4 Bucket List #1: Short Hair pt. 2

An awkward silence occured while they're walking. No one dared to speak up about what happend not until Zelan's fake cough.

"Thankyou for today Zelan and sorry for causing you trouble again."

"You're so dumb not to stop the guy who was about to harrass you. Seriously?"

'Is he concern about me?' she asked herself and smiled secretly. But her smile faded when she remembered that Zelan was the type of person who won't care on other's business. Even if he saw you dying, he will just pass by like he had seen nothing.

But now was different. He even dragged Zea out there. This made Zea raised her hopes thinking that she has a chance on Zelan.

"Don't think too much. I didn't help you just because I was concerned but because i need to follow my boss' orders. Yes, when the boss noticed something strange, she called me to look after you. Afterall, it was your bestfriend's mother."

'Ah right. It was only his job.' her mind said which upsets her.

"Still, thankyou for today. I'll just wait my driver here. Please go home safely." she said to him when they reached a bookstore.

Zelan didn't utter a word. He just looked at her plainly for a second and continued walking. After a few steps away from her, he stopped but didn't turned back.

"Mr. Jang. Please call me Mr. Jang in the moments like these. When we're at school, call me the way other calls me, Pres. Never call me on my first name again, we're not that close. Again, forget what happend." then he said and continued walking.

Somehow, she felt a pain on her heart after hearing those words from the person whom she likes. Even if they're just a ruler apart, she never felt so close to him. Her hopes died again.

The next day, while walking on the university, people keep noticing her new look. Her friends were shocked when they saw her coming with a sweet smile. They even looked at each other asking the same question on their heads.

Raffa, her gay friend was mesmerized by her prescence. She was very pretty on her new hairsyle.

"What's with the sudden change?" Frances asked.

"Secret." she just answered.

"Maybe she already discovered Zelan's ideal type." Jade said.

"But Zelan's ideal type is far away from Z's new look." raffa interrupted.

Zea threw a 'what' look at Raffa. Raffa just made a peace sign at her and smiled.

"Zea! Look! It's Zelan!"

Automatically, Zea looked at Zelan's direction. He was holding books. Their eyes met but he never responded to Zea's smile. He just ignored her prescence and passed by.

Her friends noticed the sudden change of emotion of Zea and tried to comfort her. Although, she was already used into it, she felt pain in her heart.
