5 Chapter 5: SS and Berlin

Time passed and the journey resumed, the elves had breakfast served by the Garrison and then was sent to Metz Railway Station, which was occupied by the Army and the SS so that the train could only take the elven entourage and Otto.

The same is happening in other cities where the train passed and stopped, the citizens were confused by this but they didn't dare to ask or bother because it was a Government Decree.

The elves enjoyed the scenery during the trip to Munich, which they had to stop because some important people were going with them, which caught the attention of the King and Princess.

Soon they saw entering their carriage a man wearing Black Military clothes with a Red Band on his right arm containing the symbol of the NPDAP, showing that he was from the SS, Elion, and Eliara wondered if the men who wore SS uniforms were some kind of senior officer.

Behind the man were 2 SA Stormtroopers as his escort.

"First Lieutenant Schmidt, I am SS-Oberscharführer Wolfang Weber, I was sent by the Reichskanzler to be part of your group." Said the man while giving the NPDAP salute to Otto, as Otto was not part of the NPDAP he just gave a normal military salute.

This confused the elves even more, as they both gave different salutes and used different official titles, they couldn't understand if the man in black was superior to Otto or if they both had the same rank but with different names.

Soon Wolfang also greeted the elves, who also greeted out of respect, so the train started moving again, with the landscapes changing again, but with an uncomfortable silence on the part of the Elves.

Soon time was passing and while the trip continued for hours, they finally managed to see the lights of the city of Berlin, which was still being rebuilt, the elves were once again amazed by such a scenario, even though Berlin was a little destroyed because of the Civil War.

When they arrived in Berlin, they were then taken from the Railway Station to a State-controlled Hotel so that they could spend the night as they will be meeting the German Diplomats tomorrow, the rooms they were given were better than the Garrison ones they were in before, but what they didn't know was that they were being monitored by the RSHA.

/Kaiser's Office/

Kaiser Wilhelm II and Reichskanzler Reinhard Heydrich were discussing how they should proceed with this new discovery, both were concerned that the situation they were in could only mean that they were no longer on Earth.

"If such a theory is confirmed...it could be a blessing for the Kaiserreich" Said Wilhelm II as he sat in his chair, Heydrich nodded in agreement with what the Kaiser said.

What Wilhelm said was not an exaggeration, because if they were in another world, it meant that they would not have to worry about the old enemies that Germany had on old Earth, because the enemies were many, more than the allies they had in Europe.

The European powers did not like that the entire German Region had been unified, mainly by Prussia, which had a very militaristic culture, because of this, the Franco-Prussian War occurred in their Earth, as Napoleon III tried to prevent German Unification by the Prussians, but in the end, they were defeated and Alsace-Lorraine became part of the German Empire.

After that, Germany was surrounded by enemies, the Alliance led by Germany, the Central Powers, only had Bulgaria, Sweden, the Ottoman Empire, and Greece as members, which was not much compared to the Entente, which had several members and one more powerful than the other.

Wilhelm II and Heydrich had no doubt that the Communists had been supported by the Entente so that they could damage Germany and could get stronger during that time or even invade after they were weakened, so it will be a relief if they are in another world, as it means that they can recover and become stronger.

Of course, Heydrich wanted more than that, he wanted the Kaiserreich to be the only World Power, anyone who stood in the Kaiserreich's way would be killed or sent to the Concentration Camps that his SA and SS are creating for communists and traitors who are still in prison.

"Heydrich, who do you think should be sent as a Diplomat?" asked Wilhelm II as he looked at Heydrich, who snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the Kaiser.

"I think we should send Ribbentrop to negotiate with these 'elves', Your Majesty" replied Heydrich, with Wilhelm II nodding in agreement.

Another day

The Day has arrived, and the elves will finally have contact with the German Diplomats, they were delighted with everything they saw but also worried that they might be rejected and not get Political Asylum, the most worried being King Elion and Princess Gweyir.

King Elion and Princess Gweyir were allowed to bring a mage to help with communication, in addition to bringing Eliara, they were then escorted by some German Soldiers to an Embassy that was vacated during the time of the Civil War, where negotiations would take place.

When they arrived at the embassy, they were taken into a room where none other than Joachim von Ribbentrop, a diplomat famous for the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact on the original Earth, which was a Non-Aggression Pact between Hitler's Third Reich and Stalin's Soviet Union, in addition to being a pact that divided Poland between the two countries.

With him were other diplomats who were there as auxiliaries, in addition to several German soldiers in the room.

"Your Majesty, I am Joachim von Ribbentrop, I will be leading the negotiations on behalf of the German Empire" Ribbentrop said as he bowed to Elion and Gweyir, who also bowed in respect.

"Pleasure sir, I'm Elion Yelfir, King....in Exile, from the Elven Realm of Unal Ancalen" Said Elion with a smile on her face, but his smile fell a little when he said his exile part.

"I am Gweyir Yelfir, Princess in Exile of the Elven Realm of Unal Ancalen, pleased to meet you, Lord Ribbentrop." Said Gweyir cordially to Ribbentrop, who nodded and offered chairs to sit on, when everyone sat down, they officially began negotiations.

"So, Your Majesty, first of all, we would like to know some information if possible...." Ribbentrop said while looking at King Elion.

With that, the German negotiations with the first of the many peoples of this new world would be taking place.
