As Ji Chen opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was a transparent screen floating in mid-air.

"The Hell? Did I actually die from that weird System? Is this where all the people who died by a System go to?"

Ji Chen questioned himself whether he was dead or not.

[Beep!]

[Negative! The host did not die. The Evil God System only read your memories.]

"That wasn't a dream? I've escaped from those horrible teachers?"

It was normal to dream of what you wanted most, right? Ji Chen had always thought of escaping from Rose, Lavender and Lily. They had always demanded 'the seed' from Ji Chen shamelessly.

They knew what 'the seed' meant to Ji Chen, but they selfishly wanted to abuse their power as the teacher to ask for 'the seed'.

He couldn't just give it away! It was a gift and Ji Chen couldn't just sell it out like a toy! That would be ungrateful.

[The host does not need to explain, as I have read your memories, I know what is best for you. I know what you are thinking of right at this moment]

Ji Chen was frightened by what he heard the system say. He didn't want to believe what was spoken by the system.

Ji Chen shook his head and put his head between his arms.

-This isn't real. From reading novels, I know that authors don't believe in their gimmicks, they just use it for entertainment! This is fake!

[Beep!]

[System can also access Host's head. The System is 100% real!]

Ji Chen almost screamed. He was, after all, just a kid who would get frightened easily.

Fun fact about cultivators. Cultivators spend around 1/4th of their time cultivating. Replacing sleep with Cultivation was what normal cultivators did. But Ji Chen always slept at least once every day. He didn't care about the benefits, sleeping was a necessity for him.

The last part of The System glitched, making the 'weird sound as if it was funky.

"Error? HAHAHHA! I am a majestic Divine, nothing can see what is inside this head!"

Ji Chen made a disdainful face to the transparent screen in front of him.

He was quite an easy going guy himself. He just accepted the system, unlike what a sane person would do.

"The Evil God!?"

Ji Chen almost chocked when he heard the name 'Evil God'.

There was always something beyond. Ji Chen had learned this lesson from The Three Greats. Beyond the Mortal World was the Immortal World. And beyond that was the Heavens.

But there was something not many knew, there was something beyond the Heavens!

The Universe was where all of this Heavens, Immortal and Mortal World existed. Multiverse was also something that was confirmed to exist. This was a place where all living beings were 'beyond' the current limit of the Universes.

A legend once existed.

The Evil God was known to be the guardian of the Universe that they currently existed in. But suddenly his disappearance for around a half-a-billion years caused Organisations to spring out of the blue. It was said that the Evil God had left his inheritance and all that was left was to find it.

"You can say that you are a system or something, but you can't just mess around with me by saying that you are the remnant of The Evil God! I'm not such a fool!"

Ji Chen was sure that The System was messing around with him. Evil God? Didn't he disappear around 500 million years ago?

"It was speculated that my brother Mu Lu was the one who received the inheritance! You dare speak lies?"

Ji Chen's eyes started to turn slightly turquoise. It was a sign that he was about to break the power constraint ring.

[Beep!]

[The host can try to attack, but my soul remnant is in another Universe, destroying this Universe is not good]

Ji Chen already knew he couldn't attack because he couldn't sense the System with his Qi.

"Your win, but how do you explain that you aren't in my buddy Mu Lu's body? He was confirmed to have the inheritance? Was he faking it? Impossible! I can see he is such a good guy!"

[Beep!]

[The host is correct! But because Mu Lu has failed his Ultimatum, he has become your slave and lost the system! The System should also correct host. The System had a cold voice. It seemed as if it didn't care about the strength that Ji Chen possessed.

Ji Chen tried his best to sound smart. He used the word brains and average literacy...

"HAHAHA! What is your point? This clip shows nothing!"

[The host used 'shit grammar' and believed in a fake rumour about humans only using 10% of their brain. The System believes that you truly belong in a 'pile of shit']

Ji Chen wanted to punch that mechanical sounding System.

Trying to forget his embarrassment, Ji Chen asked the next question he had on his list:

"What do you mean by Ultimatum?"
