A Pile of Organized Chaos

"When the world throws shit at you, you have no choice but to face them head-on, even if it means risking your life."

. . .

. . .

. . .

Ada involuntarily flinched as her gaze met Fry's pitch-black eyes.

For some reason Fry looked different today, more intimidating than usual, like he was finally ripe to show his metal.

She hesitated when she realized he was going to take advantage of her in some way... She didn't want to be part of Fry's business in any way.

But she had no other choice, what Fry offered was what she had wanted for so many years... The desires she had buried deep inside her heart had spilled over again and were threatening to explode...

Ada bit her bottom lip lightly before finally nodding to Fry in front of her..

"You'd better not go back on your words... Fry... I'll take your offer so come on, tell me what you want..."

Fry smiled broadly as he sat on his office chair. Ada felt her nerves tighten as she waited for his next words to know what he wanted, but the answer almost made her mouth touch the floor.

Fry raised both his hands in an ignorant way as he answered with a smile…

"I don't know."

Silence fell on the room for a few seconds before Ada digested Fry's words.

Ada pulled up her clothes as she screamed for the thousandth time:

"So you're messing with me after all!"

"Here you are spouting the same nonsense again. I told you I'm signing the Aura contract, so where's the mess?"

"But you said you wanted something in return!"

Fry shrugged nonchalantly before replying, "I did, but I haven't figured out what I want yet. Let's decide on that

another time."

Ada muttered under her breath, visibly irritated by Fry's indifferent attitude.

"You claim you will abdicate the position of Lord, yet you have no idea what you want in return... It doesn't make sense."

He leaned back in his chair, resting his head on his palm.

"And why the rush? The Aura contract won't be ready anytime soon. Besides, I can't relinquish the position until I turn sixteen and become an adult, which is still a few months away."

Ada couldn't refute Fry's logic, knowing deep down that he was right.

Seeing Ada yield to his argument, Fry continued with a smile.

"We have ample time, Ada. Why not stay here for now? It's been a long time since we lived under the same roof, hasn't it? We'll also have plenty of time to prepare for the years ahead..."

"I? Live with you? Here?"

Ada shivered at the thought, visibly repulsed, while Fry maintained a blank expression, unaffected by her exaggerated reaction.

"Your old room is still as it was... and I won't bite you"

Ada's mind raced, realizing how quickly she had contemplated accepting Fry's offer earlier. It was alarming how much of Fry's past actions had influenced her. These were her current thoughts.

Of course, Ada's position didn't materialize out of thin air. It was the result of the countless misdeeds Fry had committed in the past. Ada couldn't forget the day she caught him ruthlessly torturing one of the maids... He was merely ten years old at the time...

After what felt like an eternity, Ada finally surrendered, uttering her decision.

'Ican stay with Fry for one month and assume the title of Lord... Yes, it's worth it. I'll be able to keep a close eye on Fry and see if he's up to anything... Yes, that's not a bad plan.'

Seeing that, Fry could only nod in acknowledgment.

"I look forward to working with you... sister," he said.

However, Ada shook her head in response. She no longer wanted to hear those words from Fry's mouth, considering him nothing more than a little devil.

Suddenly, Ada noticed that Fry was once again clicking into the void above his desk. He had been doing this earlier during their discussion, which left her perplexed.

"Fry, why do you keep clicking into space? Are you crazy or playing some kind of trick on me?" she questioned, a hint of suspicion in her voice.

Frey tilted his head and glanced at his personal computer upon hearing Ada's words.

"Clicking in the void?" he repeated, realizing something important. He raised his computer in front of Ada with one hand, indicating her to look closely.

"Don't you see this?" he asked.

Ada narrowed her eyes, focusing on Fry's hand. "I see what? Your hand is empty," she replied, her confusion growing.

Fry chuckled lightly, his laughter reminiscent of a villain who takes pleasure in torturing his victims.

"Nothing, nothing... it's just a habit I use to relieve stress. No need to worry about it," he dismissed.

"Hmph, who on earth would worry about you?" Ada retorted, irritated by Fry's behavior.

His laughter continued, fueling her annoyance.

"Yeah, I know. Anyway, let's continue our discussion later. I believe we've addressed the most important points. I'll order the aura contract myself, so you can leave," Fry suggested.

Ada clicked her tongue, eager to escape the room.

"And who would want to be in the same room with you anyway?" she muttered before hastily exiting, leaving Fry alone.

Yet, she couldn't resist stealing one last glance at him. Her mind was consumed by a single question: "Is that really the Fry I know?"

With those thoughts lingering, Ada finally departed.

. . .

. . .

. . .

I was left alone in my giant room again... "Good... very good."

I murmured slowly. . . With my last conversation with Ada, you had already achieved a lot. . . I killed not two birds, but a whole flock of birds with one stone. . .

It may seem foolish to abdicate the position of Lord but it was indeed the best decision. . . Frey was indisputably the disgrace of the Starlight family. . . The position of Lord brought many misfortunes that far outweighed its benefits.

Now I made Ada Lord with her obligated to do what I wanted, it's like preserving my powers while avoiding all dangers.

Ada was a highly lauded genius in charge of most of the family's business and finances. . . so there are hundreds of ways to benefit from her.

The Starlight family has a lot of wealth that I would be more than happy to have.

Money and skills.

These two were the most important thing i needed from this family.

As for the sword style, I had a plan up my sleeve to obtain it already but I wasn't ready yet.

I took another look at my resume and focused on the aura feature. . . darkness.

