That’s on her

I woke up fast from a nightmare, noticing Mel was not next to me in bed. The next day was my school day and as I get ready I realised my hair was getting longer so I tied it up a bit leaving my fringe out, putting my watch on I close my apartment door and make my way to the so called 'educational place'. Eating a ready made breakfast I see a group of girls in a corner street near the school shouting at another girl in the same uniform as me. She had dark blue hair and a scar on her neck, as I looked better I noticed her eyes where grey. The girls slapped her bag down and stole her things, my eyes blink whilst drinking my milk chocolate confused.

Sitting on my desk I yawned, and looked to my right at Botan. "Mandi did you do the Japanese homework we where assigned?", no not really. You see I never do homework it seems to be useless to me as a demon trait we have powerful brain power. "You're funny", Botan sits up "YOU DIDNT DO IT AGAIN?!". My eyes showed irritation and I threw my empty milk box at his head and he pulled my blazer head butting me. "G-GUYS STOP!", Sura said to us shy, she played with her curly blonde hair blushing looking the other way. I grew hunger once again just looking at her. "Sorry Sura, I didn't mean to scare you", Botan noticed I didn't say anything and nudged my arm, "uh... yeah sure yeah I'm sorry I scared you too".

"Class listen up! We have a transfer student from Otio, her name is Kimi please make her feel welcome at our school", everyone questioned Otio as we looked at her. "She's small", Botan expressed as I stared at her chest and hips. "She sure is", as Kimi went to take a seat in-front of me she stared back at me and Botan with a death stare. Her dark blue hair reminded me of the girl I saw this morning... wait... that's actually her.

After every lesson I noticed she'd go to the bathrooms in break and lunch times, even after school. One day I took the initiative as followed her, she had teary eyes... my demonic self had never seen a girl cry like that before. What was she going threw? Will she get over this? I had a sense of worry within me for the first time. "Hey Mandi!", my jaw dropped and turned fast to Botan. Kimi looked at the both of us and she grew anger clenching her fists, "hear me out Mary or whatever! Quit following me, got it?". She pressed her finger on the tip of my chin and my eyebrows rise. "Yeah, yeah not like I cared about you.... Kimochi was it?", raising my voice irritated she tusked and brushed her hair walking off.

My eyes focused on her and she new that. "Hey Mandi, don't tell me you have a crush for that girl?", said Botan with a blue expression on his long face. No I do not have a crush on an attention seeking small girl who doesn't bother communicating with anyone, she is pointless and not worth me thinking about. I yawn walking home and get a message from a familiar woman. "Ah... for a second i became distracted of who I really am", speaking to myself.

After a few weeks I caught myself one morning earlier than I normally am to school, my Incubus senses didn't like what they could hear. "Hey did you even bother giving us the yen you owed us?! You're such a bitch!", seeing a girl spit on Kimi's face while she was on the floor already beaten up slightly, "hey look who's talking red lipped girl". Making my grand appearance slowly coming out of the shadow with my hands in my pockets opening my eyes, "oh you're one of the second years... I suppose the same class as... her?".

Might have not done this, probably shouldn't have, but they really pissed me off. "Kimi get up", Kimi angrily ground her teeth together and got up struggling running away. "Oh what are you? Her boyfriend?", the three girls laughed unable to understand what was about to happen to all of them, I guess that's the fun of it. Sticking my finger in my mouth I pulled my lip to the side slightly and showed them my long canine with shining purple eyes, their expressions changed immediately with wide open eyes. My strength showed off pushing one of the middle girls against a wall. "Step any closer to Kimi and I'll make sure that you won't see your family, friends, your stupid house pet that no one but probably your mother feeds or the exact place you are standing on now ever... ever again". The group of girls ended up running and screaming vampire, as if anyone was going to believe such idiots, laughing to myself I turn to hear Kimi on the floor.

Her nose was light pink as well as her eyes, she had small tears streaming down her cheek ever so elegantly. My knee sits gently in-front of her and I rub her fringe upwards to let me see her eyes, "hey K-". Her head tilted upwards to mine, and I saw every perfect artistic detail in her eyes. She sniffled and her eyes showed pure sadness, yes I'm an incubus, no I do not understand why I froze. My essence became weaker near her, and began to shake my head back into reality but before I new it she had hugged me tightly. Feeling both our chests press we fell back on the floor, for some reason I blinked staring at the morning sky and having the sent of Kimi's hair, it relaxed me.

"Why are you so upset?", I whispered.

"I can't fit in properly", she said still with an empty expression and dried up tears.

Gently placing my hand on her head she looks at me.

"No one fits in, we're all different." I smiled at her with a genuine feel and she looked at me blinking rubbing her tears.

I ended up taking her to class and she felt a bit better.

This was the first time I've ever felt accomplished.
