171 Chapter 171: 6 Years… (2)

A/N: The author here to say that I'll continue the story updates around Dec. 25 or at the end of Dec. So be sure to expect this story is continue since for the last few days I've been having writer's block of how to proceed.

Hopefully, time off will help me improve better since I'm writing the Grand Magic Games Arc. So here's this chapter to not leave a cliffhanger.

Flipping through different volumes of magic books in his time Silva read through multiple specific Magic typologies and elements intensively in the Guild Library.

Clearing his throat, he gave out his command to Susanoo managing the guild cleanliness in a sharp tone, "Susanoo! Coffee me up!"

*Vooom*

Arriving with a freshly brewed coffee from the guild to him with a smile, "Of course my Lord. Here's the coffee freshly brewed hot and plenty of cream to stimulate your senses."

Taking the coffee cup and taking a sip soon a person comes in to check up on Silva revealing to be Macao viewing Silva hitting the books and commenting about it, "Hey Silva! Are you still reading up on the Guild library and researching a new style of Magic for yourself?"

*Pam*

Placing down older size volumes of books from Hades' library from his Airship he took he replied to Macao quickly reading through them in a calm tone, "Yeah…. I know everyone will come back someday… but the failure not being strong enough or capable bothers me greatly. So great in fact that I must devise a new means to get stronger while remaining the same strength."

Macao sighs at Silva studying seeing the intensified hate in his eyes of a certain dragon not seen there before thinking to himself of his friend change, 'Sigh… it has been 3 years since the key members left and he still feels like his shit huh? I would be too if I was in his place but ever since a year ago all he cared about other than the guild is getting stronger…'

Macao could only hope that Silva manages to break past his weakness by researching the different volumes of books…

"You wish to learn about Enchant Magic?"

In the current matter, Silva decided to inquire more about Enchant Magic to Selene in her room and expressed a bemused question in a curious tone, "Does this have to relate with the <Spirit Art> you wish to create by chance?"

Knowing the reason behind the visit Silva nodded requiring insight into the Magic of the past and who else but Selene who lived to this day in a serious tone, "Yeah. Frankly, I would probably haven't done this if I wasn't that desperate. But… I'm wondering if you can open a portal in one of the Spirggan 12 rooms belonging to the Scarlet Despair or Alvarez Empire Magic Library Room."

Selene expressed a smug smile on her face asking another question if it related to her request, she priorly discussed with Silva with an excited expression, "It's a simple task within my power but why should I? Does helping you achieve my other goal? You know the one that revolves around the Dragon Gods?"

Curtly nodding in understanding what she wants Silva responded in a serious tone much to Selene's happiness, "Yeah. But only for the Dragons that want to hunt or harm humans. If I find one that cooperates on the path of coexistence, then I'll merely seal their power but will be able access fully to them if under attack in self-defense? Are those terms agreeable Selene?"

Selene paused at this before taking time to consider the terms agreeing to nod her head eyes turning stern to what Silva needs in a serious tone, "Yes…. I suppose I could be fine with those terms if it means I get rid of the competition and live quietly as a human. Very well then how much do you need to take from their library?"

Silva expressed with a predatory grin much to Selene's like of his new approach, "All of it."

Selene smirked seeing how serious Silva was trying to obtain the power he sought if it meant to get rid of her enemies and Acnologia she would gladly assist her partner in achieving such a goal by any means.

Quickly side-stepping through the various Enchantments placed inside the Scarlet Despair room Silva quickly stole all her magic material and Magic tools he found fancy.

Using Selene's Magic to easily infiltrate inside the room taking them he collected everything from her library thinking to himself using <Faceless King> in a happy tone, 'Perfect I got all the books from here and a few Skills from this library I should – crap!'

*Thud*

Slipping from a puddle of water Silva grabbed something as he muttered silently, "Bloody hell who –"

*Drip*

However, his hands soon got a towel gazing up to see Irene out of her shower viewing her naked body of perfection her eyes twitching finding someone stolen from her right under her nose as well as viewing her naked human body.

Silva summed up to one word how fucked he was, "Crab baskets."

*BOOOM

To sum up, Selene distracted the army enough to save Silva as he forever saved that rare eye candy in his memory but more by studying Enchant Magic.

News of this will turn into a manhunt of the masked figure…

"<Enchant Spirit Arts: Atomic>."

*BOOOM*

Unleashing a massive explosion taking the form of a mushroom cloud out of nowhere Selene eyes her state wounded as the smoke clears revealing Silva as she laughs blood dripping from her mouth, "Hahaha… I see your time training has finally been worthwhile. You have the power to defeat any foe. Such a magnificent cheat ability. I envy any enemy against you…"

*Wooosh*

Handing her a salve and drinking it the wounds on her body vanished as Silva thanked her gazing at his hand carefully and exclaiming, "Amazing… all the years learning Enchant Magic learning <Concept Enchantment> along with a few others certainly made me stronger…"

He sweats a bit expressing a deadpan look voicing the issues to learn the power he acquired, "I kind of hoped not to cause an uproar using you as a scapegoat you old hag."

