Arc, on the other hand, has no idea that those kinds of things are happening around him. The moment he gave Eve the job he never bothers with any of the details he trusted Eve, he wasn't a control freak who wants everything under his control.

Arc was lying on the couch, and he was thinking about what to do next. The first step is complete now, and he was just waiting for Eve to complete the rest of the procedure. After that, the real game would start, With a smile on his face, he imagined what the future would be like for him.

"Alright, you two, I'm going out for a bit. I'll be back later ok, eat up" said Arc

"Oh, and before I go, I plan to replace both of your beds since it's getting smaller for you two. Choose a design you want online, then send me the details. Don't worry about the price."

"And be sure it's comfortable for you both. "

"We got it, big brother, be careful outside." both his sister answers happily

"Sure." Arc put a thumbs up.

He had an appointment with the builders who would renovate the warehouse to his needs, he already said what he was planning to do in the warehouse to Eve, and Eve showed him some renderings of what the warehouse would be like, Eve showed him a lot of designs. Finally, he picks one that can accommodate all that he needs at the moment.

The warehouse he bought from Mike is not very big, but it has a lot of undeveloped land area, and he plans to utilize all of it.

He hails a cab and sat at the back, He told the driver where he needs to go and sat at the back with a relaxed look on his face.

"Alright!" said the driver, 15 minutes later, he was in front of the diamond builder's office.

The Diamond Builder's Office is a three-story building that looks like a mixture of European and Asian mix architectural design it may sound bad but the way it was designed is actually kind of nice, at least Arc likes it.

He entered the building and walked into the reception area, "good afternoon sir, how can I help you?" said the cute-looking receptionist.

The building interior is quite simple, with no over-the-top design, a simple reception desk made of wood with landscape paintings on the back, and in front of it a simple but comfortable-looking couch and plenty of space to walk around.

"Yes, I have scheduled a meeting with Ms. Graft, can you tell her I'm here," Arc said to the receptionist with a slight smile on his face

"Oh, then you must be Mr. Grand." The receptionist answers immediately

"I am." Arc nodded

"she's already waiting for you, please wait a moment I will have someone guide you to her office"

She calls another lady, whispers something in her ear, and goes back to face Arc.

"Mr. Grand, this is Lila, she will take you to Ms. Graft's office." she said with a smile

"Hi, Mr. Grand, I'm Lila. Please follow me. I'll take you to Ms. Graft's office." she gestured with her hand and told Arc to follow her.

Lila is not very pretty, but she projects an aura of a friendly big sister, and with a friendly smile on her face she guided Arc.

"No need to be so formal, call me Arc"

"Lila smiled and said, ok, Arc, follow me please" Lila answered

"Sure, lead the way," Arc ask a few questions about the building designs nothing major just some friendly talks and Lila answered them all with a friendly and cheerful voice. She leads him to the second floor and into the door that said CEO Mia Rain A. Graft.

In front of the door on the second floor, Lila lightly knocked twice and said "Ms. Graft, your guest Mr. Grand has arrived"

"Please enter," said the cute-sounding voice from inside.

Lila opens the door and gestures to Arc to go inside, after Arc went inside, she closed the door lightly and left.

Inside, Arc was greeted by a gorgeous bombshell. Mia Rain A. Graft, the owner and founder of diamond builders, was once a beauty queen and won many prestigious awards. She even appeared on television a few times before.

She won many beauty pageants during her college years, after graduating from an architecture course at the young age of 21, she founded diamond builders inc.

Unfortunately, she came to know the dark side of the business, as most of her clients only wanted to sleep with her. And didn't care about her capability. Some are brazen enough to tell her they will only hire her if she sleeps with them.

Of course, she rejected them all. It has been a couple of years already since she founded the diamond builders, but all projects they got are all small-time businesses, like building a small office or small house or something like that.

Unfortunately, those kinds of projects are not enough to make them float. In fact, if they don't get a big project, they may go bankrupt or close after the end of the year.

She came from a wealthy family, but she ran away from home when her parents tried to arrange a marriage for her.

She doesn't like other people controlling her life, even if they are her parents.

This is her last chance to be in control of her life. If she fails, she may not be able to refuse the arranged marriage set by her parents.

She was surprised when she saw Arc as she received a call from a mysterious girl who claims to be the secretary of the one called Mr. Grand. She assumed her client was another old Fogies or middle-aged guy.

Arc looked at Mia, she was wearing a white blouse with a black blazer on top and looked very professional, but Arc can tell how sexy she is, but it was her aura that screamed sexiness that Arc noticed immediately, It may just be because of his enhanced senses, but he can tell that the girl in front of him is a bombshell even though she was covered professionally, and not wearing any revealing outfit.

Mia notice that Arc's hands are even softer than hers and quite curious about what kind of ritual he does to make his hand that soft. But she pushes the urge to ask.

