41 The master of Showing-off, Kane Ryne!

Ji Chen almost choked hearing The System!

"What? Why should I recruit such a twat? She was the one that aggroed me! How could I, the one that was wronged, admit defeat to a little girl like her?"

He wanted to choke The System to death if that was even possible.

The System's response only made Ji Chen angrier.

Ji Chen just remembered about {The Profound Knowlege of True Edge} and instantly started to open it. Last time, he was just starting at the book cover for too long. But this time, he opened the book whole.

A white light started to radiate around the book.

"The heck? What just happened?"

Even with the knowledge that Ji Chen had, he still didn't understand what had just happened.

Dead souls of ghouls had started to surround the book. It seemed much more than Ji Chen had ever seen, his eyes were glowing.

A spirit had started to form from all the dead souls of ghouls! Ji Chen could only draw a cold breath. He couldn't sense the spirit at all! That meant it was beyond him!

"Who has summoned me!?"

The spirit that had just formed seemed like a millennium-year-old demon. The demon had antiques on its body, it made him seem grand and royal, but that wasn't what made Ji Chen draw a cold breath. It was how cool he looked! He could only show admiration in his eyes!

"Answer me, peasant!"

The spirit pointed at Ji Chen. It was as if it was commanding Ji Chen to tell him. Ji Chen didn't mind. He simply told him straight up:

"Old man, it was me!"

Ji Chen said with sparkling eyes. He looked like a little kid when he saw the spirit.

"You dare summon me? I shall show you true hell!"

The spirit started to charge up a cool looking beam, it seemed as if it could instantly destroy planets and galaxies! Ji Chen didn't mind the spirit talking to him like that. After all, he was fascinated by the epic move that he was charging up!

"Old man, don't! This is only the Thirty-Third Heaven! It would probably destroy a lot of it if you fired that!"

Ji Chen advised. He was sure that this spirit was a true master!

But the spirit didn't stop, it still fired. It seemed terrifying close up, even Ji Chen had to nod his head at how much the depth of the attack was! Ji Chen tried using Qi to surround his hands and tried to block his attack.

The spirit could sense Ji Chen's realm as Human, it had thought that Ji Chen was weaker than itself, so it went for the offensive.

Ji Chen closed his eyes as if he was preparing to get hit by a megaton of impact. But it was then...

Ji Chen realised that he couldn't even feel the tiniest bit of pain on his hands. He opened his eyes, only to see that the attack couldn't even get an inch further than the Qi radiating from his hands.

"What? Impossible! How can a mere Human Realm block an attack from my glorious Gold Realm!"

Ji Chen tried to clean his ears with his finger. Did he hear wrong? Gold Realm? So weak?

"How..."

The spirit tried to speak, but he was prodded by Ji Chen before he could finish:

"Gold Realm? So weak?"

The spirit stared dumbfoundedly looking at the youngster. His arrogant and domineering transformed into a kind and cheerful one, it seemed as if he was about ass lick the heck out of Ji Chen:

"Young master, why have you summoned such a low being like myself?"

Ji Chen's face transformed to admiration to disgust.

"How could someone like you look so arrogant and domineering?"

That was the first question that came to Ji Chen's mind. The depth of that attack seemed bottomless, yet it was so weak that it couldn't even reach his hands!

"Your majesty, my real body had created a Profound Knowledge called {The Profound Knowledge of True Edge}! It contained knowledge that would make even the weakest of attacks look domineering! Sadly, the book was lost and I was forever sealed in there forever!"

Ji Chen started to nod. He understood how such a weak move looked so domineering! He then looked at the spirit.

"What about those cool effects that made it seem like your spirit was forming from the souls of ghouls?"

The spirit seemed to have cold sweat running down his face. He looked to be very afraid that Ji Chen would destroy it any second! So it replied to Ji Chen's sentence instantly.

"It was made from Qi!"

Ji Chen asked everything that looked powerful and depthless, but the answer was the same, it was all an illusion. He had an agitated face. He couldn't believe that such domineering looking techniques were so weak!

The spirit was trying to cover its face. Trying to protect it in case Ji Chen went full berserk, but Ji Chen didn't. He asked another question instead:

"What's your name?"

The spirit instantly went from having a hunched back to a straight and noble position:

"The master of Domineering, Kane Ryne!"

Ji Chen was the first to correct it in his mind:
