Today was a very important day for Arc, as today was the day when he will complete the NO.1 MISSION. Of taking over the underground organizations. A few days ago the training for the first batch of Shadow units was completed and the rank 5 enhancement serum did wonders in the new shadow units.

"I have no idea what kind of training Ruby and Jem had subjected them to, but they look like real veterans. Their aura is incredible, and how can they completely control it? It is amazing." Arc said in wonder.

Diana and the rest agreed that Ruby and Jem did a great job in training the shadow unit. Each one has a determined look on their face. Arc knew that many of them are rescued from the criminal organization, so this was kind of a payback to them. So a lot of them are looking forward to this mission.

Arc knew how hard it is to control one's aura completely because he himself was having a hard time doing it...

He decided to participate in today's operation, for which they all gathered in Arc's office to witness and see how the shadow unit's first mission would go. Tiffa even brought some snacks and drinks and was sitting comfortably on the couch with all kinds of treats in front of her. Dianna just shakes her head, and Arc decided to join Tiffa in munching some snacks. For some reason, Arc doesn't feel any nervousness about today's mission. In fact, he felt like he was just watching some kind of movie.

The four of them were seated in front of a huge projection screen on which the camera views of the shadow unit as well as Ruby's and Jem's were showing their combat situations. Eve was in control of the cameras. Arc wasn't here to interfere or give orders; he was only here to watch. He decided to do this in every major operation his Army would be undertaking in the future.

Today's operation is being spearheaded by Ruby and Jem, and Eve's job was to provide real-time intel.

Watching the shadow units make preparations, he felt very excited.

The shadow unit was scattered throughout the area. They were wearing regular clothes so as not to look any different from regular tourists or residents.

The mission was about the group called TWELVE FINGERS. This particular criminal organization was responsible for a lot of murders and kidnapping incidents, as well as many other illegal activities in the City of Los Kantos. Los Kantos is a famous destination for many young rich kids because of the very colorful nightlife there.

During the day Los Kantos is like any other quiet town, but during the night the whole city would wake up as colorful neon lights and 3D projections light up the night sky. Because of the very nature of the city, it has become a nest of many criminal organizations.

TWELVE FINGERS could be considered the biggest one in the city since they had a hand in every single aspect of it, in other words, they were the real masters of the City. Many of the government officials were under their payroll. Almost 80% of government officials living there were corrupt, and the good ones didn't get to breathe for long.

80 shadow units have scattered around the 4 major bases of the TWELVE FINGERS. They were in position and just waiting for the order of Ruby and Jem. Each unit possessed an armament consisting of a handgun and a knife, they didn't even have Body armor on them. Arc was a bit worried, but Ruby reassured him that everything was under control.

The shadow unit was divided into four groups. 2 teams were led by Ruby and Jem and the other 2 were led by Michelle and Dove, two of the most outstanding recruits.

Today was their first operation, but Arc could not see any nervousness or fear in their eyes, instead, what he saw were anticipation and excitement. He was very familiar with the feeling, he wondered how Ruby and Jem trained them so well. There were only 15 males in the shadow unit and according to Eve, the top 10 shadows were all females.

"Shame on you guys, where are your balls?" he thought in his mind as he imagined them being bullied by over 60 girls, and shivered, "I'm glad I'm not one of them," he thought as he gave a prayer for them in his mind.

Of course, none of these things truly happened in training, it was just his imagination running wild. There were competitions and rivalry, but bullying is not part of it. Every Shadow Unit member treats another like true brothers, and sisters would...

"This is UNIT 1 I'm starting the operation,'' said Ruby as she and around 10 plus others followed her at a calculated distance. She walks to the front gate of what looks like a mansion. Two big guys full of tattoos were standing in front of it as guards...

"Sir, can I ask you a question, I'm lost," she approached while holding a map in her left hand and her right hand in her pocket. As she walked closer with a smile on her face, the guards exchanged glances and a lascivious smile appeared on their faces.

To them, Ruby looked like an 18 years old beautiful girl: "Sure!" said the two as they approached her. Suddenly, when they came in her arms reach, there was a flash, and before they knew it their necks ceased to connect their bodies to their heads.

A van immediately parked in front of the gate, covering the action taking place, and in less than a minute the van moved forward, and two new guys were standing in front of the gate as if nothing happened.

She gestured with her hand and the two disguised shadows knocked on the door, and it slowly opened. Clearly, they had already studied the people in this mansion on how they operated. When the door opened, Ruby quickly entered and subdued the guards inside.

They were like babies in front of her. After that, the rest was easy: the shadow unit swarmed the place and in less than 10 minutes everyone inside was subdued. The only casualties were the two guards in front of the gate. Not even a single shot was fired.

Arc watched how the shadow units subdued the criminals and were surprised at how smooth it was. Even He couldn't do it any better, even though he's been training non-stop for more than a few months: "Maybe I should ask Ruby and Jem to train me as well. I felt like I wasted my two months in training, watching those girls. Imagine if they had the training machine with them during their training, wouldn't that have made them even more of a monster?" Arc said in his mind

"Should I hand the training machine to them, hmm.", he was very reluctant to since he liked that machine very much. I have to think this through, I'll decide later." Arc said conflicted

Units 2, 3, and 4 also began their operations simultaneously as Unit 1. Less than 30 minutes later, the whole operation was over. It was a perfect run, he couldn't find a single fault in it. When he praised them for it, he saw Ruby and Jem blushing.

The job, however, was not done yet, in fact, it had only just begun. The cleanup and other after-operations began. Transforming the whole organization is a lengthy process, The operation started early in the morning and was planned to last for at least a couple more days.

After the shadow unit dealt with the main bases of Twelve Fingers, they formed small groups of five to clean the other smaller bases Twelve Fingers had. The rest busied themselves in taking over the various operations of Twelve Fingers. In the afternoon, however, in the basements of one of the Twelve Fingers' main bases, they found many prisons and cages full of people: A lot of them were young girls and boys. Arc's eyes went red when he saw this, he was so angry he couldn't help cursing as Tiffa tried to calm him down, nevertheless, he couldn't help cursing.

Diana and Ash soon excused themselves and went back to work. Only Tiffa stayed with him.

She soon called Jarvis to prepare a meal for Arc. Leaving the two maids in the house to take care of his sisters. Anne and Amy were however busy training in the training machine. They played together with Cosmos as a team and often went on adventures, hunting and having fun. They had even used it for vacation-like settings, which frustrated him even more because they would occupy it day and night.
