Once I finished with Johanna's leg, I went to Hayley and Dante. Unlike most cats, Dante didn't have problems with water, so he was a little wet, but a lot cleaner than before. Actually, he looked funny with most of his hair glued to his body.

I had to restrain Dante with one hand, and he scratched me on retaliation.

After laughing a little more Hayley finally decided to help me, and she held Dante and patted him.

I finished with the ointment under Dante's hateful gaze.

After 5 minutes of intense suffering under Hayley's hands, and half an hour trip to get the things he asked me, I was back at Johanna room were Dante was playing with Dana with his paws fully healed.

Hayley gave me a wry smile.

"She got out of school, but Isabella is still with Frederick, so I went to pick her up."

I left the 4 cans, and the milk on the floor without open them…

Besides that, the system told me to let you rest, so I thought it wasn't necessary for you to know what was happening. Otherwise, you would have come right away, and I would have failed the mission~.'

I opened one of the tuna cans' he was hungry and devoured the contents of the can right away.

As he told the story, I opened another tuna can for him to eat that he ate as eager as the previous one.

'We planned~, Cai-Cai was going to wait on the sewers looking cute for the rats moral, Pinky was on charge of the distractions and the rescue of the remaining of the team~. I on the other side wanted to make as much damage as possible, make the preparations for the escape~, and spy on Hamilton, he almost noticed me but I managed to do all that~. Give me the milk.~'

I saw more information about the NDR that is a little worrying, the NDR has a method to communicate between all the regional groups, they are all moving to take control of the cities that they are each at. Beside this, James Hamilton is still alive… I don't know more details about this, I had to leave his mind before I could dig more and I had to focus on the Blood Pool~.'

I nodded, the backing of external forces was indeed worrying, if they have a communication method they might have a way to help them in the case that they are in troubles. Like now that they have lost most of the troops and are in a weakened state, if it wasn't because of the Aurora Clinic situation I would even propose a preemptive strike.

I saw Dante was silent and looking at me, so I opened the last can of tuna. This time he ate a little slower than before so at he is satisfied. He moved to be pet by Dana and continued talking to me on his mind.

'The blood pool had two main functions, the first is related to the goons that we have seen. First, Cecily, they classify the people they get, they need to know two things about them, the first if they would be troublesome. Ramsey's ability is able to break their mind, so they become a simple puppet, they are some that could resist this process, those are just killed to not waste time and energy on them, or completely broken, those that will be half broken became servants and it kind of the highest tier for the people they receive. They retain part of their personalities, but they are no able to think for themselves.

The second thing they need to know is if they can survive the Blood pool, those that can't survive are also killed, all those that die be it animals or people got bleed out and go to fill the blood pool. Those that are half broken usually don't resist the blood pool, but there are some exceptions like the sniper. The rest are mostly mindless goon that are just powerful pawns~. More milk.'

That was all I have left.

'Those that are known that will survive are thrown into the pool, and Hamilton converts them, he is able to change, take and give the powers, I'm not sure how it works but Hamilton thinks that is related to a mutation influenced by the DNA of specific blood within the pool. That way he can take a normal person and create an Esper~.'

'Yep, and Hamilton can also change his own power, he can have up to 3 powers at once, but he can't take his blood mutation ability out, so he has two additional abilities which he changes constantly~.'
