Going to Jiangbei University

The atmosphere at Jiangbei University was rather tense today.

The students did not see any major changes but the perceptive ones could identify the subtle changes.

The school itself was cleaner than it ought to be. The old buildings got long-awaited maintenance and the fading markings were reworked.

Even the workers were not as casual as they usually were. New workers were suddenly brought in and even non-existent posts were made from thin air so that they could blend in.

The security guards were all replaced and even the old uncle who took care of the gardening was replaced by a rather rough-looking guy.

He did not seem to be suited for the work, but his professionalism said otherwise.

Even the teachers were dressed you might think that there was an official visiting the school or something.

Even the notorious ones who only collected attendance without doing anything were very seriously preparing for today's lectures.
