Ezra’s Redemption is a book about a young female who goes through many life events some of which everyone goes through and others not so much. She becomes stronger with each obstacle she is faced, but as she gets older she has to decide whether taking revenge on her enemies is worth risking or ruining her future. Author’s note: I HIGHLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE 16 years or younger to read this unless your parents approve or you don’t mind reading about explicit and traumatizing events. I will update this story frequently and this will be a series. I plan to make at least a sequel possibly a third book as well. FEEL FREE TO COMMENT, VOTE, AND SHARE! They say you're only a kid once and tell you there's a happy ending for everything. That's beginning to become something that's just in fairytales because someone always seems to get hurt, lost, or broken along the way of a thing we all called life.
Ezra was her name and a beautiful baby she was but misery soon haunted her life shortly after birth. She was innocent and only six months old asleep in her crib. Her parents were wealthy and had enough money to buy her whatever she wanted. If only she had grown up to be one of those girls things might have turned out differently.
It was a chilly fall night and Ezra's parents were watching a movie after laying her down. She was all they dreamed of and everything they wanted. Within fifteen minutes of the movie starting glass shattered all over the living room floor. Ezra's mother screamed as she saw glass shards everywhere from the living room window breaking and a man in a mask standing there with a bat. Another man was behind him with a gun.
"Don't make this hard on yourselves! Give us the money or else we light this house up tonight," Screamed the man with the gun.
Ezra's father held his wife and shook his head. He had too much pride to just let some strange men come in and take everything they worked for.
"Please just leave us alone! We'll leave and you can have the house and everything in it," Ezra's mother screamed.
Ezra's father hollered, "No, this is our home and our family! We have worked for this all they don't deserve it!"
The man with the bat laughed and started bashing anything he could find in sight. Shortly after Ezra started screaming and crying from upstairs. Both of the men were in shock that there was a baby.
"We do this now or never!" Screamed the man with gun.
Seconds later the man with the bat bashed Ezra's mother's head and kept swinging until he saw blood. At the same time the man with the gun shot three shots and killed Ezra's father on the second. Both of Ezra's parents were killed and Ezra was left alone and shortly after was put in foster care.