Selene merely laughed recalling how they ended up taking ALL of the Scarlet Despair Magic books room but was caught red-handed viewing Irene's naked figure out of her nearby shower freezing once she cast a locater spell.

The Alvarez Empire went into a manhunt for the person who stole from her screaming fury causing Silva to shiver down his spine.

However, his danger senses kicked in as Selene got too personal on his body panting her bosom landing on his chest legs arching to his licking her lips in temptation rubbing her thighs near his as she exclaimed, "Ara ara… Dear Silva… would you like to copulate with me? Dragoness such as I search for powerful alphas to court into ours or look for powerful mates that defeat us. Harems I don't mind sharing I could give –"

*Pop*

Suddenly teleported away with a note leaving Selene to blink confused observing the note reading out loud, "Nope. I don't stick my dick into crazy and try to do something I'll Enchant my <Atomic > out of your existence."

Selene shivered at the thought of witnessing the spell firsthand viewing what was a mountain turned into nothing by their fight muttering to herself in a calm tone, "Right…. Forgot that man can become a Continent Destroyer if he wants to multiple times with one move with his swordplay. Best to be calm with my actions… Hehe he…"

Raven Tail's headquarters appears to be in a rocky wasteland, surrounded by large formations of bare rocks. The building itself is dug into the rocks, consisting of a high, slender, and grossly carved fortress seemingly shaped out of a mountain, possessing jagged walls studded with rough openings of various sizes, acting as windows, and sporting slender spires protruding upwards from its entire perimeter.

One of such spires, possessing a balcony with a stone balustrade, houses what looks like a laboratory of sorts for their Guild Master, packed full of vials of various sizes and books set out in bookshelves lined up the rocky walls, with disturbing ornaments such as skulls adorning the entire place.

In recent years since X784 the area around the fortress is mildly different in look, with some of the rock formations composing it sporting extremely elongated and sharp protrusions similar to stalagmites.

It is also worth noting that the entire place is full of very large bones piled up everywhere, seemingly animal ones and that the area is marked by a ragged light flag secured to a gnarled staff stuck in the rock, near to which sits a small saber, with its nicked blade similarly stuck into the ground, and a human skull; some proofs that, even Raven Tail treatment to intruders.

*Wooosh*

*Thud*

Landing down below Silva cloaked in a different uniform along with Ur at the time became one of the members of the 10 Wizard Saints and responded in a serious tone, "Sorry for not being around the Guild when they needed me. Hopefully, this piece of information is useful for an apology?"

Off-handedly in a cheerful mood, Silva replied discussing with his sensei not shown an age of the day growing, "Nonsense. I understand what you needed to do Ur-Sensei. After all, getting a pardon from the King to apologize for Ultear's actions with Meredy wasn't exactly easy. Although I'm sure a handsome young man certainly helped you in your favor. I wonder who it could've been…?"

Ur expresses a deadpan look at him as Silva backs off joking, "What? I'm just joking you know."

Ur only sighed and laughed at her student antics responding with a slight nod, "Yeah, yeah. But you scare the Magic Council Members with proof of them attempting sabotage demanding payment was certainly something to behold in front of the King."

Silva merely snorted at the news when he got requested by Ur for this S-Class Mission.

It was 6 years since Ur left the island with her daughter and friend escaping Acnologia and their fate with multiple events occurring but the most being hiding as Ur regained her strength.

Thinking joining the Magic Council as the members were short staffed the Magic Council Members were impressed witnessing her Magic Power but in a deal to pardon or anything to absolve Ultear's past crimes.

At the time the Magic Council disagreed, however, compromised that if Ur followed their order Ultear would be given her sentences off along with Meredy.

When news of this passed through Silva's eyes, he laughed maniacally having one day off to use his favor with the King calling him to pardon Ultear and Meredy of their crimes if they contributed to helping the citizens.

At first, the King didn't seem to agree but when the crimes of the Magic Council incompetence with Brain made Ultear follow this path was to blame along with them attempting to sabotage Fairy Tail to disband.

Silva made the point clear that the Magic Council was undermining the King of their strongest forces that could defeat not only Grimoire Hearts but the Oracion Seis with the united legal guilds consisting of their strongest Mages at the time.

The King considered the idea with the possibility of having Jellal return to the council under the watch of Lahar being his keeper they could form a unit of powerful Rune Knights that could dispatch with the rampant rise of the crime of Dark Guilds as the group did wish to do right.

Considering this the King knew he could use these powerful members to his military power and showing his judgement could rise giving the people's faith worth trusting along with having two people that could use Lost Magic which is rare to find in the world.