"Nice to meet you, Mia, I'm Arc Grand just call me Arc"

"Alright, please sit Arc, would like some drinks?" ask Mia

"Thanks, Mia, water would do" Arc answered

Sitting down, Arc said: "Let's talk about the proposal, my secretary has given you. What do you think about it?"

"Straight to the point I like that, I've read and seen the design I would have to say, you have an outstanding architect, as an architect myself I can tell how good it is, every detail is well thought of, it was amazing," Mia said with a tinge of admiration to her voice.

Arc laughed in his mind, of course, it would be very good, it was a 2-star-rank military-grade AI who designed it. It would be more surprising if there was a mistake in it.

"Well, I'm glad you like it, so what do you think? Do you think it can be built in exact details?" Arc asks Mia

Mia looked at Arc, and she didn't see any lust in his eyes, it was a rare experience for her. But it is something she welcomes anytime. It would be a lie if she says she wasn't disappointed. But she likes it and at the same time she was intrigued, "did I lose my sex appeal?" She thought with a laugh.

She could see Arc was very young, maybe two years or so younger than her, guys at that age are full of hormones, especially rich kids like Arc, but she didn't see any of that arrogance that came from typical silver spoon kids.

"She looks at Arc and smiles, it will be difficult, but I'm 100% sure we can do it."

It was at this time Lila came to the office and brought a bottle of water for Arc.

Arc looked at Lila and said with a smile, "thanks, Lila."

Lila smiles back at him and says, "no problem."

Mia looks at Arc and asks, "you know each other?"

"Just now, when I came to your office." Arc replied nonchalantly

Arc looked at Mia and said, "are you sure you can build it exactly like in the blueprint?" It was not like she was doubting her, but he saw the blueprint, and even though he was a layman he can tell how difficult it would be.

Mia was about to joke around, but when she noticed Arc's serious face, she swallowed all that and answered, "I am. So what's the time frame?"

Arc smiled when he heard Mia's affirmation. Although there are a lot of more prestigious builder groups, not many would accept cash as payment. And those that do would most likely have no capability to build the warehouse the way he wants it to.

"Cool!, I don't have a time frame per se, but I would like for it to be built as soon as possible," Arc said with a laugh

"Alright, I can accept that. Can I ask you why you want to pay in cash?"

"Hais, Well, it's a long story."

Arc picks up the bottle of water, opens it and drinks a mouthful,

"But I can give you a short version, or should I say a brief reason."

"I just don't want to let a certain someone knows what I'm doing, as for who that someone is I can't tell you, but I can promise you it's nothing illegal."

"If it's going to be a problem for you, I can understand it, and I'll go somewhere else."

Mia smiled and said, "it's nothing like that. I'm just curious, that's all, forgive me for that."

"There's nothing to forgive Mia, so do we have a deal?" Asked Arc

"Yes, we do," said Mia, offering her hand for a handshake.

Arc grab her hand shook it and laughed, "excellent!" he said

Mia laughed too afterward, and made some phone calls, "I'll have someone write a contract after you sign it, and we're good to go."

The truth is, Mia has already prepared the contract beforehand and gave it to her secretary, as she didn't keep it in her office as she doesn't want to look too eager to her clients, especially the one called Mr. Grand by the mysterious secretary.

The reason she calls it mysterious is that there was no number when she got the call. In this day and age, all calls are controlled by UNITED TELECOMMUNICATION OFFICE, and they make sure all calls are monitored, safe and transparent, meaning criminals can't hide their phone numbers when they call. Since their phone numbers are linked to their citizen ID, all citizens will receive a permanent phone number, and changing it is a very long process.

They chat about some small details while waiting for the contract to be made, and they didn't have to wait long, a few minutes later another beautiful lady enters the office, and delivers the documents, she didn't linger though after she gave the documents as she smiled at Arc and left.

Mia handed the documents to Arc, who pretended to be reading them while, in truth, he was conversing with Eve for verification of the documents a few minutes later Arc signed the documents and handed them back to Mia, who was watching him with a smile on her face.

"Excellent,'' said Mia, and gave him a thumbs up."

Arc laughs and removes the backpack from his shoulder and, handed it over to Mia.

"500k, my initial down payment."

"Mia was surprised, didn't we agree that the initial deposit would be 200k?"

"Yeah, my secretary informed me of that, but since we already agreed here, and you look trustworthy, might as well give you one-third of the agreed price.

Initially, the price for the renovation of the warehouse is only about 50k credit, but with all the addition and expansion, the price went up to 1.3 m credit, Arc decided to upgrade the walls and other things, and the expenditure rose to 1.5 million credit. Eve didn't even bargain about the price when she contacted Mia. Likewise, Mia believed that the one going to do the bargaining with her is the one called Mr. Grand, and so she was prepared for it.
