1 And there gos the world

The world used to be beautiful, Green, A filled with water or so my father says, but all of that changed after the war everything was getting used up the resources the water the food. It seemed like it was never going to end but unfortunately it did and the world went with it. My father told me many stores of the old world that there was power to spare, that there was warm homes to live in, that there was enough food for everyone to eat to there fill. But the war took it all and destroyed it, now it a hard to get by each day. My name is Alex End I know right it's weird End my dad thinks it's funny, Because were the last of the human race the end of the line. my dad really proud of that speech he tells it every time someone gives him the chance. I think he's just an idiot and now I have to live with this name for the rest of my life. My fathers name is David End and my mother is Elizabeth bell(end). Apparently she was name after some singer in the old world. My dad must have told me how him and mom met a million times by now. A few years ago my dad worked in the engineering department and my mom worked in the hydroponics lab. The story go something like this one of the machines broke down and dad came in and saved the day and him and mom fell in love and first sight. But that's not what really happened, My dad was an assistant at the time and was just following Uncle Jack but he had to get some parts for the machine and left dad there that's when he met mom, And it was love at first sight but only for dad Uncle Jack said she thought he was creepy and smelly, he forgets to clean up and gets covered in dirt and grease and ends up making this really bad smell that would make most run. After he saw mom he ended up tripping and falling face first. Mom felt bad for him and helped him up and that's how they met, dad being and idiot.

[intercom] - The Placement Test will begin shortly make sure that you are in the designated room before it starts.

[Alex] - Oh yeah the Placement Test I completely forgot.

The Placement Test is as it sounds it determines your job and level that you will work in the bunker you take the test when you turn 16, I'm 17 now last year I failed the test and because I was late well mostly because I was late I may have started a fight too, Dad got really angry at me then but this year will be different plus that idiot Ryan isn't in the test this year and yeah he's the one I started a fight with but he insulted my dad, so I punched him in the face It hurt a lot more then I thought too.

I mentioned a bunker right that's the place that we all live and call home. We call it hope though I did here some the the adults call it hell, when I asked my dad about it he told me it was an old world religion heaven and hell. Heaven is the place mom is and where me and dad will go one day to see her and hell is like a prison or something where you pay for your sins whatever those are. But back to the point the bunker was built during the war just is case, well they destroyed the world and that did happen so yeah they must have been smart. The bunker has 10 levels we only use 5 below that is no mans land as Uncle Jack put it. Theirs some kind of problem with the lower levels but no one really know what the problem is. Some think it's so the council stays in control, Oh yeah the council is a small group of elders in the bunker that run and decide everything that happens on the first five levels. My dad joined the council about 3 years ago Uncle Jack says hes a traitor but he's mostly joking... mostly. Dad kind of changed when he joined the council he works all the time and we don't talk as mush as we used to. but it's okay because i know his job is important. Plus I have JackJack to keep me company JackJack is my plant hes some sort of fly trap? I don't know mom was the one who got him, she found him on level 3. Level 3 is mostly storage we don't even know what a lot of it does. And some of them are dangerous only testers can use them.

[???] - Alex... Alex... ALEX!!

{Ohh gods it's Rebecca why is she here}

[Rebecca] - Alex... ALEX! I know your in there your dad told me... Come on your going to be late for the Placement Test.

[Alex] - Yeah Yeah I'm coming just one second

[Intercom] - The placement Test will start momentarily

[Rebecca] - ALEX!! Your going to be late again come and get your butt moving.

[Alex] - Yeah I said I'm coming!

Rebecca can be a little annoying but she is my bet friend, well my only friend really we've been close sense we were kids when I literally ran into her when I was hiding from my dad.
