36 Ful De'than

Ji Chen was actually sleeping pretty well, that was all until he had heard the noise of water splashing. He had woken up and saw that it was an 'insect' Demonic Beast Orb. Ji Chen wasn't bothered enough to try to fight it or make it leave.

Ji Chen was actually quite an easy going guy. He never got involved into something that he didn't want to get involved in. He liked to lay low but bragging was what was on his mind when he talked to someone below him.

He had also seen the many soldiers trying to fight it with all their might. Many might be inspired at such a scene, but Ji Chen wasn't one to get inspired easily. He wasn't biased and was about to leave, well, that was all till the Demonic Beast had spoken taboo words in Ji Chen's language:

"I want to enjoy you all slowly. To be honest, I've had too many women in my life, I've never really tried men..."

Ji Chen almost puked at such words. He wasn't homosexual and didn't mind it too much, but what had triggered him was that the beast was technically doing it without the soldier's consent. He vanished, appearing thousands of metres in the air.

"After just waking up, I was going to let this go since I wasn't bothered by such little insects arguing... But now that you've said something that is taboo in my language, I will have to end you puny life!"

He shouted from above.

"Who are you? Why can't I sense you?"

The beast questioned. He still had that arrogant face making Ji Chen disgusted:

"Something way beyond you peasants! A Deity!"

Ji Chen said domineeringly. He was already mad, nothing could stop him from decimating the beast. He was willing to use the cruellest methods.

Hearing the words of Ji Chen, the beast started to laugh:

"HAHAHAHA! You dare say that to this young lord?"

The laugh was toxic and made Ji Chen even more disgusted:

"What if I do?"

The laugh had really fueled Ji Chen's rage. The beast started to show a serious face:

"You will die, of course! Though I don't know who you are, I can tell that you're probably a higher realm than me because I can't sense you!"

Ji Chen was interested in the words of the beast. He could only listen to the second half:

"But if you try to harm me, then my parents: Kul De'than and Fan De'kla will come after you!"

That was the beast's trump card. It could tell that Ji Chen was an expert judging by how even it couldn't sense Ji Chen's realm.

Lard and the soldiers could only draw in cold breath as they heard the beast name his parents. It was known that there were two factions in the demonic beast community: De'than and De'Kla. Most of the time, they hated each other, but that seemed to be fake as they could already see with their eyes the son of both of the successors!

This information had to be brought to the higher-ups! The whole continent was in danger!

The beast was expecting to see shocked faces, and he did see them! As he saw the shocked faces of the soldiers, he had thought that he was now the one that was in control. The voice also hadn't answered back.

The beast could only start laughing, he thought he had scared off the cultivation master!

"What are you laughing for you dimwit?"

The voice once again came back. The beast's face had turned a shade darker. It felt embarrassed that it had concluded incorrectly and the fact that it likely had no chance of escaping such a monster that he couldn't even sense.

"Are you afraid of my parents? You should just tuck your tail between your legs."

The only thing that the beast could do was go further into the hole of destruction, which was bragging and threatening.

"You think mere beasts of your level can challenge me?"

Ji Chen domineeringly said. He was sure that even if there were trillions of beasts with the same strength as this one, he wouldn't get a scratch on his body!

"You want to go? You better get out of here, I could call both my mother and father right now!"

The beast threatened. It seemed that it had lost all reasoning and tried the worst way of threatening yet coaxing.

"You think I would be scared of such weaklings!"

Ji Chen shouted. His patience was getting worse and worse. He was almost ready to throw the beast in a boiling pit to give it a slow death, but that wasn't cruel enough!

Lard and the soldiers who were witnessing such an event weren't moving at all. They were afraid that even with the tiniest bit of sound, they would be killed without mercy! They couldn't interrupt in the talk of giants!

The beast was struck speechless.

"I'm Ful De'than! You dare try to insult my parents, fight me fairly! Show yourself!"

Right after he said that Ji Chen's shadow hovered in the air.

The beast instantly started to laugh after sensing Ji Chen's strength...