Thus, by the King's order pardoned Jellal, Ultear, and Meredy under the Lahar Rune Knight unit giving them the chance to redeem themselves and scold the Magic Council of the members who agreed into question damaging their Kingdom defenses destroying one of their strongest guilds is counterproductive.

When Ur learned of this and heard the news of Raven Tail's location she requested Silva an S-Class to thank him for everything he's done.

Which leads to the current present…

Silva viewed Raven Tail through Spectator examining everything and smiling seeing Flare Corona hasn't been recruited yet sighed in relief.

Soon his expression changed to confidence as he responded to Ur in a serious tone, "Stand back Ur-Sensei. I'm about to drop the boom on these guys…"

*SHIIII*

Following as she was told she allowed Silva free reign what to do as he used his <Spirit Arts> to create the next attack stunning Ur as he pointed his finger up.

Upon doing so a bright blue ball of Mana energy called out his newest skill from his training Spirit Arts dubbed <Infinity >, "Whew… Time to test out what my training in the Spirit Arts can finally do. Time for me to show off <Infinity >… <Enchant Infinity: Disappear>."

While creating his technique a screen next to him could be seen reading the following upon activating his infinity skill viewing others he gained through his training.

Description: Upon training in the spirit arts, the creator Silva Knights created this skill named <Infinity > upon completing his training. This technique brings the concept of "Infinity" into reality, allowing the user to manipulate the concept as he sees fit. Magic can't be used to defend when this skill is active and could be enchanted onto a spell that allows the user to keep the spells active until the caster chooses to dispel them.

Description: Enchant Magic, Augmentation Magic, or in singular and plural formats as Enchant/Enchantment, are all about the magical ability that allows the user to bind their Magic or mold a magical essence onto someone or something. The process of Enchantment amounts to the user adding their Magic onto living or inanimate objects, thereby increasing their natural attributes; i.e. enchanting wood to make it stronger than steel, or enchanting swords into human beings with immense power.

Destruction: Using Enchant Magic the user creates multiple enchanted explosions in the nearby radius.

<Separation Enchantment> (Active) Lv. MAX

MP Cost: Varies

Description: This type of Enchantment generally focuses on separating Magic from a person or object. Depending on the type of Separation Enchantment used, the effects can range anywhere. It's been noted that this Enchantment can cause Magic Deficiency Disease due to the forceful removal of Magic.

<Concept Enchantment> (Active) Lv. MAX>

MP Cost: Varies

Description: This type of Enchantment focuses on forging different types of attributes with other attributes, techniques, or people.

<Berserker > (Active) Lv. MAX

MP Cost: Varies

Description: Once a target has been placed under this Enchantment, their body takes on a monstrous form, especially their face: flames pour forth from atop their heads, their teeth become fang-like, and their upper faces become shadowed out, with only their eyes being visible as gleaming rounds.

Their physical abilities are amplified to an incredible extent, although at the cost of their sentience, with the target becoming unable to experience sensations such as pain.

Description: Using Enchant Magic the functional principle behind it is the accumulation and compression of mana into a single point, followed by release. The energy released is comparable to fission or fusion chain reactions, but unlike nuclear reactions, there has been no indication of ionizing radiation.

The Mana is concentrated into a point, leading to a devastating subsequent strike. The impact releases an explosion of magic that disintegrates everything caught inside it.

<All-Range Atomic> (Active) Lv. MAX

MP Cost: Varies

An area of effect of <Atomic > spell modification. A magical-infused point is struck into the ground, discharging power in a set radius around the insertion point.

<Recovery Atomic> (Active) Lv. MAX

MP Cost: Varies

Description: Enchant Magic follows the <Status Recovery> and the functional principle behind it is the accumulation and compression of mana into a single point, followed by release. The energy released is comparable to fission or fusion chain reactions, but unlike nuclear reactions, there has been no indication of ionizing radiation.

This spell has the effects of the attack spell that functions similarly to the standard <Atomic > technique. Mana still damages structures, but individuals are healed instantly with energy recovered and then disintegrated.

A large series of explosions of destruction could be seen somewhere on the Fiore Continent what remained to be the Raven Tail building with a few members of the Raven Tail lying around injured with Ivan Dreyar's body bleeding as Silva dispelled the Enchant leaving Ur shocked.

Silva headed towards Ivan coughing out loud gazing hatefully at his attacker, "Ack!! You… you dared to –"

*BAM*

Slamming his face with his kick Silva muttered happily seeing his <Spirit Art> worked effectively, "The next time we meet Acnologia… you will die. Even you have limits with my cheat <Infinity > like a certain seven deadly sin Merlin once said… It's a cheat-like power."

Witnessing the destruction unfolding clenching his fist Silva smirked as he talked to himself in a proud tone, "Guess its time to truly make my new power a challenge. Can't find anyone strong in Fiore about the time I do Selene's request. Time to complete that Dragon Extermination Request. Hopefully, these Dragon Gods will give me a warm-up for my real challenge against Acnologia."

Next chapter
