165 Where that came from?
The back door is the most direct way to escape towards the gate.
Spencer and the team are already going into the house, but Chambers already knows what is happening and is near the exit, I don't think that they will be able to get there in time.
Chambers is running away with a lot of people.
Eight guards, three of them are semi-humans. One of them has some similarities with the man-bull that Spencer fought before, his horns are smaller, and he isn't as big either. He doesn't look as threatening as the one from the farmlands. There is also a pale guy without a nose that keeps licking the air with his bifid tongue, I think this one is the one that Dante said can spit a poison mist.
The last one is a guy seems more like a beast than a human. Think of an alligator, cut off the tail… make the limbs larger… dress him with a shirt and jeans, make him stand on two legs and look at the front with his alligator head… that's it.
The other five looked normal, one of them seems bulky, but besides that, there was nothing more.
He left the bulky guy together with the semi-bull, I don't think he believes that they are going to be able to stop them, but he is just trying to buy time.
Spencer is worried about the Sniper. I think that Paws might be able to prevent him from concentrating and shooting if necessary.
Taking a quick look through Paws that keeps moving around to get the information I found that Ramsey is now at the gates waiting for a report to know what is happening. Hamilton didn't go to the gates but to look at the blood pool.
It made sense, if there is someone capable of getting inside their base there is always the possibility that they know a little of what is happening here… and the objective would be to destroy the blood pool. I don't think they want to fight Hamilton so this are good news.
I have been trying to think a lot what can be that secret mission. I thought of the mysterious woman, and maybe the reason that it was hidden was that we didn't know her or that the objective was another unknown member of the NDR. There is also the possibility that the mission was regarding the kidnapped people there have been already two missions with this topic. Finally the destruction of the blood pool, I understand why Spencer is ignoring it, but I can't help but be curious about it.
Lucy was looking at Yaxley, he was checking the wounds of the corpses on Pollard's house. There were no clues about any other NDR member. From what lucy can see they will take Pollard's body to the blood pool.
Right now Spencer and Milo are about to arrive at the kitchen, where the two bulky guys were ready to fight. I think they are going to defeat them, but Chambers is escaping.
Spencer lunged towards the bulky man. He can see a high vitality on him, so this guy has an absurd regeneration. As Hayley was focusing on just two targets, the frosting process was faster than before…
Her power is so beautiful and amazing why I didn't get that one?
The legs of the semi-human were barely moving right now, and Milo was taking care of it. The one that was fighting with Spencer, beside the regeneration, also has something similar to his Adrenaline Burst. From Spencer's knowledge and what he can see, he is using it to bump the blood faster and to raise the temperature of his body at the cost of vitality to prevent the freezing, I think that this one is a servant.
He knows that he will not survive, so he threw an ax towards the backline. It got stuck on Mark's Shield but neither he or Hayley got hurt by it.
The first of Spencer's combos wasn't enough to do enough damage, so he is working in another one.
Before Chambers escape, I have to at least try to do something… I just hope it works.

The man-bull just fell, and Milo joined me in the fight against this guy.
He was giving his all to no let us continue. The bulky man was under the effects of a boost type power, so he is probably going to die anyway if this keeps going, but all we can see on his face is the decision to keep this fight going as long as possible, in the end, he will be dead either way.
I'm also a little worried about Rose, she has been informing me about the situation constantly, but she suddenly said that she wanted to try something and went towards Chambers.
I didn't want to do this since it was going to take longer, but I had to change the weapon infusion from delay to the one that prevents him from regenerating. After the fall of the other guy, the signs of frostbite finally started to appear on this one too, so both effects make it harder for him to regenerate his wounds. From time to time he would try to counter attack and even throw something at Hayley, always disguised as an attack towards us. This is why I hate tanks. Mark prevented all those tries, and he got a little injury on his leg.
After depleting his vitality he fell down, he couldn't handle the boost any longer and just died, it wasn't even needed for us to kill him on our own, but since he killed himself, in the end, I didn't get system points from it.
I wanted to follow Chambers, but I couldn't let Mark wounded, he was protecting Hayley, and even the tiniest detail might come back at us in the next fight.
I was thinking of going back to Green Shelter, it was sad, but if he runs away and we failed the mission, there was nothing we could do. I'm not risking them for this.
I was still pondering, but when I finished healing Mark's leg, I got a notification.

We had to move fast we went out of the house through the back door and together with Milo we went faster ahead to catch up with Chambers group. I was able to do this because right now I don't feel the threat of the sniper, maybe he is focusing on another area now.
As we got ahead, it didn't take us much time to find a group of five people surrounding a corpse.
There was one of the checking him, but I knew that it was already too late to save Chambers. I slowed them and got ready to strike while they were busy if we can kill at least one before the all-out battle it will be enough.
As I got near, I finally identify the object on Chambers back. It was the dive knife that I got and used for a while before coming to Green Shelter.
I wish I know how Rose did it, but right we have to recover the body and get the hell out of here as soon as possible.
It was unlikely to take down the alligator-man with a quick strike. The snake-faced man gave off a dangerous feeling. So the objective had to be either the man that is taking out the dive knife or one of the others normal humans. Those that remained here were the most dangerous that we had fought until now.
There are two semi-humans. One of the aura of the others was something that I haven't felt before, another one had the aura of a Jumper, he has a mace on his hand, and I got a feeling that this might be the one that attacked Ines. The third one also had an unknown aura, but it was fierce and hot, it made me think of a pyromancer right away. The last one is another one with enhanced senses.
As I was inspecting their formation, Rose came to my side. She looked tired but had a little smile on her face.
'I did it.'

Hi, later today I will be uploading Special Christmas Chapters. There are going to be 3 of these chapters and I will be releasing them today and tomorrow.
They take place in the world before the meteor shower, so there is not much story but it helps to understand a little more about the characters and a sneak peek of how things were before this all happened.
I'm going to leave them on the Vol. 0 so they will be at the start of the navigation panel.
I'm telling it here because I don't know if the chapters are going to appear on the app or be announced as the chapter are usually announced.
