Bidding farewell to grammy and gramps we leave the resident. Not before receiving some presents, though.

I got fifteen books to read on cultivation for beginners. A thick black book on our kingdom's history, around two thousand pages, and six or seven books documenting our schools academic system along with their subjects explained in great detail.

Grammy says to visit her often and I will probably take her up on that offer. One because I love old people I mean they are simply ADORABLE; Two because her makeup and etiquette skills are simply flawless, and I want her to spill the tea on how she learnt it.

On the way back to the palace, daddy informs be about my upcoming banquet and the types of people that will be there.

"When you an official greets you or anyone for that matter, make sure to pay attention to their facial expressions, the eyes and their aura. Always read the aura. It's like a secret weapon our family has. For generations we were able to see another person's aura, telling us if they come with good or bad intentions. You haven't unlocked the inherited ability yet but on the day of the celebration you will know.

Secondly, always keep a neutral mask. People feed off of our reactions so they will do anything in their power to provoke you. Only the bad ones though. Next do not be too friendly because then, people will think you are easy to fool and their will be a day where snakes enter your den and they'll stab you in the back." He looks at me with a serious face and I find myself listening intently to what he has to say.

'Sigh' "look, Mels I know that you are just 3 months old." Three months and 1 week actually but whose counting.

"But I need you to understand that their are a lot of dangers in the world. I can't protect you forever, so it's within you're best interest that you learn how to read people early. It'll benefit you greatly later on in life."

Pain flashes across his enchanting azure eyes but it's gone as quickly as it arrives.

"Otay daddy Melly will lishen." I grab is big hands in my small ones and squeeze his thumb. It's the only way I know how to comfort him. I'm not good with emotions and all that. I mean there is a reason for why the call me the aloof goddess, I am just too emotionless for my own good.

I'm not sure that's always a good thing though.

2 days later (In spongebob voice)

My leisure time has been spent reading up on the cultivation manuals and the different stages.

Their are 7 stages in total with five levels in each one. The order goes like this;

( I will be saying this in descending order from the highest to the lowest.)

Qi Refinding stage - When you cultivate this level your body gives off a royal blue glow with spiritual energy surrounding you. It helps with the fluctuations of key and how to control it's fluctuations. When you have reached the peak of this stage all of your veins and meridians will be as strong as titanium.

Body construction stage- you are basically tearing apart your body bit by bit and rebuilding it back together. When you reach this stage a lavender glow envelopes your body and you absorb the spiritual energy in the air. This stage is slightly harder than the last one as your mind needs to be cleaned of all world thoughts and you must be one with the earth. When cultivating this level you can only do it at night as your basically rebuilding your body. At the peak of this stage your skin will be smoother, 5 facial body parts sculpted to near perfection with hands and feet soft as silk. For women. But when a man reaches the peak of this stage his muscles will be harder and more toned with a lot of power in his punches.

Mental energy refining stage - When cultivating your body gives off a golden hue as you can feel your mind expanding and thoughts of others as well as their locations filter through your brain. This is a dangerous phase because if your core and mind doesn't have a strong foundation you can literally turn crazy.

Core foundation stage- When cultivating this your Dantian filled with spiritual energy forms a core, well basically a root. The stronger your your body and mind the higher level your root will be. Their are 9 levels for your core, depending on how experienced and the texture of your spiritual energy it will vary in color from red being the lowest to yellow, orange, green, blue, purple and the strongest being multicolored.

No one has seen a multicolored spirit root for millenias. The last one to have it was said to have already transcended to the immortal realm.

( I will say the rest if the stages in a separate chapter as i want to focus on the character and her development for now. Ta ta)

For now, since I have just started cultivation and only know couple pages worth of knowledge on it I am at the first stage which is Impurity refining stage. Last night when I was cultivating it for the first time it was so painful. The position I had to be in was a meditation pose. It kind of reminds me of yoga from earth. My baby skin screamed in pain as my pores excreted this black and foul like substance. It covered my entire body and I almost puked. When I couldn't handle the inhumane torture anymore, I passed out.

Right now as in this very moment.

I awake to the sounds of screaming when mom walked into the room. My ears pounded and I soon got a headache. I couldn't take her wails so i started crying also to drown her out.

Twas a stupid decision on my part.

Daddy ran in along with Benjamin and the two started shaking me frantically as if I was dead. Hey morons stop shaking me unless you want me to kill you. Benjamin started shouting at me telling me to wake up.

"Elly wake up please. You're making mommy cry!!!" You idiot can't you s-..

Wait a minute. Why the hell are the lights off. That's when I realized that my eyes were closed. God I feel like an idiot.

I opened my puffy eyes and Dad looks like he's seen a ghost.

"Darling stop crying. See she's awake but....what happened to her eyes."

Daddy passes me to mommy with Benjamin climbing on his back to see whats going on.

"Oh My! Do you think..THE PROPHECY!!!! We have to let the elders know about this."

"Mommwy why is Elly eyes two different culurs." WHAT!!!! WTF!!! This wasn't in the story line.
