Jian Tang walked inside the manor, her steps were fierce. She looked at Li Feng who was reading the newspaper leisurely. He quickly smiled at her. "How was the lunch?" But he quickly realised her tense expression.

"Ask you son." Jian Tang's eyes frowned as she directly walked upstairs to the master bedroom. She threw her heels and bag one after another and sat on the bed trying not to cry. 'She tried so hard to get here, so that she could provide a good future for her children. But she felt like a failure.'

Li Feng waited in the living for Li Jie's return as following Jian Tang only meant a fight at the moment. But to his shock Li Jie walked after 30 minutes huffing covered in sweat, it looked like Jian Tang had specifically left him behind.

"You are back?" Li Feng's words were stern, he was too sure Li Jie had made a mistake at the lunch meeting today. Li Jie looked at his father not wanting to explain anything to him but he didn't have a choice as Li Feng didn't let him go.

After explaining everything to Li Feng that happened at lunch with Leng siblings today, both of them sat in awkward silence. Li Feng hadn't heard Leng Rui showing his dark side openly , not that he underestimated that bastard. But in this matter he sided with Li Jie. "Student Li, it's me your home room teacher Yang" On the other side teacher Yang introduced herself fearing this young master Li had deleted her number. 'No' she quickly got to the topic fearing Li Jie would cut her call. And she was right Li Jie was about to disconnect her until he heard her last sentence.

"Congratulations student Li you secured not only the first rank in the national college examination in the whole school but the whole province with a legendary score of 720…I still can't believe that the second in the province is at 708."

Despite hearing praises from her Li Jie's eye's looked unmoved. But he let her continue.

"Your parents will be proud, the school has decided to invite you and your parents for a medal ceremony from school specifically." Teacher Yang didn't forget to add if only his parents weren't busy as she clearly knew who the Li family was. But she was sure even if Li Jie came from money no parent could be busy when their son got a legendary 720 score, a full score even in the language section.

Hearing her first sentence Li Jie quickly got up from his seat and said goodbye to her. He had completely forgotten about the results being declared today as it didn't matter to him who was once a wanted sidekick in the superhero world. Li Jie slumped on the sofa waiting for her to return but he woke at 11 pm. Jian Tang seemed to have already returned but he missed her. Li Jie sat on the sofa clinching the blanket he thought Ryan gave him. It gave out a soft feeling as if he had been used to it, Li Jie hugged it and walked to his room. His heart was telling to barge in the master bedroom to ask for forgiveness from Jian Tang but couldn't bring himself to do so.
