1 Chapter 1: Ruins of Hell

I can still hear it.. the same notes being played in my head over and over

again.

3 days ago... I was walking home from a run, as I walked past a forest I turned my head, mesmerised to find ruins of a castle. I entered, and saw everything destroyed, my eyes widened at the sight of a piano untouched from everything. I approached it cautiously though with curiosity. I sat down on the chair, and played  a few notes "huh" I exclaimed.

I got up to explore, just as I did I heard footsteps near me, I turned in a haste to find nothing, and so I thought of it as nothing, I continued exploring around the castle to find a dusty box I looked at it with confusion and why it hadn't been destroyed. I headed home, and took the box with me.

However, as I returned I heard footsteps behind me, but I ignored it, since I had assumed that it was probably someone heading home like me.

The footsteps got faster, and faster so I tilted my head, to my shock I saw no one. I turned my head back and I saw it.

A pale, disturbing face, blood red eyes glaring through my soul along with a toothy grin

"Boo"

"AAAAAAAAAA"  I screamed.

The box clattered to the ground making a mess I turned my head to the box, but when I looked back, that "thing" was gone. It made me terrified so I ran back home.

Once I got there I locked all the doors and windows, scared of what I had seen. I went to my room, and opened the box.

Inside of it I saw a letter, it was burnt from the edges. I read it out loud "My heart fluttered in excitement when I realised that you were the one I had been searching for - Love, Aerith."  "woah" I exclaimed, keeping the letter aside I saw a picture of someone it seemed old I turned it around, and found a poem. "You brought me sunshine when I only saw rain. You brought me laughter when I only felt pain - Arthur"  I put the letter down and saw the time "well, it's getting late I better sleep" 

I put the box on the table next to me, and slept.