This was one of the reasons why Frey was nicknamed the Disgraced Starlight.

From the founder of the family down to its last lord, the previous lords possessed the property of light that could evolve into the most powerful supreme property "star".

On the other hand, Frey possesses darkness that can evolve into shadows. The Lord of the Starlight family cannot use the family's strongest weapon, the Star Aura, as all the techniques provided by the family are related to this property.

Fry's A-class talent may be good, but it in no way covered up the rest of the disasters, especially since his father was an SS-class monster.

But even though this element was what caused Fry to be called a disgrace, it really suited me. . . After all, the style I want depends on him in the first place

I needed to prepare myself for the upcoming journey in a month's time to acquire the desired sword style. To do that, I had to address the mess with my stats.

That night, I stayed up experimenting with the author's tools in various ways, getting myself ready for the future. By morning, I realized I had spent the entire day tinkering with the computer, which seemed to have an inexhaustible battery, a fortunate feature considering the lack of charging options in this world.

Observing my computer, I remembered that Ada couldn't see it. This worked to my advantage, as it would be disastrous if someone discovered what I could do with it. I no longer needed to worry about that in the future.

To summarize my discoveries over the past few hours, first, if the advice provided, whether random or direct, doesn't fulfill my requests, I won't lose achievement points since my score remained at 100.

Secondly, I learned that I couldn't create overpowered superpowers or nonsensical skills. Whenever I attempted to input massive skills like "SSS class Sight Kill," an incomprehensible amount of achievement points appeared, with a mocking message from the clown, "Kill my ass, you lazy author. Do you think it's that easy?"

Suppressing my frustration, I resisted the urge to throw the computer out of the window. On a positive note, talents were more affordable than skills, with swordsmanship talent costing nearly 500 achievement points, a considerable amount for someone like me with only 100.

As for skills, I decided to acquire existing ones and gradually develop them rather than creating them from scratch. I discovered this while examining Fry's only skill, "Infatuation." It dawned on me that I could enhance skills using achievement points.

Recalling that foolish skill, I couldn't help but click my tongue. With all the available resources, Old Fry had chosen such a pointless skill. Regardless, thanks to the achievement points, I would be able to enhance my skills in the future.

However, my current point total was insufficient to make any significant progress. Consequently, I had no choice but to undertake tasks to earn more points.

I looked at the tasks in front of me and couldn't help but sigh.

Side tasks:

10 km run: 5 achievement points (one day)

100 push-ups: 5 achievement points (1 day)

100 Sword Slash: 10 achievement points (1 day)

Slap Ada's Butt: 100 achievement points

Harassment of a maid: 15 achievement points

I looked stupidly at the tasks in front of me... Why are the frivolous tasks the ones that give the most points? And slapped Ada's butt? I'm sorry, but I don't want to die anymore.

. . .

. . .

. . .

Huff...Huff...Huff

So here I am running in the back garden doing the daily tasks because it was the only thing I could do..

I remember the look of the servants and Ada when they saw me doing the exercises... It was something they never expected to see in their lives..

Although my body was considered strong by normal human standards, it was nothing compared to others in this world… This was inconsequential if you looked at Fry's status… I mean people like him should be given the best resources for cultivation…

But now I was out of breath after running only 10 km...

This was for sure...

I lay down on the green grass of the garden, and I was sweating, resisting this body's overwhelming desire to take a shower..

Unfortunately I had to do this because the rest of the tasks were impossible...

Slapping Ada's buttocks was not possible, and harassing the maid also became impossible after Ada was made to stay here in.

(Author's note : There is no harem and there will be no relationship between fry and ada, it's just this damned system xdd 🃏)

I was determined not to further tarnish my already tarnished image, as it was crucial to my plans. I stood up and retrieved my computer from the nearby bag to review my progress.

10 km run: 5 achievement points (completed)

100 push-ups: 5 achievement points (completed)

100 Sword Slashes: 10 achievement points (completed)

Current achievement points: 120

"Well, we've made some progress," I sighed, gazing at the azure sky above. Starlight Palace, secluded and serene, provided a rare moment of tranquility in this tumultuous world.

"There's only one year left until the main events of the Temple Academy begin," I reminded myself, feeling the urgency of time. I immersed myself in planning, using my longing to reunite with my family and return to my world as motivation. I had to become stronger quickly.

As I delved into my thoughts, I couldn't help but acknowledge the striking realism of this world, reminiscent of my original world. Despite the calamities that befell the land in my novel, it remained a beautiful place.

Currently, human territory had receded to a mere portion of what was once Europe and parts of western Asia, all under the rule of a colossal empire. The remaining territories had succumbed to demons and mutated monsters, a result of the malevolent entity's power.

While I sat in the majestic Starlight Palace, countless battles raged elsewhere, and the death toll continued to rise. Since the emergence of the gates, the Earth's population had plummeted from 8 billion to just over 500 million

The loss suffered by humans had placed them in grave danger. Yet, amidst the fleeting tranquility surrounding me, I couldn't help but reflect on my situation.

"This is not my world," I whispered to myself. "Let those who perish perish, and let those who survive find their way. I don't belong here in the first place."

With a resolute mindset, I vowed to utilize every means at my disposal to return to my world. As for the struggles and survival of this land, someone else would carry that burden.

Returning to the palace, I prepared for my next step. The thoughts racing through my mind were daring and reckless, and they posed a significant risk to my own life. But what other choice did I have? Risking my life seemed like the bare minimum required to achieve the seemingly impossible task entrusted to me.

So be it.

I challenged the world to show me what it had in store.
