw the chickens fighting with each other so I quickly knocked them out again.

30 minutes after they woke up again and I scolded them that they must not fight inside the space or I'll eat them. Anyway after I've finished dealing with the three legged chicken and horned rabbit.

I started thinking about my plans since its currently year 771, there's still 13 years of time for me to train before cannon starts. The first thing that I will do tomorrow morning will be to join fairy tail, because that's the only place where I will be guaranteed survival.

Second will be to look for more herbs preferably magical herbs and magical creatures to enrich my space.

Third will be to increase my strength till I can carve on the iron tree so that my combat effectiveness will be enhance

Fourth will be to strive to be as strong as possible before cannon.

As I finished planning I look around the space where the only things are chicken, rabbits, trees and a pond. Maybe I should put forward the plan of enriching the space so it doesn't look so barren.

And I should probably think of a name for this place I just can't keep calling it space right?
