3 days later.

In my timeline, humanity didn't even start colonizing Mars but in this one, after another 10-13 years, it will be no different from Earth.

I thought as I looked at the man-made domes doting Mars's surface with terraforming devices reaching high into the sky working tirelessly to slowly terraform Mars which was once again my handiwork a.k.a a technology from the system.

"Attention all crew we will be docking with Martian ETA 2 Mike! I repeat! Attention all crew we will be docking with Martian ETA 2 Mike!"

The navies transport ships Captains' voice sounded through the loudspeakers installed all over the spaceship.

I quickly locked the large space station named Martian with my eyes that could fit the entire Home Defense Fleet inside its berths and countless other both military and civilian spaceships

That also acted as the current headquarters of the navy inside Mars orbit with the space elevator going all the way to the surface.

Einherjar my god killer you will soon taste blood I promise you that...

I thought as I subconsciously started licking my canines while staring at the Martian which held my baby only to get pulled out from my thoughts by Lilith who graduated early and got assigned as my onboard mech battalions vice commander from the get-go.

Because although she was a pain in the ass she was just that good at what she did together with other outstanding cadets from different majors who will serve onboard my ship.

"F*ck I want a drink cant they hurry the f*ck up!"

"This goddamn b*tch!"

I cursed under my breath while shooting daggers at her who after noticing my look immediately calmed down together with the other mech pilots who were picked by the dean himself and they were the cream of the crop from this year's batch.

Hmph! At least she seems to have finally learned her place after the last trashing I gave her.

"Judging from the size of the mech compliment we must be getting either a modified cruiser or..."

Aurora wearing her new black beret with a bloodred headless knight covered in black spiked armor resting his greatsword on his right shoulder just like mine started saying only for me to give her the answer mid-sentence.

"It's a new generation warship called Einherjar"

"Einherjar its from Norse mythology if I'm not wrong it means an army of one the one who fights alone basically a god killer only a psycho would give a ship a name like that"

Aurora voiced her thoughts out loud.

"Well you're looking at the one who designed it and named it"

I said with a dead serious face causing Aurora to raise an eyebrow in suspicion only to choose to believe me the next second after all too many outlandish things happened already she might even believe me If I said I was a transmigrator.

Soon, the transport ship entered one of the Martian hangars which was protected by a blue energy barrier that kept the air from being sucked out which was also my handiwork, and docked with the extendable personnel bridge.

After getting off the ship I together with Aurora went straight towards the Marshal's office while Lilith dragged her muscleheads and everyone else to the bar first thing after getting off the ship.

Once I arrived at the Marshal's office just as I was about to scan the microchip implanted in my wrist the round door immediately opened up revealing the marshal I mean my father leisurely drinking his morning coffee as he read through the holographic reports displayed before him.

As I was about to ask for permission to come in my adopted father spoke out.

"Come in Drac as for you Aurora..."

The marshal started saying only to pause as he looked apologetically at Aurora.

"Where ever I go she goes"

I said without any room for negotiation causing the marshal to sigh as he leaned into his chair.

"Fine don't blame me later"

I couldn't help but raise my white eyebrow with a relatively fresh scar running through the middle of it courtesy of Lilith at my father's words as I dropped my black duffle bag on the floor and sat down on the couch.

"This is your appointment, have a look."

After Aurora also sat down once she placed her duffle bag next to mine the marshal sent over my official appointment document which had a big red holographic stamp top secret on it to my military-grade phone.

I quickly opened the document and glanced through it, at first everything was just as I expected but the more I read the bigger my frown became.

"Sir, why the large complement of manufacturing and research facilities not to mention the additional space which is enough for seven more Einherjars, and why is that guy there?"

I asked after putting down my phone.

"Alright first of all then it's only us no need for honorifics after all officially you're my son as for her I'm sure you already knew from the moment you met her that she's the prime minister's daughter"

The marshal said while pointing to Aurora who wasn't surprised by the marshal's words at all at his point.

"Second after becoming your father, I learned quite a few things about you from the president, such as that you were the one behind the major technological breakthroughs in the past years including for providing the design of Einherjar for R&D"

As the marshal finished his words a silence enveloped the office.

"So she told you about it huh?"

I answered as I crossed my hands behind my head and placed my black waxed and polished combat boots on the alloy coffee table.

Seeing my nonchalant look the marshal couldn't help but ask the question that he wanted to ask for quite some time already.

"You know if you were made in a laboratory in my eyes you're still my son"

The marshal said without any dishonesty in his voice only eyes filled with fatherly love which to be truth be told was kind of creepy in my eyes I mean the man is infertile but isn't this too much?

But seeing Aurora's eyes that were about to pop out from her sockets and the opened wide mouth I decided to tell half a truth after all even If I did say the truth these two wouldn't believe it they would only think that I'm lying.

"I wasn't created in a laboratory as for my abilities lest just say that after I almost died something in me changed"

I said while unzipping my uniforms jackets collar allowing both the marshal and Aurora who more or less already saw my grotesque barbed wire scar to have a good look at it.

Seeing the scar the marshal couldn't help but suck in a breath of cold air.

"I see..."

Seeing that there was nothing more he could get from me the marshal decided to send me on my way.

"Alright son Einherjar is officially in your hands, don't let me down!"

"Yes, sir!"

I answered as I stood up and performed a salute.

[Ding]!

[Congratulations to the Host for completing Task 1]!

It seems like it's about time I delivered some goodies again to that guy.

I thought as I started grinning after seeing the system's notification while exiting the marshal's office.

Ten minutes later after boarding the onboard electrical train, we both arrived at the hangar code-named Ragnarok.

"Let me guess you named it as well didn't you?"

Aurora asked as we stood in front of the security door for personnel next to the large one designed for vehicles that were guarded by marines geared up in black exoskeleton armor.

That had a bloodred serpent eating itself painted on their right shoulder armor plates and over 20 feet tall pitch black humanoid knight class mechs.

The exoskeletons were a reward from the system and the mechs were made based on the technology I provided just like the humanoid robotic workers which were now inseparable from humanity's economy.

Without them, humanity couldn't have held out as long as it did because humanity's population was just too small.

"What gave it away?"

I asked while rolling up my sleeve to which Aurora only rolled her eyes.

"Welcome, onboard Captain Von Death and Commander Blake!"

The commander of the marine squad currently responsible for security saluted both of us after confirming our identities by scanning our wrists with the scanning devices inbuilt into their fully-enclosed helmets.

"At ease also did the others check in already?"

I asked after saluting back.

"No sir!"

Hearing this I felt my temple's blood vessels threaten to burst.

"F*ck if they don't check in before lights out drag them over here by any means necessary! Any questions?!"

"No, sir!"

The commander answered again while giving a salute.

"Let's go"

I said with a slightly irritated tone as I picked up my duffle bag and slung it on my right shoulder.
